There are underwater airdrops in the sunken city which you can access right when you get to the center and they have level 7-9 armor and weapons and you can get this at like level 2

I got the sports bow very early on in the game from a shop in the bizarre. Later bought the bow Nails with higher damage. Also found Copper bow next to an airdrop. Received paperclip bow after doing a mission but can't remember which one. So pretty easy to obtain a bow early while waiting to get the crossbow from pk. The shock arrows are great at killing goons, Demolisher, and even volatiles but need at least 7 or more shock arrows. For gamers who don't like to get up close and personal with the monsters.

Just a great tip: you can go back to the military trailer to keep getting artifact weapons, and mine always have more damage than the one before it. Not sure if this is 100% concrete but every time I go back to the top of the VNC tower, the military crate is full of goodies all over again :)
In one of the side quests towards the beginning of the game you actually hear why the guns stop being seen : they made a law stating no guns allowed which leads to the March massacre (I think that’s the name I can’t quite remember) and you actually can see this at one of the parks and it shows that shots were fired at civilians and they died and that was the last time guns were allowed and so boomsticks are all that’s left
well, the military confiscated all the guns, meaning Techland is probably keeping that in their back pocket to introduce guns later on-by us finding where the military kept them

I've heard there's a stash that we can't access (yet maybe?) However no traditional guns I think is fine narratively, maybe with the 2nd full Dlc we will start seeing some Frankenstein's monster type weapons in the same vein as the Boomstick, but maybe a little more out there? Idk there is that other part of me that doubts them all together, because in NG+ You get the legendary skill tree or more a weapons and a couple physical attribute upgrades, but you see upgrade possibilities on the Crossbow before you even obtain (still think it's dumb we don't retain it for NG+ from our standard play through.) Anyways sorry about the pointless diatribe, what I was getting at was I feel like there would be a digital fingerprint in regards to them maybe tied to Elysium, but it feels as though maybe not.
Now 1 thing I would like to add is we all know how fantastic Techland is in regards to player feedback and communication. I don't think any studio I can think of that does it better. They make us feel we are apart of the creative process, which is true to an extent. So I think if everyone is vocal enough (obviously with the grace and care that Techland has shown us when they really don't have to, and that is what makes them special. Personally I don't miss the guns, because I rarely used them except for human combatants who also were sporting rifles, because those cocksuckers had the most bullshit aim. Anyways I have word vomited enough if u make it to this point thank you.

As soon as I started the game I found 2 level 7 artifact weapons that do over 250 damage by the bandit tower and used them to one shot throughout nearly the whole story

I got a hate love relationship with this game right now but it’s new and I plan on beating it.
Impact bolts knock them away and is only one at a time, AND you can't search the bodies.
The electric arrow shocks WHOLE GROUPS.
And you can still search the bodies. And it works on virals.
Best arrow in the game IMHO.
So depending on how many buildings (on either side), you get the item, e.g you have 4 of peacekeepers, you get the 4th reward?
My cross bow has almost 1000 dmg,but can't craft special ammo,says inventory is full but when i select them on the bow it says zero

I have so many arrows I wish I could upgrade them or modify them to being the other arrows. If you go to one of the renegade forts by st Paul water tower there's so many arrows
You can buy a bow before "let's waltz" but I think you need to be lvl3 and have plenty of cash.

Like most guys said here. When you met Lawan the first time, don’t go with her. Just go to the south, around 1 mile, and loot around 10 military boxes. Strongest weapons like chop chop (400 damage) etc.

I got a bow well before the waltz mission. Bought mine at bazaar early in the game
not as useful tho cause you can’t craft arrows till waltz
For me I think my game bugged as I was able to purchase an infinite amount of artifact military bows which did 200 damage at lvl 7

Its a glitch i had it too, join a friends game and do it on their save and it should work if they have done the vnc tower mission
You can cycle the shops for a legendary bow before you get to the central loop. Just fyi 🤷🏾♂️ for those who didnt know
I think I got my bow (rust I think it was called) right after securing the water tower I believe. I was thinking it was gonna be an end of the game weapon

@T3YToMiC_HaMMeRR I’ve found pretty much every unique weapon/gear so far in the game on both the runs I’ve completed but I have no idea what this dudes talking about lol. Only way to find max level gear is by legendary encounters or getting lucky on some of the sunken airdrop crates. But I’ve played a lot and i mean A LOT and I have yet to find any bow that’s above lvl 6.(not including pk crossbow)

Nah it should automatically be in your inventory. If you were full it may have been sent to your bag over at a camp next to your bed
The crossbow is glitched for a lot of ppl. Really pissed off after 40 something hours on this game amd got PK level to 4 and crossbow and bolts are nowhere to be found . Smh . That and getting booted over and over in some instances from co-op play as well as numerous glitches . I’m on Xbox and now I can’t get it 🙁
@@hellok1ttyluver it might have something to do with a faction reward glitch, which results in some players getting a huge boost in faction reward levels, it just happened to me now, I have level 7 survivor rewards and level 6 pk rewards so I think the game is having a hard time determining who has a boost and who doesn't
@@jayluis7701 yes dying light 2 is a disaster . I’ve stopped playing . The person who plays with me stopped playing also when he got glitched in the mission immediately after VNC tower where Lawan asks you to get her shoes . There’s no way to move the piece of wood so he’s stuck . Meanwhile the crazy thing is he had completed that and the VNC tower quest earlier and it took him all the way back to that quest when we were in the middle of inhibitor hunting a good distance away. So frustrating 😡smh
@@hellok1ttyluver you always hate to see it, I got lucky in my playthrough of the game and barely encountered any bugs much less anything game breaking, hopefully the next patch can fix a lot of these things

LMAO no hes saying the weapons are level 9 which are really good.
but technically it does depend on your level as the damage wont be as good as high-level player finds.

gun is not survive the time is make sense i guess. if you actually look into it make gun by hand is extreamly hard. without precision equipment and people runing around killing zombie/each other. looter everywhere try to take everything. for the first 10 year maybe some faction can maintain the gun but not for ammunition. it's use a lot of gun powder and i can't imagine how do you make a lot of gun powder in dying light world.

Glitches and bugs I recently bought a ps5 game and it wouldn't even play for more than 5 minutes,some space game callisto protocol BS and I certainly wouldn't recommend it at all. If you could not have that repetitive sound in the background(certainly not music) it might support your work. When showing something make it a little more than a blink time. Cheers
The best on the crossbow is, that it levels up with you! So it gets better and better!
The pk crossbow levels up with you? so if I was to get it at level 3 or 4 it would level up with me to 5?
@@acersofspadez100 jup. If you haven't played through the campaign, its brutal! You can farm greatly Volatiles! With a oneshot! Did so in a hospital!

@@acersofspadez100 Yes, when you level up and are lets say level 4 or 5, your Crossbow is much overpowerd in level 2 areas! You one or two shot Volatiles with it! When you are through the game, enemies level up with you. So I can not farm so easy anymore!
