RWF's are by far one of the MOST exciting things to watch in Esports. I wish we had more of these per year, the hype and level of play is incredible watching teams of 20+ go head to head to complete such a task together. There's truly nothing like it from any other game to date. GG to Echo and GG to their competition as well. Echo wouldnt have been able to push themselves as hard w.o em.

Congratulations Guys, 18 Days of High Performance Raiding for 16 Hours each Day. Just Insane what u Guys achieved again, even though starting later than NA.
That gap pretty much died out due to various things happening along the course (not to say Echo didn't play amazingly to catch up). The crazy thing is that Liquid started Jailer later than Echo, overtook them in progress on the fight, then mental strain on the last 2 days wiped their team out and they honestly couldn't play anymore. Props to Echo for being able to stick out the mental battle with how long this race went on. I can't imagine having that level of focus after that.

this kill was perfect, we had ambulance coming for the jailer joke about lorgok hospital defile on the entire platform the insane grip on deepshades and gingi benched P E R F E C T I O N
I don't think anyone here has appreciated the nuance of that grip moment. It's not an insane grip alone. It's a Guardian Spirit up the last moment they can stay in range and keep themselves alive, with around 1 second left on the buff before it procs from the debris he couldn't avoid because he was stuck in seed, to get a Soulshape blink so he can BE in range for a grip while dodging the pillars that come down after in front of him. A great bit of awareness and skill from the whole lot and absolute dumb luck on the GS lmao
Paragons LK and Ragnaros HC kills were my favorite vids since 10 years ... It changed now!!! The performance from ECHO is so impressive and especially to figure out the mechanics in the secret phase in order to work out the positionings etc. (they needed just a few pulls into secret phase to get the kill done, i cant believe it!) I guess this is champions league and what makes a raid-leader (including all involved tacticans + analysts) happy the most ! ? ! It was such a great time as a viewer and it was so close a long time with LIQUID : head to head, thanks liquid also to make it that thrilling till the end... so much respect for all the top guilds (so much efforts and time invested.... just WOW!)
For me this is my favorite world first kill after Lich King. Say what you want about the Jailer and this expansion. But this marathon of a race, I didn't have a job at the time, so I watched the race from morning to night every single day of the race. After so many days and weeks of progress, seeing this incredible kill and leadership gives me goosebumps. For me this is a solid favorite until now. (After Paragon vs LK ofc)

Wow, that healing reduction debuff from Mortal Strike really did the heavy lifting, huh?? They cut 5% off of the secret phase just from that debuff alone.
it depends. I think Scripe explained later in an interview that if this wasn't the case, they would have to max out the duration of the death sentence debuff which meant they get probably another 15 seconds out of it. So I believe they would have gotten it anyway, but maybe not on Saturday but on Sunday.
This is my first time watching the entire RTWF this year and have to say have loved watching Echo pull this off I was watching on Twitch when it happened too. Congrats guys I pray one day I can maybe get into a RTWF guild
Gratz boys!! I did not miss a day of the race. I was animating the chat of my favorite streamers: naowh, fragnance, xerwo, merees and some more. When you defeated the jailer it was as if I was there at that very moment too. It was brutal!!! ♡
This whole race was epic. Every time I tuned in and something looked impossible, I would come back a couple hours later and they'd made significant progress. I don't think anyone will argue that this was one of the hardest tiers in the game's history. Huge well-deserved win, Echo absolutely outplayed everyone here. Props to Liquid as well though for putting up a serious fight and making the race interesting.
I swear at that point I'd be more glad that I can finally go home than achieving world first. You can see how fatigued both Echo and Liquid guys have been looking with how long this tier went on. Well done for pushing through guys, that was an excellent kill and a great performance throughout the raid.
@@broland1655 Of course they're pumped they won, but acknowledging the fatigue that the players are likely feeling does not mean that I'm downplaying their achievement. They played excellent throughout this raid and that kill was really good. However this raid tier has gone on far longer than past tiers, and while the raiders are definitely ecstatic to have won the race, they're also glad to be done with it because of how exhausting and long it has been. These guys have all been grinding for like 16 hours a day for almost a month, with heroic splits week plus almost 3 weeks of mythic raiding. I'm glad they can get a well-deserved rest now after their achievement.

Just because something is fun does not mean it isn't also tiring, they're not mutually exclusive, especially when you've been pushing hard for 16 hours a day. And just because I said that they're tired or glad to be done, does not mean that I said they're not having fun. Difference between the two teams is that while both have found the tier to be tiring, Liquid stopped having fun, Echo didn't.

I was there when it happened. Well deserved, even though i feel a little bit sad for Liquid. They were so far ahead when they came to the Jailer, however they just couldnt get into the final phase.

You can tell Scripe had no idea how low Jailer's HP was as he was about to start calling the next set of mechanics, the boss dies and he double checks and celebrates. Great kill video.
yep, sure, 100% the raid lead that doesnt play doesnt see the boss hp xD he was annoucing them in case for some reason they wouldnt kill him before then, check your brain dude
@@karolworkowski3423 Toxic much? Clearly you've never raid lead. It's very common to not look at a bosses HP when it doesn't indicate a phase change. Just watch his delayed reaction to joining in with thr celebratory screaming.

I was there when it happened. Well deserved, even though i feel a little bit sad for Liquid.
They were so far ahead when they came to the Jailer, however they just couldnt get into the final phase.
