Have the same guitar, only a little earlier, SG Les Paul Jr. It is the most sensitive P90 monster tone machine ever, weighs nothing, plays like butter, more voices than the Mormon Tabernacle choir depending on how you twirl the knobs and strum the strings. I tell people, "I fed myself for years with this guitar!" Then again, back then I only weighed 142,,,,,,,,thanks a million!
Another bucket list guitar I can't afford but, she sure is a great example and Lemmo plays Uncle Ted what more could you ask for ?!! Thank you Norm and Jen !!!
Hi All, I can’t believe the Rockin sound coming out of that Jr. Great playing Lemmo I’m sure you had something to do with it. Thank you Norman. Your all right with me I don’t care what Joe says about you. I will take good care of that beautiful 65...My YOB also! 🖤😎👍🔥💙⭐️🙏☮️🕊🦋🕊✌️
Great seeing Norm here,,,,like he said "I want it to go to a good home...." Gots 2 P90 axes here, Thank goodness,,,,(cheap stuff). Every arsenal needs one. Rock on, Norm, Michael and Jen.
Leslie West used to go to pawn shops, when he was touring, and buy up Juniors. That was sold as a student guitar. I love the idea of one pickup. I always felt that other pickups have to grab some of the sound.
That almost 60 year old guitar looks like it came off the showroom floor yesterday, with all the original case candy too! I still want the Brian Ray signature model, I think that's designed around the 1963 model? The necks changed during those early 1960 years, I like them chunky now, even with my little hands and fingers.
I had a 1961 SG Junior look just like that, I still have the pick up for it. It's a soapbar pick up I do believe.. I need to rewind it but I need to get it done. I've had it for like 40 years
To think that this was the budget friendly student guitar back in 1965! I was born in the wrong era. It sounds killer, like you could take this out of the case and record with it asap.
Yes indeed. Killer stuff. I own a 61 only because of a headstock repair but killer. These guitars in all original condition are not attainable for regular peops, but not 100% og doesn't mean they still don't have that mojo
Hey so umm. I'm gonna comment this on each one of these videos that do it. Stop putting "rare guitar" in all caps at the end of the video title. Its boomer shit and cringe. You're Norman's Rare Guitars. It's implied. You don't need to go all 2011 click bait with your titles. They were fine as they were. With all due respect...
Iconic 60s design the sleeker 60s pickguard and humming p90. Rock machine.the Cat.

Incredible! Just an out and out rock machine.

Cat scratch fever!
I was sure that was some Ted Nugent!!
In 1965 they were still making small guitars that sound better than many big ones today.
Mr. Harris best wishes.
My first electric. This guitar and a Sears 1484 was the first gear of us boomers.
2:03 Ted Nugent - Stranglehold
4:53 - AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Into Cat Scratch Fever
@@comajoebuck999 apologies I missed that. Don't really know TN.
@@Johnlemmo451 -no worries, easy to do
I love my 60s SG. Such great guitars.
my grandpa gifted me his ‘65 sg jr a few years ago, super cool to see it on this channel!
When Norm opens the video, you know it’s going to be extra special.
Nice to see you so well, Norm!! What a great guitar!!! Cheers from Brazil!
What an amazing sounding guitar outstsnding! Great GOTD Michael and Jen. Thanks to Norm for letting this one loose !!!
Give us more GIBSONS!!!!!😍
Talk about Lemmo picking the right songs for each guitar, and then playing great. Heavy, in this case. Red E

Damn who would not want to own that Legendary Guitar !!
Theres nothing junior about it....HUGE!
I thought the first two songs were illegal in California. That's okay, I won't tell! 😂
Side note; the third one is my ringtone.
Great seeing Norm here,,,,like he said "I want it to go to a good home...."
Gots 2 P90 axes here, Thank goodness,,,,(cheap stuff).

Rock on, Norm, Michael and Jen.
Norm seems such a nice guy...😊
WOW!!!!
I'm sold. Thanks all.
That's the rock sound right there!
Every time he opens a case she says” wow”,, 😊😊
Thanks amazing guitar and sound
all Jrs with the low guard are beautiful, you can probably still smell the lacquer on this baby.
oh yea nice guitar and playing some awesome tunes makes it extra special !!!
Uncle Ted! Nice job Lemmo.

Now this is what I want to hear on that thing! Thanks Lemmo !!
And the first song is a uncle Ted Favorite of mine! Same with the second one! Very cool old SG!

Great licks. Play that old time rock and roll!
How it sounds so good ? Is there any drive beside ? The super reverb gives it all ! ❤️
My first guitar at 16 years old
That tone!!
Sounds great!! Love you man !!

Bought one new in 2019 loved it cranking p-90.
Great guitar! And Jenn is awesome, keep up the good work ❤

LOVED THE CAT SCRATCH FEVER LICK MIKE, THAT'S YET ANOTHER KILLER AXE, RESONATED FOREVER.
Let's gooo!!!!!!
Awesome set Lemmo! Awesome video Jen!
Cat scratch sounded great. Keep it up!
Nice! You won’t see many ‘65 Jrs. with the wider neck width at the nut, smaller pickguard and dog-ear P90.
That guitar has one purpose in life. To rock hard and steady. 😮
I always wanted a 65 sg Jr. Nice!
I don’t think I saw Ted lean an SG Junior on the stack and walk off while it squealed for 5 minutes, but I wasn’t in the condition to remember much…
Lemmo definitely should be put in the Norm's Warehouse 😂
Amazing sound!

Good Lord, it doesn't feel right looking directly at that thing - too pretty. And to start with Nugent...man after my own heart, Lemmo. Thanks guys!
Looks like it already sold. No surprise.
Sounds amazing! What overdrive pedal are you using?
Michael You need a Byrdland to sound like Uncle TED
Rockin...
What else do you need an electric to do? I don’t need the bells and whistles
Way Cool Junior.
Wonder what Norm's string budget is
Nice guitar
Thanks for sparing us the loincloth
Sick 🤘🏼
Does Lemmo write any of his own songs, instead of other band's music?
Monster 👹
I love your "wartsanall" vibes Jen. Great vids guys and girls, every time! Thanks!
Lemmo looks so young because he’s been preserved in Bong Juice
Old Ted 🤍 Crank
one pick-up . . . Where's Phil X?
I had a '69 SG Special that I didn't keep long because of those narrow nuts. That would be the only deal breaker with this beauty.
I need to get myself an SG
Play thru a Fender Supersonic 22!
Would love to hear George Lynch play In the spirit of on that guitar. Just saying.
Killer!
So how much?
Aesthetically v cool. Raw lone p90 rattlely rocker.
woooooooooo
Who needs two pickups....
Speaking of well preserved 😂
ooooweeee
Still not as cool as a Strat but I'd take it! 😂
I hope ted watches this
Finally Lemmo some Ted Nugent
Is Lemmo "well preserved", or just pickled? 😆
strangle hold cat scratch fever highway to hell...oh and my shirt size large
I don’t even want to know the price, it will shatter my dreams
What do you think, $50k?
@@kw7292 could be
👍🏻✌❤😎
Great guitar … far toooooooo much gain for me
Lemmo is more interested in his playing than demonstrating pickups of guitar as usual
It's only got one fucking pickup
