Nice vid. I like these cruising videos. But if possible, i'd like to request less editing in these cruising videos. Like, let us actually see you guys "cruise". I miss the old days when we get those 30 minute long cruising videos here and there. Anyways, keep it up!
You guys make some great videos. I'm not surprised it convinced me to buy a pair. I'm very happy i did. I think this is the most fun a person can have on 4 wheels.
I like how Jack shows Reverse, Flow, Power and Surf Pumping and effortlessly changes between them as he needs to, especially on narrow sidewalks with pedestrians! I freeskate mostly after dark in my city so it was awesome to see you dudes cruise smoothly through San Diego nightlife!
Is this a muscle thing or am I doing something wrong but watching these videos I think it's so cool to ride free skates but when I hop on mine my legs get so tired after a minute or 2 a d I wonder if I'm doing something wrong or is this just a muscle thing?
I practice the sport in my city, Fortaleza in Brazil!! My equipment is from another brand!! I enjoyed your challenges, teachings and equipment!! congratulations
I did research right after but I had an emotional rollercoaster when I was starting to be really interested and I saw the price ad thing right when you scroll down (at least on mobile).
Great video again guys. I just now am getting to the point that I can commute with my skates which was the intended purpose. I can just now begin to handle any kind of the terrain that you just hit. More often than not i end up walking to the better surface. Im looking forward to being able to do what you do. You make it look very smooth and free.
Hey, for how long have you have your skates before you started being able to commute with them? I got mine 1 month ago, and I feel like I'm doing pretty well on almost-perfect ground. On crappy ground it feels possible, but very very tiring to do, so I never even practice on it. Did you practice on your bad terrain, or was it something you learned passively?
@@ric6611 going on a slight uphill incline or on non-smooth pavement is also tough for me, but I think as long as you keep at it, your muscles will level up. It's similar to doing the horse stance in martial arts. You can barely do 5 min at the beginning, but you'd be able to do hours if you keep at it. Luckily pumping on freeskates is actually fun.
My Freeskates are on the way, would recommend buying one of their bundles as its reslly good value for money. Can't wait to get back into Freeskating, thanks JMK for encouraging me to try it again.
@@jmkride Yeah, back in 2015/2016 I think it was I first saw them and got a cheap pair from amazon a year or so later. I found it hard but fun and eventually stopped after getting a scooter for more of quick commute. A few weeks ago I found one of your videos and then found more, I was amazed at how much the community had grown. So I decided I should have never dropped it and am picking it back up. All thanks to you guys 😁
It's the fault of the individuals and not of the act itself. Both could've been paying more attention. If they had, nothing would've happened... but they didn't, and still nothing happened, so no reason to make it a bigger deal than it is. The answer is skate responsibly, not don't skate at all.
@@travisgoesthere Straw-man argument, nonsense response, avoiding to take responsibility. The situation was a close call, just to exemplify the point, but my statement was not about it specifically. Assuming that you are in full control of a situation is always a very stupid mistake to make. Never ever skate on narrow sidewalks with building exits and crowded situations like this.
Nothing would have happened, if you don't skate there at all. Because the situation clearly forbids it. It is not someone elses duty to look out for people who use the sidewalk for their speedy endeavors and make sure, they jump out of your way or stop in their path to avoid accidents. What makes you think you have the right of way? Seriously, grow up!

Guys, you are the best!!! Each of your new videos is a charge of energy, vivacity, drive! It’s already autumn and it’s raining, it’s going to snow soon, we’ve been skating outside for the last few days, and soon we’ll have to go skating at the indoor roller rink. We'll train there, eat caviar and wait for spring :) Thank you for your work! Sorry for the automatic translation.
@@jmkride Your training videos - are brilliant, super! Especially with error analysis. The previous video about types of pumping is a great example of such videos. I would really like a training video, for example about rotating around its axis by 360 degrees, like here, for example: ua-cam.com/video/NPOpmHZQ-j8/v-deo.html I couldn't find a similar video in your archive. Thank you in advance! :))) Sorry for the automatic translation.
a while ago i got some amazon freeskates and learned how to freeskate but i am struggling with pumping i can do it down hill or even on flat ground with some speed but i don't really gain speed just stop myself from slowing down is this just me or is it the skates?
It's the skates. There is a learning curve, but it sounds like you're at the stage it should be happening without the slope. The Amazon skates cheap out on wheels and bearings which make riding harder than it should be
Sorry, but you are idealizing the herd mentality. Drinking alcohol, smoking, using drugs is always easier. Going down is always easier than going up. Studying, working, reading, playing sports is always more difficult. Therefore, there are always fewer such people. The climb is difficult, but it's worth it. Freeskates are difficult to learn, that's true, but that's it. What we put more effort into results in more pleasure. And it's just fun :)
Jack is a street beast!
Same with Gabe for keeping up and Looking like he made it past the train tracks at the end
Jmk must create rechargeable LED attachment somewhere in the trucks for this kind of scenario. it will look cool as well.
There were similar ones, I don’t know if they are on sale now.

What vehicle does the cameraman use? Like a onewheel, euc, skateboard, or also freeskates?

It's a muscle thing. These guys have been riding years and can ride seemingly forever without stopping. You have to build up to that level.

Is there a video on getting out your skates out of the JMKRIDE Freeskates Shoulder Bag quickly?

We don't have a dedicated video on that. It is featured in some of our vids

0:19 shows clearly why you shouldn't. do not put others at risk for your own convenience and fun. very egoistic behavior, no excuse for that.
The waitress survived I'm pretty sure. They operate a business on the sidewalk , on a strip. Plenty of traffic both foot and mobile to dodge.
