A lot of young people are currently feeling sad, lonely and like they have no purpose, personally I feel it has to do with how much attention we put inwards and focus on ourselves instead of looking outwards. Friends and family make us happier than we think, and constantly thinking about self-improvement might burn you out. In general, take it easy on yourself and spend some time with your favourite people. I hope you feel better, Sadie!
Hey Sadie! I've watched your channel for a couple of years and I'm so grateful that you share this side of your uni experience. I'm in 3rd yr as well and find it so easy to slip into unproductive, boring routines once I've been back a while. I totally relate to the feeling of lacking purpose, I think it's hard to stay driven and focused when you're mostly responsible for your own productivity at university. You're doing a brilliant job, don't forget everything seems a bit worse in the winter as well! Have a wonderful Christmas and take some time to relax💞
Your amazing, a lot of people feel like this and you aren’t alone. Your beautiful and pushed yourself to go this morning which you should be proud of, it’s easier to get back in bed and repeat the cycle but you didn’t. We love you and support you ❤️
I felt the exact same in my third year, wondering if I should go straight into a masters, since all my friends in uni have, but there is no rush. I’ve decided to take some time out of education (a sort of gap year/years I guess lol) just to work random jobs, save up some money, go travelling etc . I knew as soon as my final year started that I was exhausted with being in education. I graduated this July and am so glad I made the decision I did, it’s been such a nice break so far, so please don’t feel this rush to do a masters, if you need some time out for your mental health, do it! You won’t regret prioritising your happiness ❤️
I want to go solo travelling late next year to Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. To get comfortable with travelling on my own I’ve travelled to different European cities this year and stayed in Hostels to get used to the whole thing and it’s the best thing I’ve done. Most other people in the hostels i met were friendly and down to spend the day together exploring the place as there normally in the exact same position as you solo travelling. I found Copenhagen a good place to start as its one of the safest cities to visit with some great hostels. Also I’m loving these kind of videos and so happy your back :)
