I heard some negative reviews on social media, but tried it myself and have to say I agree with you 100%! This is incredible! As much as I love the charred oak, I think this is the best Offerman yet!
I am a sucker for Rum cask! And I 100% agree with you on the Charred Oaked, it was the best of the Lagavulin 11, I just can't commit to saying the Rum Cask finished is my favorite...yet hahaha! (But I think it is!) Cheers!
I am a huge Lagavulin fan and the Offerman expressions have been delicious and delightful! Understatement! Adore the 16, 10, 12s and some very old Lagavulins! The Charred Oak is my favourite Offerman so far. I am not a huge fan of rum casks but I want to find this beauty and try it as soon as I can track it down! Lagavulin is my favourite distillery. So amazing! I just saw a terrific positive review on Just Whisky! It's definitely worth checking out! Terrific channel! I appreciate your thoughts a lot! Smoky, earthy, charrey - yes!! Banana, pineapple, coconuts, cinnamon - what a dance together! I am excited. I am on the hunt!! Cheers! Oh! In Canada this will be about $165 plus taxes but worth it! 🙂

The 16 and the 12 are amazing bottles! Sadly the 10 year version is not common to see. I really need to hunt one down to complete my lineup! Cheers!

Intrigued by this one mostly because i loved Ardbeg Drum which was also rum finished. If you ever had that i would be interested in if it compares.
