- Hey ya'll. In part 1 of this video I show my tooling process for a shave bag, from a pattern I got from Don Gonzales. I'm using 9-10 oz Hermann Oak Veg Tan Leather and using a mix of Barry King and Craftool Pro tools.

Thank you so much for this tutorial!!
Man that’s looking great. Great work Austin
Thanks soo much
You are KILLIN it Austin ! Awesome work brother !
Thank you very much
What bevelers do you use? I have a couple xx steep BKs and craftools but your angles look more pleasant then what I get out of mine.
I use a BK large steep beveler for my borders and long stretches. I use a craftool pro B2043 for most of my main beveling. And I use a PB011 small beveler for my tight areas. I think I got that one from hobby lobby.
@@AttackLineLeather thanks, never can have enough stamping tools.
@@mellodave1 haha that's the truth
Love your work, is this your own pattern? Is it for sale? I love western/wildlife scenes. I've been attempting to find old vintage craftaids patterns. Mostly off ebay. I am just starting out in leathercraft. Please do a close-up of the tools, give the name/number. Also can you please talk and explain what you are doing as you're doing it? I need help with how to use the modeling tools please. Great looking work! Thank you!
Artwork is hand drawn by myself. Shave bag Pattern can be found by Don Gonzales. I generally do post close ups, I just have tons of tooling videos where I do so.
My eyes....!!? Oh just really bad camera.😞😞
