- Belt kit I use for holding all of my tools for bushcraft. Great for survival purposes.
A belt is great for holding your tools so you can do bushcraft hands free.

I always carry a flask of whiskey when I'm out in the woods for snakes, because you never know when you may run across a snake that drinks! Lol! ATB Sam Adler
I always carry at least a litre rum, sort your life out 😉
I have a pet snake named Lefty.
I have only one suggestion, have a longer belt so you could wear it sling style if needed 🙂. However I love the utility belt kit.
Tackleberry springs to mind.
That's the biggest Fero Rod I have ever seen ! Good for a lifetime.
👍👍
Nice set up. I know you have had this video up for several years now. I have seen a lot of bushcraft belt set-up videos. I believe yours is the best there is. Your utility belt set-up is well thought of and well planned. Plus you can still add & subtract from it, as needed. Thank you for sharing your bushcraft belt with us.
Cool, thanks 👍👍
This is all a really great setup and the practicality - even for pack people - is awesome. Cause a lot of folks don’t account for that very very BAD possibility: which is, what are you gonna do if you get indefinitely separated from your pack (or your otherwise entire gear loadout?) It’s INSANELY good to keep a really comprehensive array/load-out of the essential tools, containers, and/or consumables on a belt/harness that absolutely NEVER comes off unless you’re sleeping. AND in your pack. Yeah, it’s a little bit of extra weight. But I’d rather have too much paracord (or whatever else) than not enough.
Very nice! I have a scout belt made of 1 3\4 inch harness leather, DRings front and rear, small 12 oz canteen, a pouch on the rear that holds four altoid tins, small knife with light, modular design to add Laplander saw, various firearms holsters, depending if I can open carry in an area. Other pouches Nothing is loose and swings on belt for hiking. I can wear it under or over jacket. Comfortable for up to 10 mile hikes.First aid for cuts and b stings. Emergency blanket, tape to wrap ankles, knees
You have a great belt kit 👍👍
Nice set up. Looks like lots of thought went into it. One thing I personally would think of adding is a small fishing kit for food procurement. The small flask is a good touch for those cold days.
Thanks for the belt video. Beauty belt. Not too often do I see a Swiss Army Knife in a video. Thanks again
Cheers mate 👍👍
Nice kit
I agree with your philosophy, my belt kit consists of a Helikon-Tex Foxtrot MKII belt pouch mounted on a ridged pistol belt and shoulder straps, it's very comfortable especially when carrying a liter of water!
That's a beautiful folding knife. I've never seen one like that. You could probably use your ferro rod for selfdefence if needed. It would be interesting to see how many fires it could start if you had a few weeks to spare. That's a nice belt you've put together.
I think it would make many months of fires 👍👍
I use a pair of work suspenders/braces that take all the weight off your waist
Wearing belts are hard for both thin waisted and heavier waisted people
Suspenders solves the problem
A great video on a piece of kit that is often overlooked. Back in the late eighties, my original set up was the US issue ALICE set up with an issue KBar (inverted on the suspenders).
Excellent outdoor Belt kit !! Just add one Carpenter pencil in it also... Multipurpose tool worth adding!! 🙂
Cool, thanks 👍👍
Solid thinking behind the belt. You are good to go lad. Batman would be jelous. lol.
lol 👍
I don't know if you will see this, but I thought maybe you or someone else might find this useful. Something that I have found works great for cleaning/ unclogging a DC4/CC4 (or any diamond or ceramic stone for that matter) is either a pencil eraser or a "magic eraser" it seems to help them work better for longer. I hope this helps someone. Have a great, safe day and thank you for reading.
Great tip!👍
It's a really smart belt set you have there. There are some good arguments for having them, really good. The small pocket larch with strong whiskey could well be a number bigger, I'd probably say two numbers bigger. haha
Benny you are a wise man 👍👍👍👍
You can carry a small dry bag. You can keep your wallet, tinder, it can hold water etc. Clip it on between pouches. Light weight.
Suspenders come in handy when carry a heavy belt loaded with tools it will fatigue your lower back with all that weight and your pant belt will chaff or fall down without suspenders highly recomend them
👍👍
The back of your sak saw makes a great striker for a ferro rod. ATB Sam Adler
Great belt, great video, love how you've added more survival gear to it and love your enthusiasm, knowledge and love for everything bushcraft. Look forward to the next vid Boss.
Use the back of the saw blade for your striker. It works amazing.
Very nice setup. The cup is not very useful though, I’d opt for a canteen with a nesting cup. You can also use the back of your SAK sawblade as a ferro striker. Consider adding an emergency whistle. I enjoyed your video, take care.
Thanks mate 👍👍
😂😂😂 a rape whistle?!!? A revolver or autoloader would be better
maybe an army surplus webbing kit could be used for the same purpose and the suspenders will take the weight off your hips.
I've thought of that and it'd be perfect but I don't want to go running around the forests looking like a psychopath lol
Hi Bushwacker man
Have a look at the yugoslavian mess kit for your belt. You have a square waterbottle, and cooking pot and 2 plastic cups that all fit together and a cutlery set it comes in a canvas pouch. Its an option to consider. I can't fault it.
Sounds like a plan 👍👍
Putting the belt above the hip bone makes sense. Backpacking packs with belts also do this, it puts all the weight on your legs.
👍👍
Watched your video on another device. Great belt kit and video!
Thanks for posting.
Awesome, thank you! 👍👍
Nice kit, thanks for showing. I'm starting on mine very soon.
No problem 👍👍
Nice belt kit..!! I would definitely add one more item to make it perfect and that would be a folding saw..!! Either a Bahco or Silky either or but then it would be complete..👍
Great choice, plus a water canteen 👍👍
Amazing just how much important stuff one can but on a belt. Thank you for sharing. Have a super great day.
Cheers Moses, i love my kit 👍👍
Nice belt setup.👏👏👏👏That farro rod is a beast!😬😉 I currently have a molle 2 waist pack that I’m building up. ✌️🇺🇸🇬🇧
Cheers mate, good luck with you project 👍👍
Putting together a Bush belt myself and have been getting ideas. You kit has some great ideas. Thanks my friend ATB Sam Adler
Being exforces I love messing with my kit, it's an organic process that develops with time, your belts given me some good ideas so thanks. I'm thinking of maybe adding some kind of harness or leather braces to mine like a webbing belt that can unclip on and off easily and mabe have a fitted sling on the back so you can carry larger tools like an larger axe and saw etc on your back? There's probably something like that already. Great vid mate. 👍
Great to hear! 👍👍
Nice. Thanks for sharing. I'm a newbie in bushcrafting and i'm wondering if u find it useful to have a folding shovel on ur belt as well. Thanks a lot!
PS: i love ur "car"!
Could be useful 👍👍
Maybe a water canteen with cup like US army one. beeing able to carry water and boil it in the cup. Not so bushcrafty but a useful thing to carry.
Wow!
Loads of stuff to carry around.
Loads of options to set fire to things.
I spose if you ever lose it,you can always go home.🤣😉
All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧
Very true 👍👍
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, greetings from Northern California. Thank you for sharing this informative video. I like what you did with your survival belt you're prepared for almost any emergency. All the best to you. Stay safe out there. 🤗
Thank you very much! 👍👍
Awesome kit. One recommendation have your piece of wood wrapped in ziploc plastic bag to keep it waterproof.
Great idea 👍👍
That freaking vehicle!
nice idea the belt, some item i would change out.
A belt is personal to your liking 👍👍
Nice belt mate. Thanks for the show.
You might want to mount a number of items horizontally on your belt. Your knife for example would be easier to withdraw and doesn't interfere with walking, rubbing against the side of your leg. That's what I did with mine. Also I vised and hammered an aluminum tubing into an oval and drilled lightening holes in it and covered it over with Wilson tennis wrap. My saw blade goes in one end and my Mora knife sits in the opposite end. I remove the saw blade and screw and wing nut it to the inside end of the modified tube for cutting wood. I've removed my Mora knife with attached heat moldable plastic protecting the edge, the knife placed in my pocket during wood cutting. The modified tube is mounted horizontally to my belt.
Cheers for the tips 👍👍
American: Hatchet fer Choppin'. British: Hatchet for Wood Processing. 😁
👍👍
Firesteel/Weapon haha! Great setup mate.
Really interesting video. I've never thought if a survival belt, but living in London, I wonder if I really need one? Would not hurt I guess. Keep up the awesome work!
Yeah I kind of imagine if you was walking through Hyde park wearing that belt the Met would have you in Holloway in about 5 minutes😂😂😂
Maybe a great option if London goes on lock down 👍👍
Bushwacker Man .......way things are going with the country I wouldn’t be surprised at anything that happens
Survival belt, good option...I like your survival belt.....nice video
Wee Dram... I can see the headlines now, Bushwacker Man drunk in charge of a Saracen - hehe
Excellent movie!
Looks cool. Problem is with a backpack. Than its all in the way.
bro holy crap that ferro rod had me in STITCHES, comedically large. oh man... Just as an aside be really careful using whisky as an antiseptic, it's not ideal for a few reasons. Thanks for showing us your gear.
👍👍
Hi dean
Very good idea for having your gear with you amazing all that gear on a belt.?
Keep up the great work mate and keep your self safe 😄😄
Cheers John 👍👍
I need to get myself one of them Rambo belts ;) great video dude. see you very soon.
Cheers mate looking forward to it 👍👍
What about some hooks to hang your pots and pans.
That’s an enormous one you’ve got there Bushwacker man.😂😂 If you don’t want to paint the top of your ferro rod, just put some orange paracord on it. That way it will show up if you leave/ drop it on the floor. 👍🏻
Cheers Andy great idea 👍👍
Great kit my friend ! All very useful items 👍
Thanks 👍👍
On your ferro rod you could use orange paracord instead of the black. Also you may want to carry another ferro rod incase you wear out that little one Ha! Ha! Take care, Sam Adler
Owning a Saracen apocalypse ready
👍👍
ive also made one love it. great vid
Nice work! 👍👍
Love the Saracen for your background in this video. Does it belong to you or what is the story with it? I also love your belt kit! I have been slowly working on one myself.
The Saracen belongs to my neighbor. Good luck with your belt kit 👍👍
great video and love the fire steel :))
Brother Awesome Batman Belt! This Amazing Rig yours??? It's a Beast! Best Regards and Keep Safe!
Thanks, you too! 👍👍
U got more than batman on your utility belt
Love the belt...
HOLY UTILITY BELT BATMAN ......
As we Americans say; Spot On! Great belt kit & suggestions too. I wonder if Oban single malt make a small flask? Hmmmm:-)
That ferro rod is ridiculous. My belt kit weight is probably half the weight of yours. I think as you carry it more, you'll definitely thin it out, just get a larger canteen to balance the weight. One of those swiss m84's filled with hard whiskey.
Love your family to bits watch you and Becky all the time .......I know you have to make a living from these videos and I fully support that..... But for the first time and hopefully the last I must say that I know you may be subsidised by supported by sponsors but I have never seen you wearing or using this setup...I know you are trying to help and recommend things but please try and maintain a standard of honestly and good will in your videos...... I just felt this time you went to far and trying to recommend to much unesserry kit for the unissuated in this field..I know you are trying to give a broad perspective but three ferro rods even for you is a bit over the top...like I said before I think what you and your family do is fantastic love all your videos.... But please don't sell out your content for advertising... It doesn't suit your style.... Make it more appropriate to your patreon subscribers....... I'm really sorry if I have upset you or your followers by my comments but I have felt I have to comment on how I feel in order to hopefully see a way of ecorraging a way for people to help with patreon and get proper recommendations on good equipment rather than sponsored ones..........again sorry for the negative feedback but I feel I have to say how I feel

Thanks for your comment, the gear on my belt was a christmas present from my family and subscribers not from a promotional company. i have wanted to build a belt for a while and include my gifts 👍👍
Not sure if someone already commented on this.
Instead of painting the ferro rod top orange and ruin the look of it, just put an orange paracord lanyard instead of that black one.
👍👍
Why would you carry a folding knife unfolded in a sheath when you could put a full tang fixed blade in the same place? 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😂
Great! Thank you.
Nice kit and that beast mobile behind you. What the heck is that thing?
Saracen tank 👍👍
*😎👍 Nice BC Belt ! 😎👍*
Maybe add a fold up saw bud but great belt
Cugi, mount a M134 Mini Gun on that beast you got there..!!!!! 😀😀😀 Best luck ... nice belt....
Interesting video, but you forgot to mention the brands of the various items in the description. Where could I buy them? Greetings from Italy
What are you interested in? 👍👍
Your anorak ?
@@BushwackerMan sorry for the late reply. What about your belt, small hatchet, BIG ferro rod and the pouches on the belt?
Just out of curiosity is there ever enough sun in the UK for a magnifying glass to start a fire?
You have to be skilled in the UK 👍👍
Nice kit
The Ferro rod from hell that one.
Not a fan of neck knives but like the neck match.
Cheers mate 👍👍
Great kit
Just came across you’re channel, good content
New sub, stay safe ATB Del 👍🔥
Thanks for the sub!👍
I like your jacket esp 🎣🙈
Holy mate I see the tank type buggy and all the gear on your belt made me think...Gee look Bushwacker Batman...joking by the way...great stuff...LOL.
Who is going to be Robin 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan Robin would have a hell of a time keeping up with the Bushwacker...lol
You been taking ideas from my belt old boy be honest lol
Yes you have a great belt kit, you gave me the insensitive to make one 👍👍
Nice set up. Well thought out. Good stuff.
So… we’re just not going to talk about the APC? 😂😂
👍👍
Have you ever spent the night in the woods with it ???.
Yes with my other gear 👍👍
You have a nice setup on your utility belt, but you have too much on your belt in my opinion. I keep my main knife, canteen, multi-tool, and one light on my belt. Everything else is in my backpack including most of my food. After being in the military for 24 years I got use to carrying certain items on my person and food was the first to be added and I now use a utility belt which was issued to me along with the canteen issued to me also along with it's case. You almost don't need a backpack since most of what you will need is on your belt.
Cheers Sidney, sounds like you have a great setup 👍👍
the only thing i see you need to add is a larger hand saw and you are complete
👍👍
Instead of painting the handle of your ferro rod way not just put orange paracord on it? Just a thought.
Who's is the armoured PC?
Its in the woodland next to me 👍👍
What kind of jacket and pants are you wearing?
ESP fishing jacket, Fjallraven trousers 👍👍
Well what can one say
What whisky?
hi m8 i am ex guards were did you get the lighter from please many thanks
'wish' website 👍
whats the names of the lighter please
@@BushwackerMan
Its a twin flame turbo lighter👍
Suspenders or it will get irritating. Can't stand a weighted belt. Suspenders let you loosen the belt
👍👍
When Batman goes camping. . .
I wish you could add a good handgun to it as well 😉
👍👍
i'll never understand why people do not take a lighter with them along with their kit... it just makes zero sense. if i had to make a mini survival kit i'd put a mini map + Compass + mini lighter + swiss army knife + mini led light and that would just be in a altoid can i would still take more important things like a gun, water, radio, food, shelter, cloths, first aid. but ultimitaly i would never go out into the wilderness just to go out i'd have to be in full survival mode as a last resort type of thing.
👍👍
heat rock and place in water in cup
👍👍
Can list all the item in the comments please.
What items do you need a list of ? most are covered in the video 👍👍
@@BushwackerMan is it possible to list all the items in the video in the comments by any chance? Doesn't have to be super detailed in the make or type. For example "knife" would do if that's okay? Easier for me to follow cos the video is long haha. Sorry! 😞 hope that'd okay?
