Granblue Fantasy Kengo Water Grid Guide

- This Kengo water grid mainly focuses on three things- CA damage, CA damage cap, and charge bar gain. Basically, you will need two to three blue spheres and one to three Tyros Zithers for this grid to work. Each copy of Blue Sphere increases your CA damage by 9.5% and CA damage cap by 5%, while each copy of Zither increases both CA damage and CA damage cap by 9.5%.
However, because the maximum boost for same type of Sentence skill (chain attack damage up) is capped at 30%, so we will need to increase both Tsunami sentence skill and Elizi sentence skill together, to push the total CA damage cap bonus to 50%, 60% or even 75%, if you are also using Dark Opus or Ultima weapon, in order for you to deal as much damage as possible.

I was curious about this, since I always see tons of water kengos in raids, but didn't know the "correct" way to use it, such as grids and combos. I also didn't know the math behind it, so your grid actually makes more sense than most I've seen around.

Pretty much how Aquatic powerhouse of Water Kango CA-er wield are these grid more or less.
My water grid are trash(Compose with 4 daggers (no *4 LB) 2 Xeno and 3 utility gear(baha, atma, Seraph) but my units are pretty decent, I manage to pull one turn x4 CA by MC alone by standard Murakumo with at least 3m each hit(assuming to be capped out) along with Euro sum(non-LB) and support Bonito. I know it sound trashy to be brag but I damn proud on what I can pull off from my Kengo.
Really, there are many ways you can play each class not just meta based, only matter is will, you find a way to put then to use that suit your style or not. Not gonna lies that seeing too much this kind of powerhouse play and guide can discourage you with many fact and reality, namely luck-gate and time-gate which vary differently on each people, find you own pace and play style is best for us to enjoy this game, just like how Koon said :D
if possible I would love a video of possible grids light, I just do not know what to do to damage this element

So water doctor?
That's only for the super ultra 5+ million ougis every time, Kengo works as a f2p player if you just run magna with 2-3 europa harps. Ougis still do lots of damage, just not quite as much as this grid
3 drang balls is use if you go primal use 1~2 drang balls for magna
As someone that runs kengo in a grid with no cap up aside from dark opus, its still possible to do 3-4m ougis since you can get cap ups from CCW stacking buff, vajra passive, pholia s2, and summer grea s2.
Well i play f2p without those chara and still deal 3~4mil damage basic m1 grid and opus and seraphic

Here I am playing for 3 years and the only grand weapon I got is 2 Murgleis,2 Blutgang and 3 weapon for Zephyros grid(meh). Uncapping murgleis a week before rise of Bonito is still haunt me to this day. Now I just go Magna 2 water staff.

I'm currently gathering for my monkey spark and after that, another spark for the most drang balls possibly, except for doggo I do not have core CA chara buff , like Pholia, S.Grea and possibly Sandal Summer
would it still be feasible to do it with chars like lily, aglovale, etc?
It's going to be a bit tough, due to these characters' nature. Europa x Varuna grid is good too, maybe you can give it a try?

Does seraphic weapon/summon and damage cap up weapon/summon (like xuanwu mace) plays any effect to CA Damage Cap ??
I read from some sources those things would effect on the CA Damage Cap modifier. Just want to clarify tho...
Xuanwu mace has 7% increase on dmg cap if I'm not mistaken.
I know this is a old video, but isn't murgleis a Sabre that kengo can't use or is used for the grid and not mh?
The real problem with kengo meme is you need sgrea and/or dog, both of which are severely timegated.
You can have 3 balls but you still can lose to a levi grid if you don't have either of them.

that's not what timegated means lol. Pretty sure you just mean they are limited.
To each his own opinion, but for me, a character that disappears for an entire year and another that only appears once every 6 months is pretty timegated.

Water kengo is also used for racing mvp Normal Faa-san and Ubaha, not just GW race, so its worthy investation

Yes Dicky, Vajra is a bless for Kengo team, you would love her more and more as your enhance your weapon grid. She is definitely one of the best charas for Kengo class.
@@CrusaderKoon thank you, now i've finished the 5* Unsigned kaneshige, and as you said, i really really love Vajra, with basic dagger grid, i can even reach up to 15M damage (with alittle bit luck on kengo skill management i can get 3 ougi in a turn)
Hey Koon, I play this game quite long time and there have many thing I want to ask but don't know who to ask. Recently my Wind, water and light grid can barely to play in certain raid while the other grid is no good. Thing like I'm lucky to get a 1 copy of grand series weapon, if it not fully uncap it can make anything use full to your grid. For example: 1 Murgleis lv 10 skill without fully uncap can't surpass 1 Auberon lv 10 skill that haven't uncap yet. I know I can use Damacus Ignot to uncap it but I need an advice to uncap it wisely. What I need to do?
Murgleis, I personally don't think it is necessary if you are not using Varuna. It has no place in a Kengo grid, so if you want to go Kengo, there is no need for you to uncap it. However, if you are running double varuna, and you are playing staff or focusing on normal attack, murgleis could be quite helpful. It's a good raid weapon too, 30% dmg reduction everytime you ougi.
I'm currently using Nekomancer. I have unlocked Kengo, but I realize that my grid is not fit for that high class, just play for fun. I do consider unlock Spartan class since required most for high level raids.
Koon do you have any tips to play gbf in a more efficient way?

For mid-tier and high-tier players, do not forget to:
1. Clean up Arcarum tickets, don't forget to clean them any single day.
2. Clean up Maniac showdowns, primarchs, and Campaigns in Special Quests.
3. Clean up event missions, gather resources (such like playing any quests they have or you can, cleaning up first 4 drawing box, or picking up event weapons, summons, Elixirs, Soul Berries, Damascus Crystals, and Steel Bricks).

I believe its 'Chain Force' skill is the same with Dark Opus and Omega/ultima type weapons, so they can't stack. System will give priority to the one with the highest CA dmg cap %.
Will you make a video for fire? And I want to ask you my front team in fire is athena + anila + shiva ( spear team) and I have esser lvl 100 (tain) , I am thinking of going with rune slayer class but because of main hand wepon not spear I am thinking of playing asparas, but I fear for health sustain so I thought laso for spartan and sage as these classes have spear as main hand, any advice for this?

Murgleis is a Sabre not a katana. I'm guessing 8-life katana for for OTK as well if one can afford it.
My mistake! I was thinking of other classes like Chrysoar when I was recording the video, should have explained the idea in a more detailed way. Thanks for pointing this out. :D
And GW Katana actually works! Cause I used to use it as my main weapon before the class champion weapon. Reduce skill turn and charge bar boost are awesome.

Nice character lineup there. If your weapon grid is good, you can basically go with any other classes, not just Kengo :)
Usually I see people going for water Warlock with Pholia, Lily/Europa, and S. Cagliostro. Seems like a good build.

200k should be fine, it can hit up to 20million with a single click.

It works too, but the skill effect from blue sphere will be much lower compared with Bonito x Varuna.

You can, but the result would be less desirable. Try 3 harps first + 1 blue sphere, it shouldn't be too bad.

Actually, I found out that 5 Tyroses can achieve almost the same damage as 3 BS + 3 Tyroses can do, and it is totally no-price. The only thing you have to do is spending your soul with grinding.
But still, I'm using free Varuna build, even the water M2 performs better.
5 Europa harps physically can't hit as high as 3 Drang Balls + 3 Harps can, because of the way CA cap works. Each type of cap up has a cap of 30%, which means Omega cap up maxes at 30%, primal sentence maxes at 30%, and excelsior caps at 30%, for a cap of 60% total.
This means that even if you had an entire grid of Europa harps, their cap up would only reach 30% up, rather than the 60% from 3 BS + 3 Europa Harps.

if you didn't get dragonball then using fimbull untill you get coz a lot of damage / life pool but lack of some CA damage & cap
i'm using unsigned kaneshige (MH) / 2 fimbul / ultima kanata (CB Cap) / dark opus (ca cap) / murg / 2 europa harp / xeno staff and wand of gabriel
is fine to use this untill you get like 2 - 3 dragonball
Ps.ultima kanata with multi attack just change to big boost to attack base on how high hp and no seraphic 4 star uncap yet
