I was one of the dozer operators on day shift on that project. Was really nice talking to the very much appreciative locals every day during our shift change. I hope it stays for a few years for you all to enjoy. Nice to see our state tax dollars bring some enjoyment to folks. 🤙
I have a little condo at the Regency Tower's and I was able to watch this whole process. It was unbelievable! These folks worked there buts off 24hrs a day to get this complete. I want tp thank our Mayer and the Governor and the NJDOT for working together to make this happen. It's wonderful!!! 😎
@4runner4summer that's a stupid question, of course. East, Gulf and West coast. Caribbean islands, various country's in South America and Europe. So what's the point of your meaningless question?
The beaches look great. The sand looks so white and the ocean looks so clear. The North Wildwood beaches were always the best in my summers spent in North Wildwood (early 1960's), and I'm glad to see this still continues. Great job to all involved.
18 million $ and its only temporary! Its amazing that Wildwood still offers free beaches, despite the tremendous financial pressure and cost to keep the North beaches above water.
What’s the deal with the update on the old Royal Hawaiian?? My family stays there every summer and we’re excited to see all the work Madison resorts has done.
So probably one of the most critical areas, by Sportland/Surfside/Dino piers, just got left to continued damage by the ocean instead of building it up? Wow.🤯

God keep these precious beaches safe and sound and alive for centuries to come ! Amen❤
Who can possibly watch that drone footage and say NJ beaches are horrible. You are The Wildwoods best ambassador.
Have you ever visited a beach outside of NJ?

Thanks to all the hard workers that got it done too!
Congratulations Wildwood! Now all can enjoy!

I just returned to new Jersey 2 days ago after visiting family in Maryland for a month in a half. Ill check it out by the 4th of July 😊
Nice
Looks great! It’s almost too big now, but I get some will wash away.
Cool video Joey
Not complete, we go to the 2nd street beach and it’s under water.. Why did you stop and not do 2nd street?
Great video as always! Any word on if beach tents are allowed back on the beach now since project is done?

All that sand and effort will be washed away by December 1, 2024, and the North Wildwood Beach will be back to the way it was in April 2023.
Have a question, do Canadian people still come down to Wildwood for vacation during the summer months?
How long will it last?
Not long enough. :(
Until offshore hurricane arrives. Not long at all.
No one knows! But let's hope it will last until the permanent solution is started.
Sorry for taking your sand Joey WWCrest resident
