I decided to make this since every other grid guide on youtube is about three years old and doesn't cover everything. I didn't cover everything either but honestly I think the video is already too long.
I wrote this script about nine months ago and then didn't do anything until now so if I missed something throw it into the comments.
I'll continue this 'series' if there's interest. I do want to cover the evokers now that all of their FLBs have come out.

Edit: I took so long making the video that they buffed world weapons, added celestial weapons and updated the draconics. All of these fit into the guide thankfully, but I'll make an addendum for Opus 250 after we have all the information. I'll do my best to be timely on this one.

Tbh compared to other gacha games, in Granblue Fantasy your weapon grid & main/sub summon is WAY more important than which character you use. The most important thing to consider is to ALWAYS bring someone that can reduce the def & atk of enemies, be it other character or the MC with appropriate class. The rest is up to you.

@@vaugesthank3312 if you google 'gbf wiki ssr tier list' you can get a general sense of what characters are decent and which are less desirable. (if you hover over each character it gives a description/summary of their pros and cons)
You should eventually try to think of what characters you like, and try to find synergy if possible (characters and weapons that lean towards just attacking, using a lot of damage skills, charge attacks etc.), and then build towards that goal.
Imho it's more fun to use the characters you like/enjoy, instead of just following the meta, but having a few powerful characters can help a lot too.
I would also recommend you shoot for the dark fencer/chaos ruler class, then the spartan/paladin class for harder stuff later. Gladiator and Chrysaor are really fun damage classes too. The dark fencer is an awesome class for newer players though, imho. (good debuffs, miserable mist that you can use on any other class, and the chaos ruler is a nice upgrade to that later, imho).
The GBF wiki’s character tier list does a good job summarizing what a character can do when you hover over their portrait. Ignore the ratings and just focus on what you want your party to revolve around(skill damage, normal damage, etc.) and you can put together a team that works well enough

I got so lost, during the "Bringing it all Together" section lol...what's a clam weapon? What if you have no idea what you're doing and you just put in a bunch of Normals and a stamina skill weap, hoping you'll do better than your previous magna grid?
Clam is a shorthand for Claíomh Solais Díon which is frequently used because the full name is a bit of a mouthful to say. If you're not sure what you're doing it's perfectly okay to copy grids from other players, it's a very common practice. The main benefit to knowing how to build your own grid is allowing you into content with specifically the resources on your account instead of trying to match someone who might be overgeared or who has a different team comp than you.
If you're looking to just copy grids, the wiki has a page where wiki moderators post their setups. They're not necessarily the most up to date especially for older content (you'd want to look around on youtube for that) but they will certainly let you clear.

what is additional weapon ?
If you're taking about what I think you are, those are Extra Weapon Slots that are unlocked from Arcarum Sandbox. Only some content uses these Extra Slots, those being sandbox and endgame raids from Super Ultimate Bahamut onwards. Only certain weapons can be put into these weapon slots so they are more limited but are definitely worth unlocking before going into endgame content.

Yeah, I used AI for the voice since it's hard to get a recording without annoying amounts of background noise in my area. I specifically used Natural Readers (and worked around their daily limit of however many words they give you).
The reason I gave up playing(20hrs of playtime) GBF even if I want to learn it's that there's too much to do and the game(2014) doesn't even have a dedicated app after 10 yrs and the so called app is still just a browser you need to scroll down or so.
That's definitely a shame. For me personally, there being a bunch to do means that even after playing the game for far too long means I still have goals to work towards, something I can't say for other games in the genre.
The app is definitely not ideal, just using a normal browser (or Skyleap for mobile) is what I would recommend. Unfortunately a lot of people (understandably) fall into the idea that the game is an application, which it most assuredly isn't.
