thumbs up for using old packing foam. that was brilliant. you also may have been able to cut out the shapes better if you made a vertical cutter like a band saw with the nickel chrome wire. 20mah battery isn't much at all. a 2032 coin cell would give 220-235mah. and possibly weigh about the same.
Easy. Put weights on the ends of a nichrome wire with ends draped over the edge of the table. Use 2 same diameter drill bits under the wire to the thickness desired.
@@bryanewyatt thin magnet wire wrapped around a pencil 25 times, slid off the pencil and superglued to hold it together. A small neodymium magnet that will fits through the hole. Current will make the coil move one way or the other. I dont know the voltage. I would start with 1.5 volts. The actual wraps around the pencil im not sure about. But ive seen them before. Im guessing 25 -30 wraps the thinnest magnet wire you can get. Power up 3.0 uses it. But I highly suggest not buying them. I bought 2 and theyre horrible.
Nice! now i know what to do with my old 2 channel rc plane that has all these electronic components already! it was one of those mall indoor rc plane toys. has the magnet/wire loop rear tail system and everything. :)
Very nice. I was thinking about making something like that, but I wouldn't want to add a motor until I get some more experience with the components needed.
300gr is the lightest plane I've ever built. This thing is 100 times lighter. You sir, blew my mind! I never expected that building small requires a whole new set of skills.
its an Actuator instead of an Servo Motor... its an hand wound coil of "painted" copper wire ;) the paint acts as an dielectric fluid so its avoidin shorts between the windings :) if you put an source on the coil it would make its own magnetic field and will pull the static magnet to itself :) and into the other direction if you invert +/- hope you understand what i mean :D my english is not the best... please correct me if iam wrong :D
I am working as a child care assistent in a kindergarden. 3 to 6yo. I have some RC experiences with quadrocopter and planes. I have a deviated Devo 10. Can you give me some suggestions for a good starter kit please? I want to build some models which can be flown inside in a 5m x 5m room. Where can I get all the tiny receivers, actuators, motors, batterys, ESCs? I think this will be a lot of fun for the kids!
I had one of these before: www.amazon.com/Top-Race-Electric-Infrared-Airplane/dp/B006J285CI?ie=UTF8&keywords=Mini%202ch%20rc%20plane&qid=1465413632&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 They arent RX channel though. They have their own 2ch remote. They fly good. A little fast, but maneuverable. I recommend getting that one.
@ozvooky The width of wings is 20 cm. However, a size is free. The environment manufactured, respectively is different. Please change the plan into the size suitable for environment.
you are brilliant I have made the same before i saw this as well as i nano jet using an electric prop incases in a tube and another prop behind , I would love to see your idea of a jet could you make one and post the video please, last i have to use receiver from old double prop helicopter but its too big where can i buy the small receiver you used in this video thank you
People who wanna make this, you can buy cheap electronics that's used in this video for under 20 dollars just buy the RC e-bird and use its parts on this.
rc boats yeah, same concept of a speaker. copper wire with a current creates an electromagnet that acts appon the magnet deppending on the direction of the current.
@@user-zn7zo1lm6w How is the coil current and polarity controlled? Normal receiver output would be pulses of varying duration for a servo instead of what appears to be analog current control.
When I first watched this video 10 years ago, it became my dream to make such a small rc plane. Fast forward to now, I build at least one every week!
cheap, looks pilot-able,and looks easy to make...U MY FRIEND.... DESERVE A COOKIE!

Wonderful build of one of my favourite ww2 fighters. Excellent job.
Awesome work! I appreciate the effort you put into making the English descriptions.
Japanese ingenuity. I love it!
absolutly fantastic work..
Excellent contribution to micro RC airplane enthusiasts. Greetings from Ecuador South America

I don't know about anyone else, but I also need a tutorial about that wire foam cutter!

I'd love to see how that rudder "servo" works.

That's a very nice micro plane. Fantastic sterring set up.
Thanks for sharing with us. Regards from Australia.
Very nice. I think zero has vertical fin and rudder behind the elevator so that rudder can work effectively while diving.
I think that it is fundamental work. Thank you very much.
Greetings from Budapest
I probably can't make a plane like that but the music is super relaxing.
Excellent That looks like fun! Bright yellow for visibility, good for my old eyes. :¬)
Don’t forget to register that as a killer drone lol

It flies unexpectedly well!

Salute for your creative mind
nice paint job
It looks great, good job man 👍👌 And didn't thought about the magnet thing.
would it be possible to make an actuator for the elevator and still use the same receiver?
You should make kits and sell them. I would buy it for sure!💸
This is fantastic! Greetings from Berlin! :D

Good for learning. its called a 2 channel rc plane. You can mount the motor so that increased thrust will make the nose tilt up.
unbelievable!! congratulations

101.6mm, actually

Awesome. Thank you for sharing...
how works that magnetic servo system?
depending on the direction of current in the coil, magnet, mounted on the keel, is attracted to the left or right side. thus rudder gets deflected
thanks :) i can use that system
