These fleer sticker cards so far have been my favorite to work on because of how easy it is to get the wax off

I heard psa recemtly said if they find this type of stuff being used they wont grade the card. Is that true
They say that to scare people off
@@jcslater310 that’s a good question. Personally and on behalf of my customers we grade cards all the time and never had any pushback from PSA. There’s probably many options out there for cards, but my stuff will just do a good job of cleaning it and it’s not something that stays on the card to detect or cover something up.

Got a 7 jordan rookie sticker with wax , centered up nice was wondering if i remove the wax would it go up a grade or 2
@@wayneburbrink1215 I think so Wayne, I think the wax would take points off the score. I’ve cleaned wax off the back of cards and received higher grades
Csn you use the same trick on the backs of vintage cards?
@@gordonmorris957 sometimes, or you’ll have to do a card soak. Check out my vintage playlist, I can show you some cool stuff like that.

What about cards with tape? I tried to soak the card for and hour but could removed the tape of the card. I end up damaging instead. Any tip to removed the tape. The card was a 51 Bowman.
@@ezekielsportmemorabilia7939 tape is a pain in the butt. If you’re on Instagram, send me a picture. I’ll give you my best advice.
I used old pantyhose and they were free and do the trick
Paper towel with iron would work
@@Frizzlefrail I wouldn’t want to use an iron or paper towel personally. Seems too complicated for this. But if it works for you ✌🏼.
@@kurtscardcare keep iron dry the wax melts into paper towel just be careful.
