Exactly… everyone and anyone is going to gravitate towards what looks like and represent them. No is denying one’s greatest. It’s just an age old debate. It’s that Magic/Micheal vs Bird syndrome. It’s them over the train tracks vs them over there. Like I said in comment its deeper then basketball. At the end of the day it’s two players good at their prospective positions.

Angel Reese's biggest accomplishment is successfully fooling the public into thinking this was a real rivalry.
She completely fabricated the whole controversy with the "can't see me" hand gesture in college. Clark's hand gesture had nothing to do with Reese or LSU, but Reese made it all about her, and everyone fell for it. Reese is incredibly jealous of Clark to this day, but she is nowhere near Clark in terms of skill. Reese's best attribute as a player is her hustle, and i'll give her credit for being a tough, hard nosed player, but her the rest of her game is mediocre at best.
Comparing CC to Reese is like comparing Jordan to Rodman. Simply not comparable.

@@willawentertainment bro it’s a play style comparison, no one saying CC is at their level right now… but if we wanna go there, Nash avg 3.3 pts & 2.1 assists as a rookie & he didn’t avg more than 10+ pts/gm until his 5th szn - he was a below avg player until his 5th yr … and Steph’s rookie yr stats are pretty comparable to CC - 17.5, 5.9asst, 4.5 rebs … but again it’s a woman’s play style comparison she plays similar to them & Reese is similar to Drummond & Capela (not great offensive players, but dble dble machines)

Dan has some good points. I am biased. Im daily, or every other day looking for new Caitlin Clark highlights. I didnt know anything about her 2 years ago. Not even a year ago. She is like an Ervin Johnson, in that she has charisma. Charisma isnt taught. It's a God-given gift. 😊😊😊

These women who have been in the league for years had 20+ points! If Clark was so great, it was her time to show that, and she did not. Good ball handler, but besides three-pointers she adds nothing else. Because she was heavily guarded by veterans she was not able to shoot well. PERIOD
If you're white, you root for Clark to win ROY...if you're black, you vote for Reese for ROY. If you know basketball, you know Clark does more for her team than Reese. She should get double doubles, being as tall as she is and hangs out under the basket.....thats like Shaq get double doubles...its expected...... compared to Clark who on most days is shorter than her defender. Has the ball and controling tempo, dishing assists, and rebounding....she is just more consistent. And does more for her team.... and teams defend Clark with schemes....no one is scheming for Reese. They guard her at half court, I've seen NO TEAM defend Reese at half court.

Well, the total point she generated for the team and fever winning more recently games seem to show her TO is not as big a deal and is a byproduct of her aggressive style of playing.

Caitlan Clark is a very good player who made her reputation as a College player, but look at the record holder of the player who she beat (Kelsey Plum) Caitlan Clark has a long way to go before she is as good as Kelsey Plum.
19 assists just proves she is miles ahead of Reese. Reese and the wnba cheated more than once to keep her double double streak going to get that record. Reese can't even make layups consistently. What a joke. Clark was full court pressed double and triple covered all night and put up 24 points 19 assists at least 5 boards and a couple steals.

She has great vision but she's not a great passer. You can't be a great passer with 194 assist and 139 turnovers.
It's her teammates blah blah blah. Funny how her teammates weren't setting turnover records when she wasn't on the team. So they can catch the pass when a less skilled passer is passing the ball just not when she passes it?
She also led the NCAA in turnovers during her 4 year tenure in college.
It's the usage rate, it's because she's a guard, well LeBron has the most turnovers it's everything but accountability.

The thing that I don’t like about the media concerning Clark is the overpraise. The last game they won because of Mitchell and Boston, but the media highlighted Clark making a 3 even though she was 2-11 and was 5-17 overall with 6 TO. That’s delusional. That’s what Geno was talking about. The media is in on the delusion. That’s the type of crap that’s ridiculous. Just be honest!
Mitchell has strapped that team to her back. That’s why they’ve improved but she doesn’t get any credit.
And what Angel did with the 15 straight double was incredible. If she’s not in the conversation for ROTY, it’s purely because of bias because she’s gotten better as the season has gone on. She and Clark each have a Rookie of The Month.
If Kelsey Mitchell is the real reason for Fever improvement what do you believe has been the reason for Fever struggling in the past years? The Indiana Fever hasn't been to the playoffs since 2016. Kelsey Mitchell was drafted to the Fever in 2018.
@@ZenDCIII Coaching and the Fever's front office have been notoriously horrible. Do yourself a favor go and compare the 2023 team and individual player stats to this year. This is pretty much the same team except for Caitlin. In 2023 the Fever averaged 81 ppg, now they average 81.3. Fever opponents are averaging more points this year 86.7 vs. last year's 85.1. Kelsey, Nalyssa and Aliyah had better stats last year. Last year's point guard averaged 6.8 assists with 2.8 turnovers while Caitlin is averaging 7.4 ast with 5.9 to's. Last year Christy Sides was a first year head coach.
The Caitlin hype simply isn't real. She's a good player, but she's definitely not the next Steph Curry. Her +/- is far lower than Angel's for a reason. She's not as valuable to her team as Angel is. Angel is the ROY!
