So, here the prob, My face and neck have been darkened a lot due to tanning and that has happenned since I was in school, now I'm 25+ so what I wanna know is, since my tanning is deeeep, can kojic acid bring it back to normal (my covered arms and torso is like 2 shades lighter than face n exposed arms) or will it keep my tan same and just make my acne marks faded?
Since the tan is so deep and old, it will take longer to fade it away. You can start incorporating kojic acid face wash into your routine, use it on a daily basis for a week or 10 days. Then also add the serum to your routine, start using it once every alternate days for another 10 days and then start using it once daily. Continue the usage for 2 months and then see the difference. I recommend clicking pictures of before and after so you know if it made a difference

As you mentioned in your video that shelf life of kojic acid is smaller. Also we don't find a lot of kojic acid serums available from top brands. I'm currently using this Derma co kojic acid serum as you suggested in your video. But my question is since i use it both AM and PM so would it make the serum ineffective as it's opened twice a day everyday? I would love to have your take on it.

So an update. It's been more than 3 months I'm using this Kojic acid serum from Derma Co and i am about to finish mu second bottle but I've to write this in an utter disappointment that this serum did nothing to my concerns. It does lighten the tanning and makes your face look brighter but as far as the pigmentation issue is concerned, it did absolutely nothing. Also I don't have hyperpigmentation, i have very little pigmentation spots of my cheeks and i have been using this everyday AM PM with moisturizer as well but it did nothing at all. Maybe it's just my skin but i read on it's reviews on Nykaa, someone said she used it for 9 months and it didn't do anything for the pigmentation. So once my this current bottle is finished, I'm going to discontinue it's use. In my opinion it's just a hyped product from good marketing.
