- Sarpanchof Netravali BundaVarakhas been accused of corruption for making payments to a contractor who has not constructed the gutter in Vichundrem ward number 1, of Netravali village. The total amount allocated for the gutter construction was Rs 5,26,520, out of which Rs 4,53,731 has already been paid to the contractor. The gutter was supposed to be built from Albert Pacheco’s home to Ramesh Gaonkar’s house at Vichundrem. The people visited the spot and found that there was no gutter. SarpanchBundaVarak asserted that the gutter has been constructed, even though there is not gutter. Resident narrated the problems they faced due to lack of gutter.
