I was sent to a ‘troubled teen’ treatment center in Utah when i was 16. I still have nightmares that i wake up screaming and shaking from. I’m terrible at communicating any ‘negative’ emotions to even my closest friends and family because of the deep-rooted fear of being taken away or punishment, even as an adult 8 years later. I’m scared to see a therapist because i get paranoid they’re all in cahoots with these programs.

I'd honestly say some online communities (eg. Minecraft servers, forums, etc), especially those that are open for anyone to join, but have a large reach and a constant stream of people. You really do meet some wonderful people, but it can also become your everything if you allow it. People there treat you like you really matter and all of a sudden, you're pulling all-nighters just to help out the community. When you make a mistake or find things that are issues, many people will choose to leave you, or at least never treat you as a friend, when you really never were their friend. I still miss my "safe haven", but I do still have some friends from there, who I talk to regularly. Still, I sometimes wish I could go back...

You could try. Typically they’ll handcuff or restrain you. Even on the chance a cop or the like were to stop the vehicle, transporters have documentation of your parents signing your agency away since you’re a minor

I mean Mary Kay has good quality stuff. Some MLMs aren’t great, probably most of them. I dislike the delivery when it comes to that kind of sales cause unless it comes up naturally you’re just annoying as fuck. My family has only ever been involved in MLMs that have genuinely beneficial and good quality products, but the approach is toxic and idk why they don’t fix that
I’ve also done Landmark Forum, and I got the benefit. However it’s one route that many things can probably compare to, results wise. Maybe just not in a weekend. They’re SO pushy tho, it’s gross. I enjoyed my time but I still don’t really know how I feel about the organization as a whole. Really anything can be a cult if enough sheep join. We were always welcome to leave and they fed and watered us so that’s… the bare minimum 🤣
