I'm white. 53 live in the uk. Used to enjoy watching Larry Bird for the Celtics a while ago. This girl pops up in my feed and I love watching her progress. Perhaps I favour the advancement of white athletes. I also loved Mohammad Ali and Carl Lewis. I loved Floyd Mayweather too. Serena Williams amazing. I'm white so it's possible I favour people I resemble. I've only disliked sportsmen or women for unkind behaviour. Magic and Michael speak fondly of Larry Bird. Caitlin's peers perhaps should show grace and respect her and how she invigorates female basketball rather than sulking. Just my opinion.

The US Olympic Team belongs to the fans, not to Jennifer Rizzotti, Cathy Engelbert and Cheryl Reeve, (The “Three Women “) who kept Caitlin Clark off the US Women’s Olympic Basketball Team out of pettiness, jealousy, international basketball ignorance, financial stupidity, and disregard for the 20 year precedent of a rookie being placed on the Olympic Team EVERY Olympic Year since 1996, (except for 2012, when there were no Olympics.) While the Three Women’s act of keeping Caitlin Clark off the 2024 Olympic team was and is an affront to all Clark’s fans, it is a more grievous affront to Clark’s American and World Wide Senior Citizen fans (75 and older) who simply may not be alive to see Caitlin Clark in the 2028 Olympics.
As it now appears Diana Taurasi is injured, she can graciously withdraw from the Olympic Team allowing Rizzotti, Englebert, Reeve and everyone else involved to save face, and replace her with Caitlin Clark. Taurasi has been on the Women’s Olympic Team five times, has five gold medals, and is not “entitled” to be on the Team just to get a sixth metal. The US Olympic Team belongs to the fans, not to Jennifer Rizzotti, Cathy Engelbert and Cheryl Reeve. Someone needs to call and remind them of this fact. Where are you Adam Silver?

Indiana in 2023 was 13-27. They had Boston, Smith, and Mitchell.
Indiana is now (7/14) 11-14 with Clark. If they go 3 and 12 the remaining 15 games they beat last year's record.
Chicago was 18-22 in 2023.
Chicago is now 9-14. They have to go 10-7 just to beat that.
Who has helped their team WIN more this year? Take away Indiana's brutal opening schedule (1-8) with too many games and against the best teams, and they are an impressive 10-6, beating New York and Minnesota this past week (in Minnesota) with 5 road games in a row in those last 16 games.
I've never watched, or cared about the WBA, until Caitlin Clark came along.

There is something else Clark has that we never talk about. It’s the mark of any game changing athlete. She terrifies other players. You have 6 ft 9 players getting blocked by Clark and Clark is also getting shots by them. That’s because she has a psychological affect on all these athletes when she gets on the court. Diana Taurasi didn’t want to get close to Clark because she was paranoid about Clark humiliating her. That’s why these taller players are giving weak-ass hand raises to Clark. They are scared and fear paralyzes us.

CC gave South Carolina their only defeat. The head coach for South Caroline was Dawn Staley. Dawn Staley is a member of he US Olympic Women's Basketball Committee that chose to omit CC from the USA Women's Olympic Basketball Team. Dawn Staley was also played point guard and once cancelled an entire series of games against BYU because of alleged 'racism'.
Dawn Staley as one of the first things she did after their win over Iowa in the finals 2024 was to give Caitlin her flowers and call her a future GOAT.
She is one of the only people on the selection committee who has stated that had team USA for this years Olympics been picked later on in the season, Caitlin Clark would have definitely made the team
