For WoW players wondering about the onions - Thavnairian Onions are a food necessary to level your chocobo companion past rank 10. The seeds are rare, they take a long time to grow and if not harvested in a very tight window, you'll lose the harvest. As a result, they're actually one of the more expensive items you can produce in volume in game. For the 10 onions you'll need to max out your chocobo, expect to spend about 3 million gil (possibly more or less depending on market conditions). To give a sense of how much money 3 million gil is - it's about 3/5ths the cost of a small house and about twice as much as a full set of crafted raiding gear. So yeah, stealing the onions is a massive dick move.

I’m in an explicitly Christian WoW guild. They’re great people of various skill levels (retired elderly members who transmog to players who also do mythic progression). We have plenty of members to do several weekly raids, however if players want to push harder content they join other guilds, often we have people who aren’t Christian who play with us (we just ask for them to keep the conversation family friendly in raid/voice chat. I could see how in a game like FFXIV they may not have enough players who are practicing Christians to fill a full group consistently. Some people are wary of Christian gaming guilds but my experience has been positive. My guild formed in TBC and I’ve been in it 3 years consistently. They’re laid back and chill people.
