Now this video helped me with knowledge of how to remove the subframe. If anyone has more complete information on R & R of the rear subframe I'd be grateful for the assist. One difference I notice in this video is the narrator says the subframe weighs ~200Ibs. I've found this part to order but shipping weight is listed as 51lbs for the 8th Gen car.
I would suggest that if I your going to the trouble of replacing 1, I would do both ! What is the part number of the 2 mounts that you removed the 18 mm bolts from ?
You don’t need to make such a huge production taking down the subframe. You can push those bolts back enough on an angle to wiggle out the arm. I did one. It’s not all that extra work. And That car is a disaster. It’s a rust junk bucket. And why are you putting the muffler pipe back? It’s rusted off the muffler.
Why am I watching this ? I was hoping to hear him say this will fix your camber problem. After further research this will not fix camber on the l;esabre. Either will rotating the bolt in the center subframe .If your self leveling is out or your compressor is out .I bypassed my auto leveling and went toi filling the airshock manually .Iread if your auto level is out your camber will stay out as the car lowers, is this true ? any help would be appreciated . / \ nooooooo

This job is 100% possible to be done without messing with the subframe

Man, the rust is worse than the Titanic
Is it possible to only replace the bushing that connects to the control arm?

What are you using to support the bracket at 1:50? Is that a jack stand or jack attachment?
You don’t need to lower the subframe to replace them
Please explain. I will be tackling this on mine in the very near future. Anything I can do to make this easier will be greatly appreciated.
