- Hey guys its XpliciRider here back with my promised video on the new mods i would get! Yes it took me a year but i had been moving around and finally settled down for now so will be kickstarting my channel soon with awesome ninja rides! So stay tuned HOMIES AND HOMMETTES! Hey cool gauge, question did you do any mods to the wiring? Was it just plug and play? Also did you replace the meter cover?
Dude, that bike is nasty. I'm gonna be getting a 2009 Ninja next month and I have some of the same ideas as you've done to yours.
That exhaust....that's mean. That bad boy talks to you som'n fierce! How much was the dash kit? Did you do all the work yourself, or have a dealership install it for you?

How did you make up for the space when you changed your speedometer
It comes with the black case that takes up the space 👌
@@TomiNatrixM8 o I see was wondering cause I jus got a new one and it looks tiny compared to the stock one and the was no back plate with my new one
I'm honestly concerned that I wont be able to swap speedometer cause of how small it is compared to the stock

ajpointzero they are great bikes go for super cheap now but if you can afford little more get the 300 it is a massive improvement overall and still pretty cheap for older models. Check the videos of my old one its great

Check out my recent video where i talk about if a 300cc engine bike is enough for more detail but since u asked about the 250r then the quick answer is yeah its enough for a beginner anf it will take about a year or more to really learn to ride it to its full potential but many factors like ur weight,height, prior experience, and location will affect how quick u get 'bored' of the power. inbox me for details :)
nice speedometer man i was looking into it but ill see if ima keep my 250r for one summer or 2 if i decide to wait 2 years to get a gsxr 600 ill get one like yours for my 250r looks great man.
How did you get the gauges to fit? Where can I find them at? Nice bike!
Thanks bro i love it, love looking at it every time i get on specially at night looks beast! Loudest exhaust for it haha. The dash kit was around 350 all up from ebay. Yeah me and a mate installed it in about 2 hours at his garage maybe 3 while having a few beers. There is a video on youtube with instruction we just used that haha.

First off, great vids, love the 250 you got there! I'm looking for a bike at this moment, and have been thinking a lot on a 250 aswell. Im afraid its just not enough power. Do you ever feel like you lack.. some more? I know you got the 300 now, but does it do a great different?

I just got my bike 2 weeks ago 09 250 in trying to restore it little by little. The previews owner had it sitting outside. So it's kind la rusty. Was it worth it go from a 250 to a 300?
to be honest i think it does breathe better because the fumes basicaly come straight out since its just a open pipe however make sure you get it jetted properly at the bike shop after you install it because you will lose back pressure and lose power down low when you should actually gain power at the lower end thanks to the exhaust. I know because thats what mine is like since i have not booked it it to get jetted yet cus i have no money haha
yeah man but if u will have your bike for a year or more it is so worth it and u can bump up the sales price later for having it as well :) like i did but it was sad to see her go!
I have a question about your exhaust....does it make your bike breathe better, or is it just for sound? I think I'll follow the same instructional you did for the dash kit once I get mine. Can't wait....
Well, let me pass the motorcycle safety course first...lol. The bike is gonna sit in my garage until I pass, but at least I'll have it and be ready to ride once it's done.
Job well done though man, I'm jealous over here. LOL.
Beautiful bike man and is that a growler exhaust? & jonas I woukd recommend the ninja 300 great for beginners and still has enough power for experienced riders the mpg is better then the 250 and it has more power so just look into the 300 a little bit I'm sure you will like it I'm getting mine this summer after all the research i did I was convinced

yeah good idea cus i upgraded to a 300 now and it has a digital speedo so no point in upgrading!
how had was it to install that display and does it show gas gauge and have a clock on it and where u get that rear tail light

yeah i love the 300 man its a great bike will have it for the next year and a half at least before i upgrade to my first super sport hopefully have the money then to be able to keep my 300 otherwise i will sell her in order to upgrade
