Not that surprising honestly. When I was in the military around 2018, the ERP type systems that we used looked not too dissimilar to a control prompt interface. When I was overseas in 2018 we got new computers. Went from XP to windows 7 (our programs were still in 80s looking neon green on black interface though 😅.) Didn't bother me since I like that kind of aesthetic, but the younger soldiers in my squad were pretty disappointed since they imagined our systems to look more like the stuff you see in the movies with the flashy graphical user interfaces.
To be fair, if you're gonna use Windohs, XP is still one of the more reliable versions. They're all sh it and anything important should probably be on Unix or Linux, but if you want to make sure it works when it's needed, XP is better than Windohs 10 ambushing you with an update whenever it feels like it.

I used to think usa had stricter laws than Europe and therefore USA was more protected. But I have changed my mind, when I saw black lives matters raiding cities I realized USA is as bad as Europe.

Hhmmm, if just one of the 400 cops attending the Uvalde school had a small ballistic shield maybe the cops could have saved the lives of some of the children and their teachers.
These cops weren't afraid to help one of their own while being in potential danger, it's amazing how they summoned up the courage when another cop is involved, yet no one could find the same courage to save innocent children from being slaughtered.

Not that surprising honestly. When I was in the military around 2018, the ERP type systems that we used looked not too dissimilar to a control prompt interface. When I was overseas in 2018 we got new computers. Went from XP to windows 7 (our programs were still in 80s looking neon green on black interface though 😅.) Didn't bother me since I like that kind of aesthetic, but the younger soldiers in my squad were pretty disappointed since they imagined our systems to look more like the stuff you see in the movies with the flashy graphical user interfaces.
To be fair, if you're gonna use Windohs, XP is still one of the more reliable versions.
They're all sh it and anything important should probably be on Unix or Linux, but if you want to make sure it works when it's needed, XP is better than Windohs 10 ambushing you with an update whenever it feels like it.
