I think bands should make small 3-5 songs EP like this and keep on dropping EPs instead of albums. Less production cost and all can afford

Think of a live show by a non-headliner, like how most bands are when they first start out. Usually just a quick set, 30 minutes tops at most smaller clubs, probably closer to 15 or 20. Why make a 78 minute CD to prepare for that tour, especially since many bands have to make up extra songs that end up just being crappy "filler" on the album? 15 to 25 minutes of your best songs, TIGHTLY written and TIGHTLY produced, is the PERFECT length for a release. And you can save other riffs and ideas for future releases. Drop an EP after every tour, so like every 6 to 9 months. This allows you to not spend too much time in the studio or the touring all at once, so you don't get too burnt our or rusty with either situation. Hell, if you did an EP, tour, then home time, you could REALLY have a great work/life balance. As the band accumulates more and more EPs, they will also become more well known, and rise up the ranks better, and do longer shows on their tours while charging more money.

I think it works well for streaming, but a lot of people like to buy vinyl and CDs. The physical costs to buy the CD/vinyl will remain the same, but you get a lot less songs on it.
Iv been saying this for years. Why not have 3-5 bangers and a 20 minute set instead of an hour and 9 songs of garbage just to fill the album out?
