Beautiful guitar and great playing. Thank you so much for paying tribute to a lot of famous musicians that are no longer with us. You Rock Michael. 👍🎸😎✌️
This exact guitar is my all time dream guitar...been drooling over pictures of these things since I was a kid. And LOVE that Jen is keeping the sideways wiggle stick term from Mark alive. 😊 Keep up the great work and I'll keep watching.
These iconic guitars from the sixties have unbeatable tone. They truly are the history of rock. Lemmo is the perfect player to demo these amazing instruments from the past and bring them to the forefront of today's resurgence. This guitar is way too expensive but a must have for any serious musician.
Didn’t think that Lemmo would go the AcDc. That he’d hold back. Clearly it’s too much to hold back on. My favourite songs too, “girls got rhythm” plus “sin city”. Nice work crew!
they sound so sharp and bitey.. i love the tail pieces even if people don't like the sideways. much like the trucks version, just reminds me of a chromed out muscle car
A beauty....I used to have an early 60's SG les paul many years ago...sold it whilst working in Germany before travelling around...hindsight is a great thing but thats life!
If ever there was a more brilliant demo of how to play over a very short loop, then I've never seen one. That first segment is astounding. Fabulous guitar tones . . . and I'm rarely a fan of the SG.
LOL! Jenn is just about ready to do a spec check for Lemmo!!! See an SG and pow - Santana, Iommi, Zappa - so many great players and of course Sister Rosetta! That guitar screams 60s!
Allways turn on my Peavey Ultra Tube Amp , and take one of my Guitars and play with Michel's loop version. Great sound and great sounded SG. Always thinking what is the next guitar of the day in Lemmo's hands.
Not surprised Mike went all man bros. Guitar reminds me of Santana I know he differs in his choice. A bonus PAF in an all round find of a guitar. Delicate thunder w. The rusty rock of Angus.the Cat.
Bought my '62 Les Paul SG from Alex Music, NYC in '75 for.....$600.00. There were two in the window, one with the vibrato, one without. I opted for the one w/o the vibrato as I never played with one anyway. PAF pickups, '50's wiring, Grover tuners (the guy who had it before me put the Grovers on.) Only drawback with these is the neck - they call these "soft necks" because if you push too hard you'll go up in pitch about a quarter tone. Other than that, these guys wail. I find these LP SG's have the best "woman" tone with the neck p/u rather than a LP Standard, just my opinion. Best string gauge - the 120+ from D'Addario. 10's are too heavy, 9's too light. The 120+ are slightly heavier but not too heavy. Got these tips from Paul Reed Smith, who I met and talked with at a guitar show many years ago. Sadly the NYC shops are gone, real shame. At the time, you could get real buys on guitars and basses. Paid $400.00 for my Fender Precision at We Buy Guitars, NYC. Man, I miss those days....
I must admit Im not a fan of the Looper Yes the player can accompany himself on the guitar and get fuller performance But I LOVE IT when you let loose and wale on that thang!!
yeah, I had one from 1961 completely condition from this time with the black-yellow case, my former wife hate it when I have more than one love, because I give it away
Why they ever went to that ugly big pick guard on the SG, is beyond me. This, is truly what I've always loved about SG's. I don't even mind them with dot inlays. But these pick guards, RULE.
Listen guys... ONCE AGAIN there will be ZERO demonstration of the sideways vibrola... This trem system is almost never used... It's almost impossible to find a video of someone actually using it. Same goes for the maestro vibrola... As a strat trem fan, and a huge SG 61 fan I've always hesitated to buy a 63 or 64 just to get a trem system on my SG. Unfortunately, there are ZERO demos on UA-cam... I am now convinced no one will ever use that sideways trem, let alone make a video about it... Im conclusion, for now, I have zero evidence that these maestro and sideways trem are actually USABLE.
Please 🙏 tell me if you had one, if you think it's usable or if it's just an esthetic thing in the end... Thanks. I'm done looking for someone demoing it...
There's a demo of an Italian guy absolutely rocking one on here somewhere. He rips all sorts of amazing stuff like Jeff Beck on rails. The one on his SG worked fine .. as with any vibrato they need carefully stetting up. I wish I could find that video for you.. :(
Sideways wiggle stick....nice homage to Mark Agnesi Jen!👍🎸
Beautiful guitar and great playing. Thank you so much for paying tribute to a lot of famous musicians that are no longer with us. You Rock Michael. 👍🎸😎✌️
Second that.
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, nice song to open on. Jason Isbell does a killer cover of that live

Clearly, Jen loves a sideways wiggle stick 😂
Diamonds and dust
Not a fan of SG’s but there is no denying that is one hellacious sound.
Early 60s a true rock machine! Pete and his lads set the world afire. if i could have one. Thanks ML,
What a beautiful piece of music, Mike did Dickie justice.
Didn’t think that Lemmo would go the AcDc. That he’d hold back. Clearly it’s too much to hold back on. My favourite songs too, “girls got rhythm” plus “sin city”. Nice work crew!
Been awhile since I heard Sin City!
Beautiful sounds from that beautiful guitar. Wonderful playing that demonstrates how good SGs are.
Love me some Lizzie Reed! Nice guitar! That’s a showpiece for sure!!!
Wow sounds beautiful!🎸♥️✨

Total respect to that guitar..
Gorgeous SG/Les Paul! Great playing from Lemmo as well. In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed was killer! And the sideways wiggle stick-Jen knows!
Legend has it
Once lemmo entered sin city, that Lemmo gave girls rhythm.
Elizabeth Reed was beautiful. I wanted more
LOL! Jenn is just about ready to do a spec check for Lemmo!!!
See an SG and pow - Santana, Iommi, Zappa - so many great players and of course Sister Rosetta! That guitar screams 60s!
That was awesome. I thought I was gonna get back in black riffs at some point!🥱masterfully done!
I can't say I've heard Lemmo do too much Allman Bros., but that was great! Very special treat.
The boy’s got rhythm.
Rock Machine, indeed!
gots my G400 on a stand now (rotate) but loved Jen chiming in with the Sideways Wiggle Stick.
The Cadlilac of Gibsons.
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.
Honestly my dream guitar 🔥
Allways turn on my Peavey Ultra Tube Amp , and take one of my Guitars and play with Michel's loop version. Great sound and great
sounded SG. Always thinking what is the next guitar of the day in Lemmo's hands.
Man I would love to have that. Same age as me😎😎. Sounds amazing!
Wow what a killer sound. Go SG 🎉
"Tremolo/Vibrato" may be divisive, but "Sideways Wiggle Stick" is something everyone can agree on.
Awesome guitar
SG Custom Guitar my favorite
Bring on the dancing girls and put the champagne on ice, just superb cheers Lemmo 🎸🎸🎸🎸

Rockin' version of Sin City!
Awesome thanks
Great playing Lemo, killer SG❤
Sideways Wiggle Stick, debut album coming soon.
That SG has a little Santana tone to it ….
Love these videos! Cannot get enough. Also cannot buying old guitars because of this, and it’s your fault!
I must admit Im not a fan of the Looper Yes the player can accompany himself on the guitar and get fuller performance But I LOVE IT when you let loose and wale on that thang!!
Very nice ABB rendition of Elisabeth Reed …. Oh I bookmarked this….
This ounds sooo f'ing good!

Sooo good!
First part reminds me of Robbie Kriegers tone...
Sideways wiggle stick Tuesday today ..... That's cool !!!!!!
yeah, I had one from 1961 completely condition from this time with the black-yellow case, my former wife hate it when I have more than one love, because I give it away
When I see and hear a guitar like this Michael, It's a Long Way to the Top if you want to ROCK & ROLL.
What kind of loop pedal are you using?
He uses a TC Electronic Ditto Looper.
Lemmo giving a nod to the greatest SG player of all time, Jack Black 🤟🏻
The last song Mike played sounded like "I Like To Rock" by April Wine. Am I right?
Sin City AC/DC. Live 1979 Paris is the one.
How much is this guitar?
Shout out Wiggle sticks!
Very Nice Michael! What is the looping pedal that Lemmo is using?
He uses a TC Electronic Ditto Looper.
@@jasonpatton9962 Thanks Jason ;)
Sad news, Jack Sonny of dire straits has died, rip Jack.
I think that is my guitar. Lost it to a pawn shop in 1978.
In a blind test I'd never guess it was an SG...sounds great though
Santana!
Girls got rhythm, back seat rhythm…
girls got rythym!
Rock on Lemmo amazing ❤
Girl got rhytm
If that was an hour long I would have stayed to the end.
Tune that e string lemmo come on man ..we know ya heard it

Van Halen!
👌😎

Why are SG’s so rare on GotD?
Sounds like it was made for your hands, Mike. Better snap that one up for yourself!
Jesus Loves You
Yah. Just go ahead and hand deliver it to me.
#NRGFREEBOOK
This definitely settles it. p90s sound better than the paf pups.
Killer AC/DC tones tho mane
And again you never hit the whammy bar, because it’ll knock it out of tune.....
Sorry, but audio is awful on this video

now i`am divorced, but the one don´t will come back. Iám still alive the Killer guitar don´t kills me
Gibson guitars rule!
My fingies are twitching!!!
Ugh...sideways arm is an absolute deal breaker.
They can be made to work. Or just block them off like a hard tail strat. No biggie.
