Wonderful footage, shame no freight trains were out but this was still a great video. I've only seen Dawlish in pictures and it's on my list for the next time I'm in the country.
I do highly recommend this station to come to when your next in the UK, it's very rare to find freight traffic running through this section of the network

If you don't enjoy Dawlish, there's something wrong with you, The ride along the sea on an HST with heads out the window is even better, and you got lucky getting some nice weather as well, those coloured houses in the last few shots are pretty as well, probably even better when the scaffolding is removed, I thoroughly enjoyed watching, up to your usual high standards Jarred keep up the good work and a like from me as always

Dawlish is Awesome! :-) Its best when you’ve got speeding FGW HSTs and CrossCountry Voyagers cruising at speed. The Coastline adds tot the natural beauty of the Devon Main Line. Devon and Cornwall are the best places in the UK to go train Spotting in my view.
This was my first time here and I can happily say it wont be the last, I have to say the weather would definitely need to be on your side if you wanted to come here as the sea can easily change it all. I haven't spent to much time down in Devon and Cornwall but I need to make this a more regular thing

Came here on holiday this year and it's a really nice place but gets a bit repetitive after a while as not much freight. It's a bit like the Cumbrian coast where it's nicer to do the trip along the coast than stay at a given station. Now give me Kings Sutton any day....sat there doing my online tax return not long ago as so relaxed.
Well I have to say I haven't had to opportunity to see the local area I was literally just there to do my filming but I must come back down to make a full day out of it and go around the local area. Kings Sutton will be filmed this coming Saturday along with Oxford which I'm really looking to seeing
I have to say for my first ever trip here I can safely say I wasn't disappointed and will definitely be coming back, the HST in it's original livery is one of the best looking ones going

Along with Corrour this is probably the most iconic location on the UK network also 8:32 HST power car in its original livery!
