Slime Rancher 2 - What I would like to see

So since slime rancher 2 is coming out so soon (Sep 22) I thought it would be a good time to go back and play through slime rancher and talk about its high points and shortcomings to figure out what I want to see in a sequel. While I really enjoy the original having finished it multiple times I think it has a lot of space for improvement.
