What a lovely trip and I agree with you about the music; I'd rather have a more accurate experience. At least now and then. Compromise? Musicless flight once in a while?
I know this is a 10 month old flight, but, any specific reason why did you decide to do this with the BlackHawk and not with the Scout that you usually use?
First off, really enjoy your paravlogs....great flying, video, and commentary....unique! I've been flying about 7 years now..a question.....what the heck would you do if you were up on top of that mountain and the motor died? Were there places to land? And how the heck could you get a car up there to get you back home? Keep up the great videos. It's winter up Chicago way and can fly vicariously through you and your cohorts....good stuff...stay safe...have fun...keep the videos coming!!
There are updrafts over that mountain as well which he could use somewhat to get more distance. The awesome thing about the PPG is that you land more like a helicopter, meaning you don't have a bunch of ground roll like a fixed wing.
Amazing scenery! You really have me interested in learning more about paramotors. I don't think the scenery from above will be as amazing down here in Florida.
i love the delaware water gap. that is where i go camping. it is so beautiful out there, i cant imagine how awesome it would be flying over it. i really need to get into paramotors i am thoroughly interested thanks to your videos.
Hey Tucker, love your videos!!! Ive done the A.F.F. Skydiving so i didnt have to be connected to instructor, bungie jumping countless times and parasailing twice. Im seriously thinking of taking up paramotoring, you have mentioned that total cost would be about 10k to get going on your own. What are the requirements by law as far as lessons/licenses and/or permits or instructed hrs. before your free to go solo as u do??? I love the idea of paramotoring cuz you have the peacefulness of parasailing with the control to stay up and go almost where you please...
Excellent flight Tucker! Love the scenery at Water Gap. Very inspiring. I need to get out of my comfort zone and go for a long flight like this soon. Thanks for sharing.
+PPGFlyr Definitely man! I always wondered how practical a flight like this would be and it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. I'm hoping to do a lot more cross country flying when the weather warms up. Fly safe!
Nice flight. Any reason why you went trims in the whole time or is that just how the video got edited? Seems like you could get to your destination a bit faster in a bit of reflex mode. I fly a nucleon and love to go trimmed out a bit after take off.
For this flight, I stayed trims in to be as efficient as possible. In another video I have of flying to Blairstown, I went trims out for more speed but found I burned a little more fuel. Fly safe! :)
Tim Barry Hey man! The plastic part where the cooling fan sits broke apart so there was nothing to support the shroud. I only had it off for a few flights though.
ok sick video. im loving the view of the gap. I grew up there, and was learning to fly gliders in Blairstown. im totally sold, i have to get a scout PPG and go for training in FL. I just heard the flite Test guys went down for a course too.
have you ever thought of installing a mirror with a clamp on your propeller cage so you could look at your fuel level in flight? I think it would be a convenient thing.
Couldn't you just put a a couple radiator clamps on that rubber spacer holding your muffler on and that would stop it from sliding? Not sure, cuz I know nothing about para-motors "YET". I am planning on getting into them real soon. I like the black hawk for me because I saw you were able to get parts with in a week and rebuild your engine. That is right up my alley. Thanks for the video, Thumbs up.
So, you may have covered this somewhere, but how does it work for you when you just randomly come in to land at an airport? Do you have to contact ATC at all?
Thank you! I really appreciate that. I don't really have any specific career aspirations. I would love to make a living in action sports like skydiving, paramotoring, speedflying, and base jumping. Anything to avoid a 9-5. ;) That would be the best!
seen your other questions about this. YOU CONSIDER THE WEATHER.. If a front is coming in, you are more careful and mostly don't fly that day. It takes some responsibility to research the weather and you don't just strap in and fly whenever. You can usually get a feel for the weather after doing that then going to your site and seeing how it feels. If a storm were to suddenly develop, then you just emergency land away from your vehicle and get a ride back. Why wouldn't you consider that you just land when you see or feel bad weather?
Hey Tucker, I just saw a video of someone dropping a toilet paper roll from a few thousand feet then following it down. Have you ever tried that? I'm sure it takes a few minutes to clean up but it looked like a blast!
Anyone watching. I am interested in Paramotoring. My first concern is finding places near me that I can legally fly out of without violating Police or FAA regulations. This doesn't seem to be an issue for these paramotor videos. I just don't know where to have these questions answered. I live in Southern California and I don't have a 5 acre back yard like some of these pilots. Sure I can find a park, buuuuut I think someone is gonna raise a stick. Can you please direct me to how I can get these questions answered..Thank you.
... So i am thinking that you carb has been pulling hard lungers chemtrail- wise. Then I realized that perhaps your too. I don not have a Paramotor but have down with the illness since before you got yours. Just sharing. You might consider breathing filter ...
Hi JdK. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I believe they can get your fatness into the air. They have wings that handle tandems and while I am not a expert, I believe they can get up to 300 lb people in the air. However you might not be able to foot launch...maybe a quad paramotor? Make it an excuse to loose some lbs. I lost about 75lbs and now at 175, didn't do it for paramotoring but glad I might be able to foot launch like Tucker:)
+Tucker Gott OR parts you know will have to be replaced sitting in a box on a shelf in the shop! You can't have fun when the toys aren't treated as a necessary item in the garage! Yep, even rebuilt kits for carbs and that piston you put back in. Those small parts when Murphy speaks can bring fun to a halt! Hey, how is the piston holding out or did you replace it after the bearing gouged the piston and cylinder? Didn't you put it back in that way or did you get a new rebuild kit? What was the total time on your flight? If you only burned, what, 3/4 tank and had a head wind heading out then your play time over the gap do you figure out your gas use by MPG or HFPG or Hours of Fun Per Gallon? ;)! Why is the exhaust slipping down the rubber spacer? Is the rubber smooth or rough? Would roughing the exhaust and the rubber with a 220+ grade of sand paper to make the 2 sides that slip have a "grip" to help to hold it in place? Ask in the forums or a mechanic. It would not hurt to try and report a quick fix if it works. It's not going to damage or change any diameters so much a clamp can't do it's job which it seems to be failing at anyway and it's not even a comedic problem as it can't be seen. How about 2 clamps, 1 on the muffler and the other on the exhaust pipe with a piece of safety wire run between the two to hold them in place. OR, If you are good at welding then 2 small hooks facing away from each other on the exhaust and pipe, polish it as well as you can and then use the safety wire between them? They aren't going to slip and even the rubber will stop sliding out if it gets to the hook on the pipe. Heck, hide the work on the front facing side or hard to see area. Sorry, but my AC engineering education I never used keeps coming back to haunt me! You have way to much fun! LOL! Blue Sky's and Safe Journeys!
great video! thank you for not ruining it with loud music. I really enjoy the motor and wind noise
What a lovely trip and I agree with you about the music; I'd rather have a more accurate experience. At least now and then. Compromise? Musicless flight once in a while?
Wow Nice flight! Makes me really miss flying, shoulda never sold my gear. Thanks for posting
I know this is a 10 month old flight, but, any specific reason why did you decide to do this with the BlackHawk and not with the Scout that you usually use?
Did he have the Scout in other videos published around the same time?
Hey! I'm pretty sure I had the Scout at this time, if I remember right I was waiting for a new gasket to come for the Scout.
First off, really enjoy your paravlogs....great flying, video, and commentary....unique! ----- I would imagine that experienced pilots use altitude + wind vectors to allow them a glide buffer to a safe zone if the motor fails.
There are updrafts over that mountain as well which he could use somewhat to get more distance. The awesome thing about the PPG is that you land more like a helicopter, meaning you don't have a bunch of ground roll like a fixed wing.
greetings from Argentina! i´m a noobie in paramotors flying and i love your videos! they are so cool and inspiring! thanks! keep in there!
Be a falcon 900 or 2000lx driver, it's a great hobby that pays well. Lots of jobs out there. Thanks for answering questions, can't wait to see more...
Wow, after going back to these old videos, I never knew how much louder paramotoring is unlike how it is in your current videos.
awesome video! i hike to the top of that mountain all the time! Do you use a gps to maintain your bearing?
Amazing scenery!
You really have me interested in learning more about paramotors.
I don't think the scenery from above will be as amazing down here in Florida.

One of my favorite videos. Love the gap.
Awesome flight. I need to learn foot launch.
Excellent flight Tucker! Love the scenery at Water Gap. Very inspiring. I need to get out of my comfort zone and go for a long flight like this soon. Thanks for sharing.

I’m new to the PPG scene. So can I ask why you quit BlackHawk and went to Scout? And would you recommend BlackHawk to a newb? Thanks
+TorqdOff I couldn't recommend it because I had so many issues with mine. The Scout is a far superior and advanced paramotor.
Tucker Gott Thanks Tucker. I appreciate your input. I’m super stoked for your success. 👍 How freakin’ cool. Cheers man.
That was you!? lol. Where ya from? I'm in the Water Gap. Do you jump at Sky's the Limit?
That was you?? That's awesome. I jump from Skydive Jersey.
Wait, you were the person on the mountain that he flew over?!
Very nice scenery. Maybe you could do the same flight in the fall during peak color!
Is there a paramotor package similar in price to the BH 125 & Edge wing that you would recommend?
hey tucker, i have the same Blackhawk 125, any reason you don't have the shroud on the top end of the motor?
Tim Barry Hey man! The plastic part where the cooling fan sits broke apart so there was nothing to support the shroud. I only had it off for a few flights though.
Did the blackhawk do good with the cooling shroud removed?
ok sick video. im loving the view of the gap. I grew up there, and was learning to fly gliders in Blairstown. im totally sold, i have to get a scout PPG and go for training in FL. I just heard the flite Test guys went down for a course too.
random question, so if u could of got a paramotor when you where 15/16 years old would you of done it or waited tell you where older?? just curious
He could fly planes solo by the time he was 16/17
Do you try and keep a landing zone reachable if engine goes out?
Yup! Most of the time at least.
I can watch these videos all day lol.
Hi Tucker, so do you think that black hawk has improved there motors?
have you ever thought of installing a mirror with a clamp on your propeller cage so you could look at your fuel level in flight? I think it would be a convenient thing.
another epic video mate well done

I have a question, what is the maximum distance can you fly?
thanks
6:00 that lift though!
Great subscription. I watch daily. Any chance you would know if big fellas can paramotor? I am 6'5" 290 lbs.
The video quality is amazing!!!
I agree. Fantastic video quality. What equipment are you using Tucker?
Steve Williams
He uses go pro brand.
Nice flight :) Thanks
Hey Tucker, whats your avg. speed flying
Jeff Halsey i think like 30mph
What are your career aspirations ? Your an amazing PPG PILOT already ....
Thank you! I really appreciate that. I don't really have any specific career aspirations. I would love to make a living in action sports like skydiving, paramotoring, speedflying, and base jumping. Anything to avoid a 9-5. ;) That would be the best!
awesome but not worried about motor out over trees ?
What kind of weight limits does the typical paramotor have?
Depends on the size.
Were you sloping a little of those hills?
nice flight dude,
Hey Tucker, have you ever thought of entering in the Icurus Trophy on the west coast?
Yeah,he won it.
I'm becoming a very huge fan brah!
What wing you flying with? Size?
Where can I find a cheap possibly used wing?
Do you have flotation protection on your BH?
Yeah, I have a power float but I only install it if I'm intending on flying over water.
sweet flight! I need to meet up with you sometime. I fly a 28m,.... so you might fly circles around me but it would be fun.
So why were you not talking in your videos while flying??
That's rad bro
what if the weather suddenly shakes up and becomes a small storm? do you die then?
seen your other questions about this. YOU CONSIDER THE WEATHER.. If a front is coming in, you are more careful and mostly don't fly that day. Whats the range of a paramotor?
Hey Tucker, I just saw a video of someone dropping a toilet paper roll from a few thousand feet then following it down. Have you ever tried that? I'm sure it takes a few minutes to clean up but it looked like a blast!
Shit ! Was that a semi-frozen lake you flew over ? You wouldn’t want to go down into that mate, would ya ? ,!
do any night flights?

"sick landing brah"
Do you have to request a flight plan to fly?
Trollimus Prime mind your own business buddy!
Trollimus Prime no VFR flights only.
Mrcaffinebean don't feed the troll
can you land on ice with ice skates on now that would be a blast
Do a foot drag and try to kick a soccer ball for a goal with a goalie trying to defend. Would be awesome to see !!!!
I've picked up soccer balls from a foot drag before, will have to film it as a live com sometime.
..I am surprised that you are not using synthetic 2-stroke oil.
I am, amsoil.
... So i am thinking that you carb has been pulling hard lungers chemtrail- wise. Then I realized that perhaps your too. I don not have a Paramotor but have down with the illness since before you got yours. Just sharing. You might consider breathing filter ...
... dyed. Good thing.
And then there is this guy. Holy Shit. Chemtrails. Dude, What the fuck.
.... Are you normally a judgemental nozzle ?
How do I learn to do this?
If you're in the US, check out Team Fly Halo or Aviator Ppg for training.
If I wasn't so fat, I'd get me one of those. Seems like a blast.
Hi JdK. Please don't take this the wrong way, but I believe they can get your fatness into the air. Jon Maynard
Any loose skin issues? Im right at 250lbs of mostly fat right now and want to get down to 175lbs.
Why not fly the Scout dude?
I was replacing some rubber mounts for the starter on the Scout at the time. That's why you always need to have two paramotors. ;)
Tucker Gott Wish I had the $$$ for a second motor right now, but looking at PG training with Aviator PPG IN June.
+Mike Wakefield Awesome! You won't regret training with Aviator ppg.
+Tucker Gott They were awesome for my PPG-2. I've got the same Scout as you and a Nucleon XX.
+Tucker Gott OR parts you know will have to be replaced sitting in a box on a shelf in the shop!

Blue Sky's and Safe Journeys!
how fast can that go
Depends on wind. Typically 12-15 minutes per liter. 10 liter tank is about an hour and a half safely.
Depending on wind, 25- 55 mph typically.
Mach 2 million
4:47 I helped shoot a music video right there... Mount Tammany.
Thats a hellaciouse hike bro!!

When I turn 14 I plan to go to Paramotoring school then get a Paramotor. Only 1 year lol
better start slinging dope and saving your allowance
