BBKA Spring Convention 2025

A look at BBKA Spring Convention 2025. The Convention is organised by beekeepers for beekeepers, and there is always something new, with topics for everyone’s level of interest and knowledge. The atmosphere is friendly, with places to have a coffee and catch up with beekeepers you know, and to meet beekeepers you don’t know - yet!
Harper Adams catering is good quality and reasonably priced, but please remember to bring a payment card to buy breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Cash is not accepted, and dinners must be pre-booked.
Lectures, workshops and seminars for all levels of experience are offered every day. There is a Not-for-Profit exhibition (including the BBKA stand) on Friday & Saturday, a large Trade Show with Speakers Corner on Saturday and Research Posters on Friday. The 24 lectures cannot be booked. With a Convention wristband (not Trade Show only), just go directly to your chosen lecture theatres in good time.
Workshops and seminars must be booked as places are limited. These often fill up quickly so make your choice and book a place as soon as possible. Workshops are hands-on, practical affairs which usually require equipment and consumables so involve an extra cost. Seminars are participatory groups with no charge other than a Convention wristband. Lectures, on the other hand, do NOT need to be booked and are open to all with a Convention wristband.
