I wondered if this is a preference thing as to the drummer. We celebrated St Patrick's at the bar here in Ontario 🇨🇦 and the drummer in the band did not wear his shoes while playing. And we do wear our shoes indoors here.
The drummer only took his shoes off to play. When he walked around they were on. I wish we did take our shoes off in the house. The floor would stay clean longer😁 🤣Some homes you do have to. The preference of the lady of the house usually. ♥️ from Ontario 🇨🇦

Pervis is the only reactor to comment on "Thomas" playing drums in his socks!😊 Love his thoughts on this & "screaming because he stubbed his toe"!!😅 He had me cracking up the whole reaction! Yes it says it is not known where it originates but it does predate the Civil War in the US. It has evolved from the early 1800's in the southern states for sure.

Obviously you don't understand the Air drums thing! Which is digital and you play for real! You set up your drum set with HaiHat, Cymbal, Snare drum, bang drums, as well as bass drum. You have to play with socks on! The right foot controls the Bass Drum and the left controls the HaiHat. There are no "Buffetsticks"!

In Sweden we don”t have shoes inside

It's so weird walking around with shoes inside.
At a bar we definitely would wear shoes even as Swedes. It's just in peoples homes we typically don't.

In Sweden it's 230V 50Hz that is standard in the sockets.
