Teachers, what's the most stupid question a student has ever asked you?

Idk if these are actually stupid or I'm just flexing my intelligence, but here are some recent ones (I'm a HS junior, not a teacher):
1. "Which one is the hobbit?" - a senior boy in my English class
2. "How do you calculate density?"- a sophomore girl in my bio class
3. "Where's Afghanistan? Is that a state?" - a junior girl in my history class
4. I've heard a LOT of "how do you spell _______?" from high schoolers, but, in their defense, at least 90% of them are dyslexic and/or dysgraphic, so I'm not entirely mad but it does sometimes annoy me
I was a freshman in high school. Someone in my class to English teacher seriously asked
“How do you spell it’s?”
Dead serious. Not dyslexic or anything of the such, just dumb as bricks.

Had a teacher break down for a period when the question jar she thought would work would bring more love for learning, Unfortunately that was when the whole is water wet thing and i think we had over 20 “is water wet” yeah needless to say that was gone.
Since water has high adhesion and tends to create high surface tension and high concentrations of itself, I’d say that it is. It’s kinda like seeing an ant… there’s never just one

The taxes thing is just people taking directions too literally. “Add boxes 23 and 24” should actually read “add the RESULTS of the two boxes” but it is not really that much of a leap
