To put a cat in a cage is really bad for cats psychology so I found a solution. A completely harmless solution that makes your cat busy for the whole day. I buttered his back, where he couldn't reach it well and had to really stretch his neck to reach. I mixed butter with a bit of bacon bits and smeared a little patch (about a quarter of a teaspoon of butter) on his back and he was busy a whole day and night trying to lick it off. That was a funny sight to see.
