Thanks for watching, definitely give it a try. I think you will both really enjoy making these 🤗🌹 and you don't have to fill your pyramid mold all the way up. You can make mini pyramids like this one 🤗
I am fixing to make some with roses my husband bought me! You’re video encouraged me! Maybe you can come check out my results when I make my video this week!
That sounds amazing, let me know how it turns out. I'm drying some more roses right now to make more. Thanks for watching. Lmk when your video is posted and I'll check it out.
Thank you so much Brandy and thanks for watching 🤗💙 I tried to start on another one of these today but I added too much blue pigment. The blue would have taken away from the rose. Off to plan B 😁 So if you try it with the blue definitely only add a tiny bit of blue 😅💙
Hi! I've been watching your videos for a while now. I came to look at your holographic coasters. I have all the supplies. Anyway, I make a lot of pyramids and I have a little tip for you that I learned from another artist who caught my mistake and told me how to fix it. It's very simple. When you pour the first layer in the pyramid, just pour a little bit first, and use a toothpick to pop the air bubble that will firm at the pointy tip! Then pour the rest of the first layer after. I see the partial popped bubble on your pyramid tip when you demold it. That's it! Thanks for passing along the baby powder tip! I had been using a water/dish soap mix to coat the inside but an going to try the baby powder. 🙂
Awesome, thanks so much for that tip. This one did have a bubble in the tip. I didn't notice that darn bubble until I demolded it. Oy 😅 thankfully I didn't fill it up all the way on this one. Thanks for watching 🤗
Awe thank you so much 🤗🥰 Definitely try it. I promise it's so easy. Make a small one like this first, just in case it doesn't turn out how you like. My Biggest tip is to make sure there's not a bubble in the tip of the pyramid mold. Pour a little resin in like an 1oz or 2oz. 99% of the time this causes a bubble to get stuck in the tip of the mold. Gently dislodge it with a silicone paintbrush, toothpick etc. Then you will be good to finish pouring. Also it might be good to seal the flowers before you use them. In case they leak air bubbles while the resin sets up. You could seal them with resin. Dip them into some clear. Then insert the stem into a piece of Styrofoam stem side down so they're standing upright while the resin dries. An upside down egg carton would work too. That will seal the flowers so they don't leak air. Several coats of clear spray paint will work too 🤗
Thank you 🤗💟🥀 I'm working on one with a big full size rose right now. Hope to finish it soon 😁 thanks for watching so many of my videos 🤗 I appreciate you 💟🥀
FYI. i have found that stopping a lot of the bubbles, when pouring, is when i take the silicone spatula and putting it down into the mold. i pour the resin on the spatula at the top and let it follow the stick down to the mold. it stops from most of the bubbles from forming. hope that makes sense. i am a visual person, not a writing one. i am going to try this one today except i will be using a few lavenders. i have lots of dried rose buds that i will also try.
That's a great idea, I will Try that next time. Thank you so much. The bubble struggle can be so frustrating sometimes. Especially on projects like this 💜
Beautiful Tish. I have the pyramid mold and the Diamond resin. Just waiting for my grandson to come and make it with me. You are one talented lady. Thanks for sharing.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Having clear resin coasters for a while and seeing them yellow i now also add a tiny tiny bit of blue to my resin if i am doing a clear also.. that being said this Tish is absolutely the prettiest pyramid i have ever seen!! and lots of folks do them.. i do not. but i am thinking hard on something i could use for those tiny tiny rose buds... 🌹 😁, Rose
Awe thank you 🌹 that means the world to me. I've had this idea in my head for a while and finally tried it. Great idea to add the blue to coasters with lots of clear. I'm going to do that too. I've found they all yellow over time. Even the ones that claim to have extra u.v. protection still yellow. 😅

Thank you, I found the links. Im still confused on if the flowers have to be dried out or can I use fresh flowers?
They have to be dried, fresh flowers will rot and turn brown. Hang them upside down for 2 - 3 weeks to dry. That's what I did with mine.
does the alcohol cause any problems while using it to pop the bubbles
No
how long did you wait for each layer to pour the next as are they see able the layers i would like them not to be xx
