Absolutely loving this Clone Wars "Did You Know" series. I know people say this often but you really are the best star wars channel, thank you once again for bringing us such delightful information!
Based Knopfler I doubt we will ever see the Clone Wars as a series, unfortunately. Too many complications. HOWEVER, my dream is that we will eventually see The Siege of Mandalore as an animated movie. Maybe after Rebels is over, theyll release the movie and then begin a new seies!
One thing I noticed that wasn't in this. When Obi Wan first meets Quinlan Vos and expresses his skepticism about how he jumps down from the ship like he's showing off, Quinlan just says "That's your opinion Man" which I thought was a reference to the big lebowski.
Ive found a very secret and hidden forshadowing/easter egg in the mortis episodes. When the son kidnaps Ashoka from the ship and brings her to his tower, he shapeshifts into some creature. This is when the son says "The chains are the easy part. Its what goes on it here (pointing to his head) thats hard". Which is exactly what Maul says to Savage when savage finds him. This easter egg is so hidden, that im pretty sure im one of the only people in the world who have noticed it, well, not anymore i guess.
1:21 - 1:30. Yes. That's exactly the pressing question that was on our minds and we demanded answers to. Thank goodness we got a full episode to explain it.
ΝΙΚΟΣ ΝΙΚΟΣ Star Wars the Clone Wars is my favorite show of all time, and I am bummed they did not finnish the series, but I am satisfied with the end of Season 5. People need to stop trying bring back the show, let it rest in pease.
Miitchell Whitmer Yeah but there are a lot of unfinished episodes that would have been awesome. First, there was an episode in which Boba and Cad Bane having a stand off and explains why boba has a dent in his helmet Another episodes has Echo survive but kept captive by Wat Tambor but eventually Echo is rescued and another episode has him trying to help Anakin take out trench even though Echo is severely damaged from season 3 Wouldn't you want to see these episodes, if only star wars rebels could use these episode ideas in that show
So many references to other series/movies/franchises. That's actually pretty sweet! Could you do a video on the timeline of the Clone Wars? So place each episode into chronological order?
I guess I'm the only trekkie on this channel so the only one noticed that the dogs at the citadel were nearly entire copies of the ones the klingons used on the prison planet in Star Trek 6
Also, Baron Papanoida is supposed to be voiced by an Orson Welles style voice. One of the many references to classic actors in Clone Wars and Rebels. Just like how Tan Divo is based on Peter Lorre or Gall Trayvis is based on David Niven.
"Commander Colt" is a not-so-subtle reference to Colt Manufacturing's firearms, which were extremely popular in the old west and with the western heroes Lucas loved.
Despite my awareness of TCW with its pros and cons embedded, it'll continue being my most favorite show as I grow old. Also, I never knew the plot of Padawan Lost and Wookiee Hunt was inspired by The Most Dangerous Game. That was a book my English class practically read once. Who knew?! ⁉️😃📚📖 Cool fact video, Alex!! 👍☺🌠
Also in the Citadel episode when everbody is getting ready to be frozen and Fives says "I don't wanna end up a wall decoration." Is a nod to Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back where he is also frozen by Anakin now Darth Vader.
A2TheMuz Gaming Star Wars the Clone Wars is my favorite show of all time, and I am bummed they did not finnish the series, but I am satisfied with the end of Season 5. People need to stop trying bring back the show, let it rest in pease.
Exile Studios If Disney did not have rights to the show, they would not be allowed to use characters from the show..... The Clone Wars was cannceled due to legal issues between Cartoon Network and Disney: CN did not want to air a Disney propery and Disney did not want to air a show that started on Cartoon Network. Rebels was created as a show that was kid friendly enough to air on Disney XD.
I like how the image of Ventress in her classic outfit was from when she was rolling her eyes backwards in a way that looks like the original appearence.
What if Commander Thorn would not have died? Would Fox still have been able to shhot Fives, or would Thorn have stunned him and thus making sure that Fives could tell his whole story?
Fun fact: the daughter is voiced by Adrienne Wilkinson who voiced Maris Brood from TFU and the father is voiced by Lloyd Sherr of modern marvels fame and is also the voice of Calo Nord from KOTOR
You said that a dance number was inspired by the opening of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. One thing I would add is that the club that takes place in is called Club Obi-Wan.
When I was watching that dancing scene for the Hutts I told myself "Damn, thats like a Star Wars version of that song from Indiana Jones". Well what do you know.
Hey Star Wars Explained. Could you possibly do a side series where you go over both the legends and canon history of famous places, such as Yavin and Galactic City and so on? Thanks for the great content! Keep up the amazing work!
You missed the fact that the Trandoshan the last episodes are wielding Trandoshan shock blasters that were blasters meant to be reminiscent of 'slug throwers' which were originally introduced in Republic Commando (and which Battlefront 2015 just said 'screw it' and made slug throwers anyway, despite their canon function as blasters) as well as Old Republic Blaster Pistols from Knights of the Old Republic.
I didn't notice Savage's armour was Roman inspired, nice nod, and KB - 24. Not a sports guy but the balance between 'nerdy' pastimes and athletic interests with an equal vigour should be encouraged
You forgot to mention that the Hutt with the mustache is an obvious easter egg and reference to Don Vito Carlioni from the Godfather series. The Hutt literally looks like him.
I'd wager that the names of Osi Sobeck and the anoobas are pulled from Egyptian mythology. Sobek being a deity associated with Nile crocodiles and often depicted as a crocodile or a human with a croc head (reptilian Phinidian) and Anubis being a deity depicted as a dog or a human with a canine head (with unusually tall ears).
I don't remember if it was season 2 or 3 but Bail Organa (spell check) said Help me Obi Wan Kenobi your my only hope to Kenobi himself as Leia said that message in a hologram meant for Kenobi
Man I was so glad when they finally removed those gorgets and shoulder pads from Obi-Wan and Anakin... it's not that they were bad designs, but they just seemed to wear them ev-er-y-whe-re. Ugh. So glad :P
I feel like the first thing you said is incredibly obvious. It's like saying 'Did you know, that Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace was a prequel to the original star wars films?'
season 3 is when i payed most attention, oh and you left out one thing, its minor, Christopher Lee also voices dooku in the Star Wars The Clone Wars Animated Movie
Hold on. I know Clone Wars episodes are sometimes jumbled up, but in Heroes on both sides, which was in season 3, Ahsoka has her new outfit but in the episode following that one, Onaconda Farr is alive, though he died in season 2.
I really enjoyed the finale to this season! The Mortis trilogy was so surreal. The Ventress episodes were so dark and thrilling. I was wondering why that droid was that colour lmao, R.I.L Kobe Bryant. Next up Season 4...
Lucas & Filoni: "Sith can't be Force Ghosts." Darth Vitiate, Revan (SWTOR a year or so later), Ajunta Pall (in 2003, I might add), Aloysious Kallig, Marka Ragnos and Exar Kun object on grounds of heresy and willful defamation.
Bailey Bradley I know. Just pointing out how if L&F had done their homework at the time, it wouldn't be as much of an issue then as it was. Wookieepedia exists for this sole reason.
Harrison Dansie Yeah but even before the Disney buyout, Lucas had different canon levels. He never seemed to like the aspect of those who follow the dark side being able to reach immortality via Force Ghosts. Seeing how Force Ghosts were supposed to be the epitome of the light side.
Absolutely loving this Clone Wars "Did You Know" series. I know people say this often but you really are the best star wars channel, thank you once again for bringing us such delightful information!
Wish we'd seen Ventress' Ginivex Fanblade a little more often in TCW, it's a really cool design.
I hope we see a return of clone wars some day
It really deserves a proper send off
it would be nice to get at least one season following post-Order 66 events
Based Knopfler Ahsoka novel and Rebels.
It's better if it's told in Cartoon form & not some book.
Conrado Javier Well, it wasn't.
Is anything known about Ima-gun Di, because I would love to see a vid about him
watch ishi tib eats glass on UA-cam today!
Mic Clank
what?
TK- 713 dude it's just a joke!
TK- 713 i did stop.
Mic Clank
You might have stopped now, but why start?
Jippie! Clone Wars! May the force be with you all!
Obi-Wan Kenobi hello there
Obi-Wan Kenobi that was a good time
Hello there
I love how at this point almost every Indiana Jones Mcguffin has been hidden somewhere in these shows
One thing I noticed that wasn't in this.

Just watching this after Kobe died 2 days ago and seeing the tactical droid reference to him😢
Lmao
it's so nice to know that dave made delta squad canon. that was the greatest easter egg in seasons 1-3
I just wish they got their own episode. Would've been cool to hear Dee Bradley Baker's interpretation of each Delta.
1:21 - 1:30. Yes. That's exactly the pressing question that was on our minds and we demanded answers to. Thank goodness we got a full episode to explain it.
I think it's really cool that Liam came back to voice Jinn, and that Starkiller's voice actor voices people
Save the clone wars save the dream

if u didnt know already if u search the chronology u can see lucasfilm's timeline
I'd like to see a video on it, rather than read it. I think that would be more interesting and entertaining for this subject
8:29 rip
Kobe's Tactical droid hits different now...
A LAKERS DROID!? THIS IS THE VIDEO I'VE SEEN
RIP Sir Christopher Lee. You were the most metal old man to walk with such class.
I cant believe how close we were to having Revan being saved and canonized
6:34 You can hear Metatron ranting in the background .
I guess I'm the only trekkie on this channel so the only one noticed that the dogs at the citadel were nearly entire copies of the ones the klingons used on the prison planet in Star Trek 6
6:45 Is it Omega Squad or Delta Squad??(Look at the narrations)
Marvin Kwok it's Delta Squad if I remember correctly
Delta Squad
delta
Vode An
It's not omega squad it's delta squad
Also, Baron Papanoida is supposed to be voiced by an Orson Welles style voice. One of the many references to classic actors in Clone Wars and Rebels. Just like how Tan Divo is based on Peter Lorre or Gall Trayvis is based on David Niven.
6:56 Good, Dooku, good. Kill him. Kill him now.
It's not the Sith wa - oh wait, it IS the Sith way.
I must say Season 3 is my favorite of all the Clone Wars seasons!
Lol season 3 was my least favorite. What did you like about season 3?
Season 5 is my favorite, between Maul and Ahsoka.
This was one of my favorite seasons. I hope we see echo return and some references to Mortis in future canon material. Or abeloth. I miss those books
And Echo would return in Season 7 of The Clone Wars, who would’ve thought?
I loved this season so much. Especially the mandalore episodes.
Season 3 was soooo good!! On par with 4, 5,and 6, but the nostalgia makes it my fave!
"Commander Colt" is a not-so-subtle reference to Colt Manufacturing's firearms, which were extremely popular in the old west and with the western heroes Lucas loved.
The existence of Kobe Droid just feels odd now.
Despite my awareness of TCW with its pros and cons embedded, it'll continue being my most favorite show as I grow old. Also, I never knew the plot of Padawan Lost and Wookiee Hunt was inspired by The Most Dangerous Game. That was a book my English class practically read once. Who knew?! ⁉️😃📚📖
Cool fact video, Alex!! 👍☺🌠
The title “Heroes on Both Sides” is a callback to a line in the opening crawl in ROTS that reads “There are heroes on both sides.”
Also in the Citadel episode when everbody is getting ready to be frozen and Fives says "I don't wanna end up a wall decoration." Is a nod to Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back where he is also frozen by Anakin now Darth Vader.
I love these clone wars Easter eggs videos on this channel!!!

Let the past die, kill it if you have to..
A2 Playz
Done and done
I like how the image of Ventress in her classic outfit was from when she was rolling her eyes backwards in a way that looks like the original appearence.
What if Commander Thorn would not have died? Would Fox still have been able to shhot Fives, or would Thorn have stunned him and thus making sure that Fives could tell his whole story?
You mean different? I know that, but if Thorn didn't die, Fox wouldn't have been in command while trying to catch Fives
I just realized in that shot of broken 3po one of the things hanging on the wall in those things you play a ball game with repainted.
Tantive IV - "Tantavee" or "Tan-tiv?" I've always pronounced it the second way, assuming a silent E.
The castle in the Mortis episodes looks like darth Vader’s castle so technically he is living up to his prophecy of becoming the ruler
Fun fact: the daughter is voiced by Adrienne Wilkinson who voiced Maris Brood from TFU and the father is voiced by Lloyd Sherr of modern marvels fame and is also the voice of Calo Nord from KOTOR

2:28
2 tomatoes
3 minecraft logs
and what? 2 or 3 cantaloupe things?
seems like a good lunch to me
Love these videos, just general Star Wars knowledge
I love these videos in particular! Keep doin them! I live in Georgia too lol
8:30 RIP KOBE
When that one short story you read in language arts actually becomes useful in life.
same
Mando Neo-Crusader helmets are so awesome.
Clone wars is so awesome it takes 10 seasons of show,2 novels, 6 ya novels and a comic series to finish.

Isn't he.... doing it?
6:41 So, it's also a gun?
You missed the fact that the Trandoshan the last episodes are wielding Trandoshan shock blasters that were blasters meant to be reminiscent of 'slug throwers' which were originally introduced in Republic Commando (and which Battlefront 2015 just said 'screw it' and made slug throwers anyway, despite their canon function as blasters) as well as Old Republic Blaster Pistols from Knights of the Old Republic.
TCW naming a character "I'm gonna die" and then killing him is easily the most iconic part IMO
I didn't notice Savage's armour was Roman inspired, nice nod, and KB - 24. Not a sports guy but the balance between 'nerdy' pastimes and athletic interests with an equal vigour should be encouraged
This one was the most interesting yet
keep it up alex!
I knew Papanoida was George Lucas in makeup but I didn't know they continued the in-joke in the series with his family.
can you do U-Wing
I believe you got the reactors on level 5000 wrong. It is not 5000 levels down, it means almost on the surface. Level 1 is the lowest
The gazonti freighter was also used by separatist in the clone wars. In the d-squad episodes
I will never understand why they didn't have a 3 episode series on Delta Squad. Imagine how badass that would have been
You forgot to mention that the Hutt with the mustache is an obvious easter egg and reference to Don Vito Carlioni from the Godfather series. The Hutt literally looks like him.

PADAWAN LOST WAS CREATED AFTER THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME!!!! I noticed the correlation because i had just read that passage in ela!
Great video! And I do hope Disney will still canonized the stories of Bane and revan. along with making a bane movie and revan tv series.
I don't remember if it was season 2 or 3 but Bail Organa (spell check) said Help me Obi Wan Kenobi your my only hope to Kenobi himself as Leia said that message in a hologram meant for Kenobi
REVAN YOU WERE THIS CLOSE GOD DAMMIT!
9:10 cody hops on the droid the same way a clone did on revenge of the sith
8:07 - We were this close, to providing peace and security to the galaxy.
Man I was so glad when they finally removed those gorgets and shoulder pads from Obi-Wan and Anakin... it's not that they were bad designs, but they just seemed to wear them ev-er-y-whe-re. Ugh. So glad :P
Cant wait for your season 4 video
Season 3 is where Clone Wars really became its own
3PO is 133 years old at the time of the force awakens
I feel like the first thing you said is incredibly obvious. It's like saying 'Did you know, that Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace was a prequel to the original star wars films?'
"this episode teaches us that rodians have green blood" that doesn't sound bad at all 😄
You can see Indiana Jones' hat in season for. Cad Bane picks it up.
I always thought Mother Talzin looked like a female version of Shinnok from Mortal Kombat.
I actually had to read The Most Dangerous Game last year
Damn Sam Witwer is awesome, hope he gets more roles.
R.i.p Kobe 🙏🏽💔
season 3 is when i payed most attention, oh and you left out one thing, its minor, Christopher Lee also voices dooku in the Star Wars The Clone Wars Animated Movie
That crystal skull easter egg is really cool, I really like the idea that et's species and the aliens from indy 4 exist in the sw universe.
I initially thought the Trandoshans and the episodes based on their homeworld were callbacks to the Predator series.
9:47
I KNEW IT
tbh its so similar to that book
No wonder Padawan lost reminded me of The Most Dangerous Game
Neo crusader helmet that means kotor is everything but specifically said to be cannon
Wait... So Indiana Jones is apart of Star Wars canon!? ... Word.
Aren't the Trandosian shotguns used in the season finale from Republic Commando?
Hold on. I know Clone Wars episodes are sometimes jumbled up, but in Heroes on both sides, which was in season 3, Ahsoka has her new outfit but in the episode following that one, Onaconda Farr is alive, though he died in season 2.
The trandosian ship has tons of stuff in it. You could do a whole video juston that!
first video of Star Wars trivia that shows new stuff
A Satisfying Review, Well Done!
I hope in the Han Solo movie that Han will meet someone with a name similar to Indiana Jones
\Nexturz/ I hope it turns out true that Indiana Jones was Han solo dream during carbonation!
\Nexturz/ Ohio Smith
God I love this series!
The graphics in swtcw are amazing. There are some scenes where I swear it's like real life. Maybe I'm just fan boying over a show I like
First appearance of the LothWolf
I really enjoyed the finale to this season! The Mortis trilogy was so surreal. The Ventress episodes were so dark and thrilling. I was wondering why that droid was that colour lmao, R.I.L Kobe Bryant. Next up Season 4...
I didn't notice the crystal skull until now
Haha the Ace of Cakes

Bailey Bradley I know. Just pointing out how if L&F had done their homework at the time, it wouldn't be as much of an issue then as it was. Wookieepedia exists for this sole reason.
