UPDATE: "On May 30, 2023, at around 4:30 P.M., the Redding Police Department learned Missing Person Nikki Alcaraz was contacted earlier today by the Eureka Police Department and found to be safe,” the department said in a statement. “The Redding Police Department has been in contact with the Moriarty, New Mexico Police Department and confirmed Nikki is no longer considered a missing person. The Redding Police Department would like to thank our allied agency partners who assisted with efforts to locate Nikki.”
Doesn't everyone traveling from New Mexico to Orange County way down in southern California take the scenic route by going through Redding and Eureka way up in northern California? She was reported missing, not wanted, so the only thing Eureka PD could do when they found her was a welfare check and encourage her to contact family. Entire trip seems bizarre so far... seemingly not much money, fighting, drinking, ignoring family, selling a cell phone and I suspect drug use too by where she and maybe he were located but doubt we'll hear anything more of the story.
Exactly In addition, maybe that woman hit him first while thinking he should not hit her back because she is a female; some females are that delusional
People seem to forget, men can be victims, too. I think it's 6 of 1 and half a dozen of the other. They both put hands on each other. Question is, who hit who first?
Agree 100%!! The double standards are pretty ridiculous. I know for a fact in the state of GA, if there are visible marks on the person, that person no longer gets to make the decision as to if they want to press charges or not. Charges are pressed and an arrest is made. Both of them should have been arrested for at least the dv..

I talked to some of the truckers at the big trucker rally in DC a couple years back (I live in the area and me and my friends just happened to walk into their national mall sit in) and they were some of the nicest folks I've met.
I understand that because of the Gabby Petito case, it's easy to say only the woman is missing. But the news has to stop. This is not the same situation. These 2 are clearly both toxic. It's also obvious that she was not innocent in the violence here. The trucker saw him slap/punch/assault her but didn't say anything about her hitting him. And that dude was definitely assaulted at some point
Gabby and Brian were also both toxic. It was also very obvious that Gabby was not innocent. They are more alike than you'd like to think, but it's true.

@@bigcountry9457 So if you saw two people fighting and hitting each other you wouldn't try to intervene or call someone? I'm in no way attacking you, I'm just curious how one would handle this situation.
This is SO disturbing because it really reminds me of Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie. They were placed in different places after a fight (Brian was the aggressor and Gabby didn’t fight back physically though), found each other and Gabby died at Brian’s hands. I hope they’ll be ok and stay away from each other now. They both assaulted each other, so why weren’t charges laid? It’s a felony to assault someone. Good on the truck driver to stop to help. The trucker was able to locate a repair shop who made an acception, towed my car, ordered parts and arranged for repairs. Sometimes people need to learn when to call it quits. No relationship should be this toxic. Ever. And if you find your relationship like this... run, don't walk. I cannot imagine beating up the person I love and vice versa...
That's perfectly said!! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
Love is blind, so some people can't see past it to their end of relationships, which isn't too much further down their roads.
I was in an abusive relationship, I did things for him I can't imagine doing now for anyone. At the time, I couldn't picture myself without him, although he was only getting worse. I was pregnant and I felt sick and he treated me horribly for not cooking or cleaning, he said I was lying about feeling sick and when I was crying in a corner he would come tell me to shut up and make him dinner. One time he hit me so bad that I couldn't hear out of one of my ears.
That was 2 years ago and thankfully I met someone else, ironically my current boyfriend is a truck driver lol
My aunt, mom and sister fought for me, even my little cousin made sure to record him when he was hitting me so she could show my mom and aunt what a POS he was when they weren't around. They got him deported and then threatened him that they would send a Mexican gang after him

The Redding Police Department would like to thank our allied agency partners who assisted with efforts to locate Nikki.”
Found/contacted by "Eureka" that's kinda bizarre. Glad she's OK, tho'.
P.S: Somebody gotta say it: trucker dude = democrat 🤪
Doesn't everyone traveling from New Mexico to Orange County way down in southern California take the scenic route by going through Redding and Eureka way up in northern California? She was reported missing, not wanted, so the only thing Eureka PD could do when they found her was a welfare check and encourage her to contact family. He sent me a truck driver in a dark night alone in a highway when my car broke down in A Saturday night. The trucker was able to locate a repair shop who made an acception, towed my car, ordered parts and arranged for repairs.
