both diluted and undiluted
Pinata Brass

close it all with lacquer sealer for gold leaf and one4all spray varnich , Molotow

This is so meaningful to me. Last year I read a book on the art of Kintsugi and how to use that concept to heal my shattered heart after dealing with loss in my life. I learned the value of "repairing" what is broken and having it result in something even more beautiful. Thank you for capturing this in your art.

I'm a beginner with alcohol inks. In fact someone in my alcohol ink group recommended that I watch u. I tried using the inks a couple years ago but just couldn't get it. I tried blowing thru a straw then the hand blower squeeze ball thing, lol, then I tried my air brush. Just got so frustrated after almost a year, that I stopped. Then I joined the group I'm in now n saw someone using a paintbrush !!! Had no idea u could actually paint with the inks!!! Thats when it was suggested to watch u😁. Ur work is absolutly stunning!!!! Also new to me....I had no idea u could use a glue gun for gold leafing!!! Amazing n seems much easier then the regular glue, not to mention alot cheaper! I'm excited to watch more of ur tutorials. Thank u!

It reminds me of my glass art. Before hands stopped doing it. I love it and I am pretty sure that is the best glue gun I have ever seen. I miss cutting glass and stretching lead. Thank you. ❤️

it dries only in the time it takes to get the hot glue on and then I start with the gold from the top
do not press too hard when putting the gold on

I love doing this style but didnt know it was called this! Going to read up on it! Question- im working on canvas ( primed ) and would like to know if you let the glue dry a certain amount of time before laying gold down? My sealer is krylon kamar varnish and uv archival. Sometimes triple glaze. Is that good enough? Im not familiar with your recommendation

it's a look alike, the real kintsugi technique is for ceramics, that was what i saw and was inspired to do on top of alcohol Ink.
i put gold on as soon as i finish glue. so I do not wait for the glue to be completely dry.
i also do it on canvas and it works really well

I am not familiar with krylon kamar so I can not comment on that product but try it on a small piece and see if it works 👍

I think she used the Molotov marker ever so slightly on the stems. It looks like she may have as I looked on full screen.
