Thanks for reuploading this music video. The twoism boards love to mog this tune, but i've yet to see anyone offer a reasonable explanation of whom or where this particular track is from... track length is perfect, sounds are frankly pretty spot on (let's be honest we're all guessing), so if it's fake whoever made it (please enlighten me) did a fantastic job...
I still stand by this being the correct “found the way”. I remember i have a really ofd track called esp by thr buzzcocks but wow does it sound like boc remixed it. I cant find the remix anywhere tho. And the computer i have it on got messed up from a brown out we had last year. I dunno just a thought. Thanks for uploading this
This is such a mesmerizing and optimistic sounding song with beautiful melodies and drum patterns. It kind of invokes the feeling of finally having "found the way" after feeling lost for a while. If this is a fake (which I assume it is) I honestly wonder why the artist decided to "disown" it and present it as a BoC song. They deserve to be proud of their creation, but now no one will be able to give them credit for it. Same goes for a lot of these BoC fakes.
Does one need credit to take pride in something? Maybe BoC is an idea? This isn't true, ofc, but there is an idea behind BoC that someone might attempt to evoke by crediting a song to them. I think the creative fabric of BoC is rich enough to warrant this.
@@lorentzfactor5118 Yeah, I do agree to some extent. Credit and pride are separate of course. And yes, imagining this be an old not-publicly-released work by BoC does evoke something, like a partially uncovered mystery. In that sense labeling it as a BoC song can be an artistic choice, I suppose. Nevertheless I do think attributing one's work to someone else without the latter's permission is not really fair to the credited artist, or at the very least just dishonest (I know this is a different point to what I was saying in my initial comment, my remark about pride and credit wasn't phrased well).
What I find most interesting about this is the very audible crackle during the quieter portions -- particularly starting at 2:08. To my knowledge, Closes was never pressed on vinyl, which has me leaning towards this not being Found the Way. Another thing to note is that whoever uploaded this and the other supposed Closes track videos to the Wayback Machine has only one thing in their favorites and it's a '92 movie titled "The Gay Man's Guide to Safer Sex." Who were you, 70696e61?
Could be something to do with a sample, i imagine they could of ripped it from a record player, or could be something to do with the ripping being a poor quality at some points, who knows.
Your channel is excellent ❤️thank you for this girl such a beautiful sounding fake honestly

yeah if it is fake it's a very good fake
Sounds too good to be fake.
I recall 3:07 or something similar being the thumbnail of the original upload of this video. Does anybody remember what movie this footage is from?

It's a bit like with art forgery as well.
I think that author wanted people to know about his song inspired by boc, so he gave the credit to them.
This sounds like BoC, but i will not be fooled as easily as i was with Five Nine Alaska.
Yeah, Five Nine Alaska sounds so BOCish
