@@clandestinefreedom8114 There are WAY TOO MANY THINGS TO SAY hahaha. I hope that i hit enough topics for you. Costa Rica is a great place. It is beautiful. It has tropical jungles to tropical beaches to chilly mountains and volcanoes. It has simple Latin food, but delicious. Fresh fruits and vegetables from Farmer’s Markets. Amazing looking beautiful women 😂. I love getting coconuts on the side of the road and drinking them. I miss it…😓. There are many places to explore and things to do. You meet so many different people, from interesting Ticos, to foreigners that are just like you and me and want something different from the US experience, to tourists that you build friendships with and then they leave or they end up staying, etc. I love the mainly chill vibe. The people are nice and chill most of the time. They live by a saying “Pura Vida” which means Pure Life. And it means like “all good” “chilling”, kind of haha. Sometimes it is too chill when you want some service done fast or something etc. and it’s okay. It is what it is. Acceptance. There is positive and negatives everywhere you go. To me, I just like it better there. It is 3rd world though, but there is something about that, that makes me love it more. And it is a pretty safe 3rd world country too, which is nice. I learned Spanish fluently from living there (i lived in the suburbs of the city in a nice area and also had friends that didn’t speak English). I also lived in not such a nice area too lol. I have lives similar to a humilde Costa Rican at times. Taking buses, not having money for Ubers, etc. but not the same. North Americans just have everything way better, with help from the government etc. But if you live outside the city in or near beach towns, then there is a lot of English. Even in the city there is. So go enjoy! Live your life. Do something exciting. I am not into college and working 9-5 and all that stuff if I don’t have to. Now my goal is to do some Air BnB’s and Apartments in Costa Rica. Then buy a nice piece of land and live there, grow some food and enjoy life, maybe have kids. There is something about the kids in Costa Rica that is different than the states… they do not have this thing about them like many North American kids do lol. Hard to explain. You will notice most of the kids are just more mature, more quiet when they need to be, more street smart than many kids in the states, majority don’t have things handed to them, many of them have to work and pay for University, they don’t cause unnecessary problems like in the states, they just have more of a survival mode, but at the same time very humble and chill and friendly and funny lol. I just love Ticos hahaha. There’s no way I would date an American girl if i ever split from my wife haha. Maybe one that is very different. I suggest, just go do it. You are just graduating… go live life! If you can. Screw the norm in the States and all the positions and jobs and clothes and tons of money and social status and material 🤢🤮… Get away from it all and actually LIVE so many people are miserable here in the states lol, well in New York City hahaha. I’m projecting a little hehe… But thank God for the states at the same time, i am so so grateful for USA. There are so many amazing things. My job is working from home. I do okay financially. I can live in Costa Rica. (Not rich, not poor) But i don’t want to be a big part of the US that much. Wish you the best of best in your journey. And in worst case scenario if you don’t like where you live, you can move somewhere else. Peace and Love fellow soul seeker🙏😇
Paul why don’t you mention besides your diet your leanness might have something to do with the amount of exercise you get, not that you don’t lift weights
I feel the same way. Jesus even promoted eating raw milk, raw eggs, raw honey and raw fruit in the Essence Gospel of Peace. And that fire and frost kills our food
@@stiinkbug5827 lmao. when Homo erectus started cooking with fire, hominid brain size increased exponentially. then they had to go around & kill all the dinosaurs because they weren't going to fit on Noah's Ark.
We have chickens that give us high quality eggs. When I make grain free, sugar-free cookies with almond flour and monk fruit, I eat the raw dough. Even before that, I’ve been eating raw cookie dough my whole life. 😂
Question peeps. If eggs are soy free does that completely remove linoleic acid? Or does that mean corn could still be in the chicken food? Can still eat eggs? Not yolks? Same with bacon if soy free?
It’s very difficult to make observational associations due to confounding variables. Not saying seed oils don’t have their problems but consider how we changed in the last 120 years due to artificial light too. 😅
It’d be great if you can address caloric intake in parallel to current caloric/BMR/I models. Assuming those models are based off of the traditional American diet? I would think the animal based diet would not require as many calories because you’re absorbing the majority of the food.
@deo1107He did . Why not put his name to protein powders are bs into the You Tube box and come back and discuss ? Amazing how people say false things confidently, just like Dr Salad .
I started on carnivore 2 years ago and have been eating animal based 100% for well over a year. I weigh more on this diet (likely due to being nutritionally dense foods) and have struggled to lose weight. It is also a common theme on Dr. S's blog site. It is not as simple for some people, and I believe Dr. S has said he is surfing 2-3 hours a day.
Carbs are an energy source plain and simple. How much movement do you get a day? I eat daily 300-350 grams of carbs per day but I’m active. I get minimum of 15,000 steps a day and that’s when the phones in my pocket to track so I’m getting easily 20,000. That’s not to brag it’s to show you to base your carbs on your activity.
I'm with you 💯. For the last 12 months I just ate grass-fed meat and all I got was acid reflux, itching (private parts) and water retention in mythighs. I walked for 40 min. every day and drink lots of water. Carnivore is not easy on everyone, I believe or I guess. I just gave up and finally added green salad to my meat, eggs and bacon on a rye cracker in the morning. I add apple cider before eating the meat. I think it's helping but carnivores are not as easy as people make it sound like. I'm 72 so it's not like I'm going to climb Mount Everest but I do go walking. So, I hear you. I don't know what the solution is. Everyone has their own story and too many make it sound like you can lose 60 lbs overnight when it's probably more within 5 years. Though, I love to lose 40 lbs overnight. 🙂
Paul, is there a difference between organic cane sugar and organic coconut sugar? Are both acceptable to eat (in moderation) in addition to honey/maple syrup on an animal based diet?
This is a great podcast. One thing I do wonder is what Paul thinks about folate, magnesium, molybdenum, all difficult to get on these animal based/carnivore diets, unless you eat often excessive amounts of liver. I used to be on this type of animal based diet he recommends, ut suffered greatly from impaired methylation due to a folate deficiency. Adding legumes, leafy greens and beet juice made me feel a lot better. I also wonder why he doesn’t recommend red palm oil or vitamin E supplementation as a strategy to safely recover from seed oils for a few years (temporary), knowing that high PUFA vegetable oils (seed oils) highly upregulate vitamin E requirement, and knowing that, coincidentally, seed oils are often very high vitamin E sources, on top of knowing that these PUFAs have a much higher half life in the body than vitamin E, so if you quit seed oils, your vitamin E requirement stays high for a very long time (+/- 4 years), but your vitamin E is depleted very quickly, requiring a very high vitamin E, but very low PUFA source, like red palm oil or a vitamin E supplement. Not doing this will lead to massive oxidative burden due to the lipid peroxidation that these PUFAs undergo, which create tremendous damage if not buffered with vitamin E. Lastly, I also wonder what he thinks about eating brain and prion disease, and how important brain is as a arachidonic and DHA source
Sooo, I've been eating very similar to Paul Saladino (I just realized his last name is SALAD) LOL... but my Cholesterol is higher than ever... Dad has clogged arteries, so heart issues run in my family. My test level is also high as it's ever been at age 40. I'm so confused of what to do!
He says Cholesterol levels aren't an "indicator" for higher risks of heart disease but triglycerides and sugar levels like A1C are a bigger predictor of it. If that's true idk.
That's not surprising at all, do you have high HDL and low triglycerides? Are you insulin sensitive? Have you done a CAC score, are you active during the day and don't smoke, those are all the main risk factors for heart disease, if you have none of those then you don't have to worry about LDL, especially a good cac score, hope this helps
@ I have some answers… I work out high intensity 3 days a week, and light 2 days. My LDL is actually the one that is higher- for bad fats… my biggest change in diet was grass fed rib eye steaks and butter while eating less chicken. Can say I have been doing so for the past year.. hmm 🤔
@adrianowallin how high is it? Mine was 160 last time I checked with a 0 cac score, eating more beef will raise LDL but it's not necessarily gonna raise your cac score
@ My LDL is 120 and was 100 prior to my diet change over a year ago. I will look over my CAC if I can find from last blood work, but not sure I know much about that. I will research that
How can I minimize the high ferritin (IRON) levels in my blood due to being on a prolonged carnivore diet? -I don't want the damage that high iron level can cause.
I hate it when people say they will link something in the description but then don't like he said he'd link to radical health radio but it's only his own links he links to.

If you can.
Screw the norm in the States and all the positions and jobs and clothes and tons of money and social status and material 🤢🤮…
Get away from it all and actually LIVE
so many people are miserable here in the states lol, well in New York City hahaha.
I’m projecting a little hehe…
But thank God for the states at the same time, i am so so grateful for USA.
There are so many amazing things.
My job is working from home.
I do okay financially.
I can live in Costa Rica. (Not rich, not poor)
But i don’t want to be a big part of the US that much.
Wish you the best of best in your journey.
And in worst case scenario if you don’t like where you live, you can move somewhere else.
Peace and Love fellow soul seeker🙏😇
Thank you so much Dr Saladino!
Paul why don’t you mention besides your diet your leanness might have something to do with the amount of exercise you get, not that you don’t lift weights

I love Ste
What if I’m eating eggs that are pasture raised and organic?
he does the same thing it's good
But why would nature make the egg if its not good raw
I feel the same way. Jesus even promoted eating raw milk, raw eggs, raw honey and raw fruit in the Essence Gospel of Peace. And that fire and frost kills our food
Raw meat?
@ what do u mean? Raw meat is perfectly safe if fresh and good quality.
Trump start banning fluoride in tap water. I'm so happy tap water is drinkable again and hopefully it stop my hair falling.

Great podcast!
Paul saladino you throw knowledge bomb!
Respect from Ethiopia
Question peeps. If eggs are soy free does that completely remove linoleic acid? Or does that mean corn could still be in the chicken food? Can still eat eggs? Not yolks? Same with bacon if soy free?
Chickens are carnivores mostly. They should be able to eat bugs outside. If they’re raised inside, they’re eatign grains and soy
Is oats good?
Hey Paul it would be really nice if you would respond to this but can you make a video about shilajit or try it? Thank you, Paul cheers🥂
Did he say don’t eat vegetables because they may cause auto immune issues…I gotta hear more on this lol
Veggies are full of antinutrients. Many people are sensitive to them.
Guys I have sleep ap what changes should I make in my diet and lifestyle??
Dude you did a pod with shawn ryan? Drops soon I hope.
THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. PAUL ! YOU ARE THEE BEST !
It’s very difficult to make observational associations due to confounding variables. Not saying seed oils don’t have their problems but consider how we changed in the last 120 years due to artificial light too. 😅
Paul any opinion on microgreens?
Ozempic is junk food rehab😢
It’d be great if you can address caloric intake in parallel to current caloric/BMR/I models. Assuming those models are based off of the traditional American diet? I would think the animal based diet would not require as many calories because you’re absorbing the majority of the food.
Paul Salad
Loved the Vid. Next time I'm in Phoenix----got to Visit that Butcher shop.
I thought protein powder was bullshit? Did you change your mind?
He'll start promoting seed oils if paid enough .
@deo1107He did .
Why not put his name to protein powders are bs into the You Tube box and come back and discuss ?
Amazing how people say false things confidently, just like Dr Salad .
So whats wrong with MB??
💯❤🙏
The government isn't going to do anything. They could care less about us. We are the ones who will take care of our health.
Calories still count. Have you tried dialing back total daily intake a bit?
Carbs are an energy source plain and simple. How much movement do you get a day? I eat daily 300-350 grams of carbs per day but I’m active. I get minimum of 15,000 steps a day and that’s when the phones in my pocket to track so I’m getting easily 20,000. That’s not to brag it’s to show you to base your carbs on your activity.
What exactly do you eat?
Add berries!!!!!!!
Paul, is there a difference between organic cane sugar and organic coconut sugar? Are both acceptable to eat (in moderation) in addition to honey/maple syrup on an animal based diet?
Heart and soil need to include all nutrients and levels in their dessicated supplements.
I will research that
Excellent
Hi
Ste is the goat for those that don’t know, now you know.
Good stuff.
47:00 in. Very important point. Someone needs to make this into it's own separate video. Possibly most important talking point on this whole podcast
Sad that those who created this mess (wanted it that way). Sick people keep the money in their pockets flowing. YIKES !
How can I minimize the high ferritin (IRON) levels in my blood due to being on a prolonged carnivore diet?
-I don't want the damage that high iron level can cause.
Reduce organ meats. Those contain the high levels of iron you’re trying to avoid
Donate blood twice a year.
DR. Paul i have an agressive Cancer what should i do??
I've heard people recommend ivermectin and carnivore diet.also make sure your vitamin d levels are high
Research Gerson protocol, cured me of two major cancers ~~
Can you do some videos about the dangers of steroids? Anabolic androgenic steroids.
The dangers are obvious do you need a video to tell you?
@ no, but more so for others
Major change - what could that be? RFK jr - you can't be serious - supports a traitor
We need an episode on MSG

I hate it when people say they will link something in the description but then don't like he said he'd link to radical health radio but it's only his own links he links to.
It's in there!!! Scroll down.

After the paragraph that tells how many viewers it says "more" click on that and it towards the bottom
ARE PALLATABLE FOODS BIOWEAPONS TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC?😏
RFK junior loves to eat McDonald's cause Trump told him to do so .
Any one else find it comical the Trump groupies where kicking up a stink when Michelle Obama wanted to clean up the food system ?
Now it's all the way with MAHA . 😂
If RFK, Jr does eat McDonalds, I'm sure it's only as many people do. They eat the burgers only - no bread, or anything else. Meat only.
Why did you have to call it MAHA! Too much like MAGA which is wrong in so many ways. Kennedy ok Trump no way
And you do realize Trump couldn’t care less about making people healthy. It will be an uphill battle because of him.
The fact Trump is making RFK the head of the health movement is enough in my book to praise him. Hopefully Kennedy will have the powers that under Biden he would never have.
Grow up.
MAHA! Make America Healthy Again! ❤
@@rblue6295yawn the democrats don't either. Trump derangement syndrome in full effect
