Say what you want about him, but judge Fleisher, but he does care. He tends to say the same things to everyone, about protecting the people in his county, how things won't go well for the defendants if they don't do the minimum of what he's asking... etc. But he cares and wants to see each person who cones into his courtroom succeed in life. That is obvious.
It is very wild that these guys think they can just hide behind language barriers to break any kind of laws they want just because accusers and judges don't speak their language...

That dealer speaking in Spanish can speak if he wants to. He just wants to make simple things, complex. The judge's parents are from Chile, so on occasion you may hear the judge speaking fluent Spanish.
Not to pile on with the mushy sentiments, but I can’t help but to also express my love and respect for Judge Fleischer. He should recognized for the example he sets in his courtroom for the world to see. It’s clear that he genuinely has chosen to run for his seat behind the bench to make a positive impact in his community. I can count on one hand the number of judges that I can say with any confidence that they are qualified to wear the robes, or are not seemingly burned out (which is honestly understandable, but disappointing) and just running out the clock so they have a comfortable monetary figure in regards to their government pension and benefits. All you have to do is look to his court staff and the attorneys that practice in front of him to see that his positivity and moral compass seem to be shared or contagious, or at the very least, respected and welcome. He has my heartfelt appreciation. PS- It’s also very interesting to me that when it comes to almost every other Judge on UA-cam, if you open the comments section you’ll find that the vast majority of comments are full of hate and negativity. Do the same on videos featuring Judge Fleischer and the majority are full of love and admiration for the judge or _usually_ thoughtful comments and discussion about defendants (they exist in the former group, but they’re often buried beneath the vile and reactionary excrement).

This young man stands in front of a judge for something totally OK here and believe me we are not a nation of criminals, we are quite successful. If you are his age in my country it is normal to have the insurance of your car on your dad's name and Marijuana is totally OK. You can even grow it at home legally.

All marijuana charges are unjust and cruel. Anyone in jail for pot should be released immediately. Jurors in pot cases should know that "jury nullification" empowers them to simply enter a "not guilty" verdict regardless of the evidence.
