I'd be more impressed if they didn't use addons telling them what to do and what to expect next. Having big part of the gameplay- and combat aspects automated via addons removes too much of the challenge.

Healers need all the praise in the world man... I haven't been on WoW in a while but always watch the race to worlds first.... This run right here during the last 5%... Those healers were going god mode to keep that run alive. The sheer consistency from them to keep everyone up is always insane.

It was really really fun! I quite liked being knocked around to the platforms. And the VA for Raszageth was very entertaining
Love that they have a DH topping the dps charts. As a DH, I can't seem to keep up with hunters and mages in raids, but these dudes are just nuts.

this was absolute insane. a few members of the guild and i watched it during hanging out in dc. everyone stopped playing during the last 10%. and i made me a own x-mas gift with ordering one of the nice looking jerseys^^ merry christmas everyone

Wasn't deserved at all. They prepared knowing a nerf was coming while Liquid wasn't raiding at the time.

Echo was in the lead with less pulls and less time played. They had the Boss almost dead at lunch.

That was the god pull of all god pulls. Same as Sylvanas. Zero mistakes, insane DPS. You would have come close to killing that pre-nerf with that kind of insane performance. A well deserved win.
GGs to Liquid too, they played great for most of the raid but you guys were clearly just consistently better on the last boss as usual. Saw every new phase before they did and had by far the best DPS. You perform when it really matters. Championship mentality.

That first nerf happened when there was still 3 other phases to progress this nerf happened after all progression had been done and just needed to be executed

Liquid unironically thinks they can win the race against Gingi, a man who has a daily intake of 450 grams of pure lean protein feeding his bulging muscles and 200 billion brain neurons. The electricity this man generates from perfectly executing his rotation with a 100% uptime is enough to power the whole echo facility. What does Liquid have? Trill? Don't make me laugh. I think we all know who wins this

Jeathes casting was next level. Informative, funny and the insights of being a wf raider knocked it out of the park. You got to bring the man back next time. Likely not a nice thing to say, but I couldnt stand the other chitter-chatter hype up style commentary anymore, so I mainly tuned in when he did the casting.
Disagree the other casters are way better.
I don't play retail, but I always try and follow the world first race. Dragonflight sounds like it's doing well. Echo is the best! Well done. EU ❤

first time i see a enhancement shaman (my beloved class-spec) in a WORLD FIRST kill.
Back in TBC there were lots of them and essential for extra melee wf buffs when they use strength gems for sockets they hit like demmons . Shamans ❤

The only thing I'm confused about is that I don't see their Static Charge debuffs drop any Static Field zones upon expiration.
I noticed they're using warlock portal to fight against the wind pushback, but still why no Static Field zones visible?
cuz there are no static field zones to stop you from falling out on mythic

They could top it by not using addons that tell them what to do nor what to expect next.
@@kyoai Would make this fight basically impossible. The fights are designed with addons in mind and are extremely complicated even with the addons. But if you think it is so easy, get a raid of 20 people with no addons and clear it

Maximum Limit fan here, but I must say that Echo's pulls looked visually more consistent which inevitably led to the world first again. Congrats guys. I am always enjoying watching pro players from all of the top guilds.

@@gitnjur At the time the Nerf was given. Yes, only Echo could benefit from it as they were the only guild awake and working on the encounter when the nerf went out. Blizzard gave Echo the win.

Just wondering - does the raidlead also get the in-game achievement despite his character not being present for the fight?
No, in raid lead with a PoV from player who actually play (usually Roger's PoV)
But he will get CE during farming period
The achievment is not really sought after. They all have 4+ wow accounts, so the achievments are scattered across them, which is quite sad if you ask me. You could be the first to clear 5 new raids but have one achievment on 5 each different account.

Why is Meeres doing the calls instead of Scripe?
Meeres is doing the calls up to a certain point where tactics are comparatively easy and players are already familiar with by the multiple attempts on the boss
Rycn and Meeres at the end just looking at each other. Shaking their heads like "How did we just kill that?"

@@Lycra-wx6ix I mean your not wrong but the whole pull thing is kind of a poor assessment because a lot of the bosses liquid slammed their faces against because they were impossibly tuned which inflated their pull count. If the boss would have been in it's nerfed state from the first pull, I think there would have been a different outcome. But echo still won and deserves the victory at the same time. Good race regardless

@@iCipher Another stupid comment from a man who apparently saw the final bosses being killed in mythic for the first time in his life. Almost always these are mega complex dps and hps checks, after which their nerfs and the guild enters the nrv phase. That's how Paragon had 532 pulls on Ragna 25 hm, Nefarian 25 hm was also killed (after nerfs and stacks of 11 druids). KJ and Uunat were also killed after 600+ and 700+ pulls. So shut up if you don't know that such a sitzation is the norm and Raszageth is nerfed only because of Christmas.

Crazy improvement to go all the way from 8% to 0 in one pull.
It got a huge nerf extending the p3 by a lot, thats why it suddenly got one shot, otherwise it probably would have taken quite a while until it got actually killed.
@@Kamanou95 I think echo would have killed it regardless but yes it was a massive nerf to the P3 mechanics. Shame because it devalues the kill a bit for a deserved victory for echo. Liquid had a really great race as well. All and all, insane play on both sides.
Best pull was 5% actually, dunno why it wasn't updated on Meeres' stream but yeah.
Later on in the "interview" they said they were confident they could've pushed it even without the nerfs, and considering how much time they spent calculating and optimizing, I believe them xd

They also said that before the nerf they would need the boss to phase into p3 at like 38% + have a perfect pull to kill it, they phased it at 40% and weren't even close to reaching the soft enrage on the kill

These are professional players. Not your average wow player. Even on NORMAL difficulty this fight for me as a healer is insane with these 6 phases. We've done it and its enough for now.
