I have SUCH a hard time letting something sit for 24 hours when I’m excited about it and really into it. Having more than one project at the same time can get overwhelming for me, because then I end up like Al and have a lot of half built projects (though I admit his half built projects are bad ass). Hand painting has always been something I prefer and understand differently because I’ve been hand painting models for years for DND, I have some projects I’m saving for the airbrush but I love love hand painting! Details make me happy.
I know, my brain can’t handle two things at the same time, like walking and chewing gum! I’m going to wade slowly into trying to take on two projects at the same time. I’m such a n00b when it comes to hand painting but I’m not gonna let it slow me down, do it badly!
Zip zip that sizzurp! I’m also looking into moving some of the basics to airbrush-ready products to speed things up, namely some primers that are ready out of the bottle.
Digging the ground type mobile suits! Fun fact, my training troop (E 5/15) was (we were told) the last troop of Cavalry Scouts trained using the 113 which effectively made me a Charlie In The Box.
Thanks, I can’t wait to get to work on them soon! I’m looking forward to the weathering phase where I can break out the oils and pigments! That’s very cool, you’ll have to report back to me if I did the 113 justice.

The badger mixer is the way to go especially if you use Tamiya acrylics. No more He-maning the bottles open lol.

Very cool - love the X-29! Looking forward to the MSG dio too.
Jon Bius thanks! I had little idea of all the work you aircraft modelers put in to these builds!
@@machomodelz3954 Sometimes the assembly and surface prep work is the majority of the process!
