C D There are others with just as insane genetics but don’t take as much PEDs as he does, he’s one that is always blasting, probably why Thor got with him, to find out Larry’s magic stack
I have a question, if you go any lower (say to your chest) isn’t that just a glorified incline chest press? Given that the seat position is straight up and down, any arching of that back, leaning back, is basically cheating the shoulder press and you are more or less using chest to get it up. So I actually think this rep counts as a full rep in my opinion. At least for a shoulder press.
No need to be that strong if you aren’t competing in strongman or moving furnitures. Just be strong enough and look decent. You can also be more athletic too.
Bud, less height would actually be beneficial for these lifts as you'd have less ROM. Larry is just monstrous, most men even on PEDs will never be as strong as Larry p4p.
Being short ain't really a limiting factor. What's stopping people from doing this is that Larry is just fucking built different. His muscle fibers must have like extra density or something.
@@AbdulAli786o depends on the movement, but very true, most lifts are easiere if you have shoter limbs. the only notable exception being deadlifts. mechanically favours longer limbs, especially if you lift sumo
I wonder if these guys early training days they trained hard (like powerlifting programs, etc) to get those numbers or just threw some plates after some sessions and discovered they were strong as hell
I hope that all of us watching these, can actually realize that we can not even hold that much weight overhead, let alone doing a repetition🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Fuck, that’s actually pretty hard with the half weight only..
Ya. I used to hit 205x4 on this exercise, going down a lot further of course and it was hard as hell. I weighed between 175-185 then, of course no PEDs. Never seen anyone do more than 315 in person.
💯 percent I did 270 in my prime and I'm amazed at this....all the years I've been jn the gym never saw anyone do this. Very few can do this on incline bench even
Yeah.......can you do that? You couldn't even hold that weight above your head, never mind think of pressing it. Don't have such a big mouth unless you can back it up.
I was 16 years of age and benching 315lbs 5 times. And nothing hurt back then. Now, once I go back to that weight I'm still able to lift it 8 times, but man it feels like tearing everything inside my muscles. Elbows and shoulders fucking hurt. Wish I can go back to those good old days. I was naturally strong.
@@forsberg9425 not true. I was literally that strong at that age. I didn't spend months or years trying to reach 315lbs. No joke. I litteraly went into the bench and. Picked that up.

if only those people that only saw the standing 405 from last week knew you were already doing this at 19
yer but standing is a lot harder than seated and he's doing full ROM now. He did seated 405 x8 full ROM just after his standing press too.
