I use clear polygel or builder gel to fix my back glass when I break it.
Yes, the same builder gel and polygel I use to do my nails...
That stuff is STRONG and lasts for months.
I use it to fill in the holes, and it keeps the glass from breaking further. Plus I can use my nail drill to shape the gel so it looks & feels almost normal. You can barely tell it was broken...

@@approvise I think it's more for uniformity. Other plastic screens aren't very smooth, they get kinked and bumpy all over. This thing feels completely flat because it's basically laminated glass. Idk. I'd rather there be no glass so I didn't have to worry so much, but it does feel good.

Hello man, just wanna ask, what can I do to my ipad mini that won’t turn on.. I didn’t know what happened.. I didn’t use it for like 9-12months and then when I came back to check it out, it just won’t turn on, I tried everything youtube tells me to do😂 And even went to a repair shop and they told me the screen is too “dry” (I don’t know man, that’s what they said HAHAHAHA) that’s why they can’t open it.

It looks like he somehow bent that screen protector because he put it over the buttons which are on the side of the phone. As far as I know glass can't bend.
Well maybe this wouldn't have happened if the back of it was made with plastic plus it would feel better in the hand.

Last year my oppo Ax7 fell out of my camp bag and as I was looking for it my hiking boot put full pressure on it on accident. It had a case but the case had bent. Surprisingly only 2 small cracks on the back and a small scratch on the front screen

Honestly a $20 heat gun from Amazon and some aftermarket replacements from around the web have always done me fine. Most people don't even like back glass and are perfectly fine with it being replaced with a cheaper plastic aftermarket backing especially since almost everyone nowadays just covers their stuff with a case anyways
Glass backing on phones is always kind of iffy anyways. I and a few people I know have had similar experiences where temperature or humidity or whatever alone have just shattered it while the phone sat harmlessly on someone's counter or desk overnight.

I wish I understood the need for glass on the back of the phone to begin with..
Anodised titanium alloy would be strong & feather light. I doubt the cost would be more to manufacture at scale, maybe less.
Most people I know use a case on their phone, so does anyone really care about looks for the phone back over practicality ? 🤔
I just buy a back glass for my phone when it breaks it doesn't cost a original Samsung cover is around 20-30 bucks and its easy heat up the back and remove the adhesive with a pick put a new seal on and the new backcover all done in 10 minutes max
Three things to say
1) Personally I don't buy glass back phones for this exact reason ( wireless charging is garbage so don't say that)
2) looks kinda cool I'd use that but a lot of people would rather not have it in shambles
3) I still don't get why people don't put a case on their phone

The backglass of my S7 is broken and I didn't even notice for I don't know how long because I have it in a case. There's exactly 0 difference for me.

Hey I have a question, on my iPhone 12 Pro on the left side, the whole side of the phone gets hot mostly where the volume buttons are, it doesn’t get badly hot just warm and it just caught my curiosity.

I had the same problem a year ago. But instead of this I just bought a dbrand skin for the back of my phone. Ended up pretty well
Or just get one the same color as the back of your phone and you don’t even see the cracks like the clear one you just put on. Might fall that carrier you’re with if you want to trade it in. 😂
