YeysBaws! That is foolish, threse guys have been making power supplies since before you bought your first rgb fan. I would take something like this over the average Corsair/EVGA unit any day of the week
@@yeysbaws FSP have been making units for OEMs like Dell and HP for decades which is why you don't always recognise their name (they make stuff for Coolermaster and Antec as well as TV PSUs too). Many didn't know about Seasonic until a while ago yet they also supply to others like Corsair and EVGA. Yes, you hear of PSUs from Dell and HP units going bad but you have to remember that those are mostly in office environments and are almost NEVER maintained/cleaned and often run 24/7 all of their life. FSP are one of the top brands out there along with Seasonic and Super Flower.
for those of you who don't know FSP is the new name of Fortron, one of the first companies who started manufacturing PSU's for home PC's back in the 90's, they are on the market from 26 years, PSU's manufactured by Fortron are sold by the brands Antec, Silverstone, Thermaltake, Zalman and more, so that's the Company I chose
Yes, this was the brand of choice back in the day when my PC had an Athlon 64. But even before that, I used Fortron. Believe it was the only PSU at the time that was BLUE.
I've got an FSB Chinese branded P/S (original), recovered from my current Acer desk top. In October 2018 - my P/S, HD and Monitor went to the torch. I ended up tossing over $350.00 in replacement costs, plus a new power supply. I have not (yet) isolated the cause of the p/s failure - but I did clean out a mountain of dust bunnies outta the p/s. The money's gone (to pay for new equipment). I was hoping to repair the damaged p/s. The monitor was tossed out, weeks ago, and the Seagate drive is currently in-operable, but may undergo testing to recover the boot partition.
@@09croix21 actually i got a 1300w super flower Gold SE for under $200 which is a great deal. I like to future proof my rig just in case I upgrade. In the future, all i got to upgrade is the cpu and graphics card. But i think this rig will last 10yrs at least
It always compatible with both CPU. Don't worry too much about CPU compatibility. Some manufacturers still state Intel ATX version because Intel proposed and designed ATX standard.
It’s a flop. Coz my brother use that psu after 2 days. My brother’s pc not booting because of that fuck*ng psu. His psu hydro 600w 80 true rated bronze. His gpu is rx 5600xt and his procie is ryzen 3 3300x. It’s totally brand new.
(i know this is late reply)vProbably factory defect. Return it right away. Not all products are perfectly made, doesn't mean the product itself is bad.
I agree. Flop. This PSU is installed factory in my brand new Lenovo Legion T7 Gaming PC and after about only a a week of use, the PSU completely gave out and my PC wont turn on anymore. The worse PSU I have ever run into. Do not buy. Others have complained as well. You have been warned.
They make the shittiest PSU don't buy. My fsp hydro g failed after 4 weeks. And then the local RMA denied warranty with deceiving tactics of saying that PSU is burnt
Do you like what you see? ;)
Did you know FSP manufacturers many units for other PSU brands?
I still dont trust this brand. Selling around $100-$150, I’ll go for seasonic or EVGA everyday. I wont risk it.

Love this brand. Im using 80+ white only & they do the job ♥️

Would you still recommend this in 2022??? planning on buying the 1000w variant. TIA!
Ive bought a 1000w version, it has 10 yrs warranty so it has to be good. Building a i7 13th gen with rtx 3080. Will this 1000w model psu suffice??
Its overkill 😂 750 is sufficient for 3080.

So what PSU did you end up with and do you like it?
Does it make a click noise when you turn off the pc?
If I remember correctly, yes. Many PSUs do that nowadays.
@@Nicolas11x12English Thanks! :)
Can it handle 11900k rtx3090?

Sent back to FSP. They provide 5 years warranty even on the 80+ white model. Im still using Hyper Pro 550w 80+ around 2 years+ Ryzen 5 2600 + RTX 2060

Fx 6300 on 4,6ghz and rx 580 1411 mhz this psu can't handle that spec...

FSP should be your last resort. i've heard horror stories
You can say that about all the PSU brands, they all have horror stories.
