As a native of Cumberland county, who drove to the shore many times, all year long, and it's sad to see yet ANOTHER historical landmark be torn down 😢😢😢😢😢
It would have made a nice 1-2 family home or doctor/lawyer/real estate office if it had been sold 40-50 years ago. I have to compliment shore people on how well they maintain houses. The ocean, wind, and sun are unrelenting. A standing structure that’s 150-175 years old that’s in great shape means there were 5-6 families that worked their butts off for two centuries on maintenance.
We had goshen day there we had a few Halloween party's i ran with goshen Fire Company we tried multiple times to save the school house it was are hang out we used the tennis court to play street hockey with other twp kids goshen is not the same anymore only few original goshenite are left
The new school that got built and opened this fall 2024 is on the spot of the school I went to. This school was suppose to have been built and opened by 202 but than pushed to 2022 etc. I wished it kept getting pushed til Jan 2025 as than my school woulda been 100 and be historic. But watching this and seeing what is happening to over 100 yr old building makes me wonder if they new stupid school still woulda happened if it didn’t break ground til after Jan 2025.
