Unbelievably amazing face melting experience. This time last week I had never even heard of Cory Wong. Someone offered to take me and even pay for my ticket. I'm glad I went. I'm beyond words blown away by this.
Cory is a part of/involved with another band called Vulfpeck if you are into what you heard! Glad you had a good time! *just love sharing music lol, have a good one!
Truly an amazing musical experience. So happy that my wife and I got to see this live! You all slayed!! The Wongair team is at the peak of this game!. Words can't truly describe how tasty this mix is. Cory, you and your Crew are just amazing. And what a treat to have Mark Lettieri along for this ride!!! Thank you all!
This is truly amazing!!!! Hey Cory I think you and your whole band should do a track on the Bond movie...or big spy film...like mission impossible...or similar...this sort of driving punchy funk would be good for car chases, gun fights anything really...even epic sky diving fights!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was at this last night. Just an incredible display of musicianship. 10/10. Best rendition of Merci I've seen you do, and the new songs absolutely hit and delivered. Made me like a Paramore song for the first time, too.
I attended this show with my son! My first live experience with this band. Loved every second. After watching this band on UA-cam many times and now seeing them live, this is now officially my favorite band PERIOD! I want more please!
The Assassin and Grid Generation finishers after the Wongair segment were so amazing!! I'd always wished that I would be able to hear them live, and this was a great surprise. Thanks for the awesome night, band!❤
As they are still figuring out Marks role, I think it would be nice if he underlined the rock character of grid generation. 1:37:12 Don't wanna say power chords but something like that
🔥🔥🔥 mix was pretty good. The hd console doing the job. Feel like the ride cymbal could use its own mic tho. Everything else is solid. Can’t wait to hear more.
I'm really hoping to see you and Mark do a version of Massive at some point... He's definitely got the chops and creativity to fill Mr Satriani's shoes
lol i *knew* the pre-show song sounded like Louis Cole or KNOWER 😄😄 But yeah, the song before everyone comes on stage is "When You're Ugly" by Louis Cole.
How do you start a band like this?? I have trouble getting 3 people together? First time I watched a show of the band on UA-cam, it was the Minneapolis show of a couple years ago and it was about 45 minutes in that I realized there was no singer!! Great great band!
why is the mix different for this, can't hear the bass that much, i cant even hear Mark's Baritone. there's something wrong with the compression on this one
Cory, if you're out there reading comments, I was at the show last night and it was awesome. But if I may respectfully offer some feedback, the kick drum was much too loud and due to the sheer volume it reverberated quite a bit and muddied out a lot of what the bass and guitars were doing. Couch had a similar issue to an even greater extent. Best of luck on tour and I hope to see you and the band again soon!
Is it now? I thought he has one Dumble at least for four years. And even some of his amp sims are based on dumble, presumably... But I might be wong :)))
