Did it work for you? did you have to buy it? Or did you do exactly what he said to buy it and even though you didn't have the item in your hands, did you lie to Amazon telling it that you did?
I created an ASIN in 2015 that’s generated consistent sales. However I’ve suddenly found 3 Hijackers on the ASIN undercutting my prices. As a result I have went and got a pending Trademark and I’m recently registered in the Brand Registry. So, now that I have a trademark and Brand Registry, any recommendations for getting the hijackers off of my listing? I’ve bought their products and they’re a cheap knock offs and the packaging isn’t even close to what I created for the ASIN. Any recommendations for getting the hijackers off of my listing? I’ve bought their products and they’re a cheap knock off and the packaging isn’t even close to what I created for the ASIN.
Thank you really for the tips ! I've been strugling with an hijacker for 1 month and a simple plaint without putting the order number doesn't work. But this might finally work !
Yup it’s the way she goes. But once you’re trademark registered fully you have a ton of control. You also have a legal trademark which gives you a lot of protection in the real world too
i am unable to purchase my product because they created the listing for mexico. They won't let me checkout because i am not using a mexican address. Ive been infringed in mexico and im based in the US. Amazon will not accept removal because my brand is not yet registered. What can i do. I emailed them a threatening letter but they have not responded. Extremely frustrating.
When reporting this now you are required to fill out something that says “by clicking submit you agree to the following” (basically stuff saying it’s in good faith and that you aren’t lying). Is this a problem since we haven’t actually received the purchased item yet?
Good video. Is there any way of getting rid of hijackers if your not brand registered. ?can you buy the product and then open a report a violation case
I keep getting an email response from amazon saying "The order ID you provided was not valid". Any way to get around this? I am sure the order number entered is correct.
@@ItsYaniv Yes, I have purchased the the product using the same seller account. It keeps giving me the same error. Sometimes even after the error, the listing is removed, only to be back the next day. It's strange.

Thanks for the video. I will be trying your method but I had a question: Do you buy the hijackers product from your seller account that you use to sell the same product? Or can I use any seller account to purchase the product? Not sure if it mattered but thought of asking. Thanks in advance
I’ve had 2 of my listings stolen. Twice!! Not hijacked like someone has my same product, but I loose control of my listing and someone is taking the profits. So basically hacked! Why is no one covering this problem. All videos talk about hijackers selling knockoffs.
Thank you for this content, I was able to successfully report one of the hijackers. Now, they keep coming back and i placed new orders from them, but they won't be delivered for another 2 weeks and Amazon does not accept my order ID number saying it's invalid. Any advice? My trademark is still pending by the way. Thanks
Thanks! Question: Our hijacker is turning on and off their offer throughout the day. If we submit the Report a Violation while the hijacker is not on our listing, what will happen?
@@maggietesh4953 I think the only way is to catch them when they are on your listing. Otherwise, we did not have luck. We noticed that the listing from that seller was algorithmically controlled (apparently) because it was on and off at set times of day, so we timed them at the very start of the period. We also hit them with numerous Cease & Desist notices: one per day via the buyer-seller messaging system.

Hi brother what shall I do if amazon themselves are selling under my listing? I have brand registry and trademark registered. We don’t supply to anyone and sell only through our store. Still amazon has the stocks which is my private label. Reported amazon infringement on brand registry and they didn’t accept. Any suggestions?
Hi Lalit, you might have already found your answer, but I thought I should let you know what I know. The products that amazon are selling under your listing are mostly your lost inventory those are already reimbursed to you by amazon, so filling a complaint against amazon won't help. Besides, it's only limited quantity. As soon as those quantity is sold out, you won't see them again until the same thing happen again. Almost all of the seller see the amazon selling their products at one point or the other. This is my understanding. If I am wrong in any way, (anybody) please feel free to correct me.
i get this on the top of the page. Amazon respects a manufacturer's right to enter into distribution agreements for its products. However, breach of such third-party agreements do not constitute intellectual property infringement, and should not be reported through the Report a violation tool.
@@ItsYaniv its not distributor. its just a generic product which i am selling under my brand packaging. hijacker came like bee and set here on my listing.
That's not immoral lying or anything. Because you are the creator of the product, you know the other sellers must be unauthorized or hijackers. There's no way once you receive the product that for some small reason you say "O this is actually a legit listing."
Hi Yaniv, I have a valid trademark I got back in 2020. Recently an FBM hijacker jumped on my listing at $10 higher than me. I placed a test order, and he dropshipped the test order from my FBA offer. How would you proceed since it's not really a counterfeit? 1. Report him to Amazon that he is dropshipping. I know you are not supposed to dropship from marketplaces or retails and this is against Amazon TOS. While this would hurt this seller's metrics, not sure whether it would remove him from my listing? 2. Pretend I didn't know about the dropshipping, and open a case saying this seller is violating my trademark by using my brand name on his packaging and copying my exact box design and that we have never sold this to anyone. Not sure if this is a strong enough argument. 3. Add a warranty to the listing, and that makes them apparently ineligible to sell my product as only the main brand can offer the warranty, but my product is consumables and warranty does not make sense at all. I don't mind lying a bit here and there as what these people do is not fair, but my only concern is if Amazon asks for pictures of the product, I won't be able to prove this is counterfeit because it would look 100% identical to mine if I send the actual photos. I could potentially get my factory to make a dummy sample with my logo on it and send that as pictures of the product I received, but that would cost me sample fee and it would take a long time.
To be honest if it’s not really counterfeit you have no legal grounds here. These are the exact reasons Amazon set themselves up like this. It’s so that the customer can get other options for the same product
