Thanks for the tour, Shadoe, very cool rig! Mad respect for your dad keeping you in line and teaching you the trade. Please honor him by passing on your knowledge and skills to someone coming up in the trades!
I was thinking... How many tools could a plumber have? I stand corrected. It seems like in any trade nowadays, customers will be pissed about how much a 'quick job' costs. This is why. Jobs that used to take hours, now take minutes, but it takes a huge investment to do that. At the end of the day, they need to understand that they still get what they paid for and the jobs done. In most cases, with far less inconvenience to them.
Right, and if someone complains that it got done fast then the question would be, if the flat rate is so much would you like me to keep the water off for another 1 to 2hours like it use to or would you like to use your water and I get out of your personal space and on to another home owner in need?
A skill isn’t ever meant to be based off hourly. Do dentist charge you per hour? A doctor charging by the hour? People don’t usually say hey take longer on my root canal or poke me some more😂😂😂
How many tools could a plumber need ? Huh....plumbers honestly always had to have more tools then any other trade by far..we just don't do one thing with one material never have..you have gas.. water lines.. drainage.. sewer & water...under grounds.. service..roughs.. trims boilers.. heaters..softeners..filtration wells..ect..all require certain tools..and now especially that u have all the different things to do. U have all different materials for each one of them as well
Great setup. A good attitude towards his career is definitely something you don't see anymore. It's probably one of the top videos I've seen good job 👏
Really awesome tour, such an awesome and professional setup, speaks to the quality of the work and a testament to the tools themselves Keep up the great work man!
DUDE!!! Thank- you for finding a Plumber! I really want to see what buddy has and antisapate what to buy in advance instead of waiting for the moment to buy if I was in the jam already.
10:05.. because otherwise you'd need to cut the line, pull it through, then put a new fitting on afterwards...saves time and money..mostly the money associated to the time..👍 Badass setup..
Incredible setup, this why Milwaukee is the best system available. Other systems might offer a cool feature or two, especially the new ones. But Milwaukee set out to offer this type of organization for the professional tradesmen. Excellent video brother, thank you.
All those pipe crimpers together are like 30k alone !!!! Hot Damnnn. Not a plumber but i love your setup. Makes me wanna get wall mounted plates. Love how you put the broom. Gave me an idea for my Sprinter! Thanks for the van tour!
Very nice set up and video. I am not a pro anythingbut, those Milwaukee Twin grips are awesome. Bought the 8" when they came out to keep in my detached garage/shop. Then bought a second 8" to keep in the house because I kept running out o the shop to get them. Now they have the 6" and I am getting those for a small tool kit in my car. I use them more than I ever imagined.
Shadow seems like a guy that takes pride in his work and is personable you don’t really find that in trades men anymore (plumber) and he has great taste in tools Milwaukee has some of the best tools in the market, that truck looks amazing another great video by you tool box tours.
This has inspired me to get my van into better condition. Im a master plumber who owns my own small business. I have a 2010 chevy express 3/4 ton. I have built in metal shelving and a large pull out draw unit mounted to the floor that opens up in the back. I stay pretty organized but sometimes it gets out of hand. Love the viddeo man. Really cool to see another plumbers van.
Yes. I do a lot of service work. I built up a pretty large customer base just on word of mouth over the last 5 years. I also do drain cleaning. I get a lot of work from a major property management company in my area. The service and sewer calls are my most consistent work. But I do a lot of residential remodels that pay the bigger checks. I've been plumbing since I was 18, im now 38. I've only owned my business for 6 years, but it's taken me many, many years to get where I am. I am my only employee because I can't find anyone I trust. I have plumber buddies that help on weekends and nights. I make around 120k a year but I work every Saturday and most days work at least 9-12 hours.
Don't get me wrong, it's not all long hours. I have important customers to satisfy, but I also take time for myself and my wife and kids. I work a lot of hours but after all, I am my own boss. So, a lot of days, I do not start work until 9, or I will take off early if I have had a fked up day. Also I take long ass vacations in the summer. Usually 12-14 day vacations in summer and 7 day vacations on Thanksgiving so I can go out of state for fam. Its alot of hard work and stress, but I can handle that shit. It's a blessing to be able to be your own boss , make your own schedule, and decide your own pricing. It's all about being an honest tradesman, fair pricing, and having the skills to build close relationships with customers and builders. Word of mouth is honestly the best marketing. Fk paying thousands to get ads. My integrity and hard work speaks for itself. If I can do it, anybody can. Just have to work your ass off and never give up and ALways be honest.
Fellow plumber here, the amount of materials and tools you need for this job never ceases to amaze me. Just part of the reason why we charge what we charge. We roll up to your house with 100k worth of tools in the truck easily. Just drowning in tools and wrenches, most underappreciated and difficult of the residential trades.
Nah yall aren’t under appreciated. I’m a tradesman too but in carpentry/locksmithing. I can fix just about anything, but don’t mess with pipes/plumbing issues. I’ll leave it to the pros to work on them and will pay what is needed. 🤝
The key is to take that 2-3 minutes after EVERY single job and put all your tools and stock back in proper place and NEVER skip doing that once, Trust Me , I do it every time and truck stays proper, I have seen the horrors of guys just throwing everything back onto truck lol 🤦♂️
The pack out system is cool but a lot of work! Look how much he has to fight with the lock system to move them. Just to set it at his feet so he can dig through another one or unlock it and have 2 of them at his feet. The dolly they all can go on is cool until you have to go through mud, rain or snow then you wheeling all that right into the customers house. You can put shoe booties on the wheels but they always fall off. As a plumber myself I say have an organized van that you know where things are and you’re good. Go look at what the job is and get the tools you need, no need to drag all that shit in! O ya and no one starts a career at 12 years old man, just say you have 10 years experience lol
Better working for yourself but it’s not easy and it not for everyone unless you have that hustle mentality and know how to communicate and perform repairs and install equipment. Again not for everyone.
I do systainers because I’m a trim carpenter. In my opinion, the packouts are too bulky, there’s too much wasted material on the corners. I know that’s designed for durability, but then you think about how you treat your tools. I’m not letting stuff slide from one end to the other in the back of an empty truck bed. I’m not dropping full boxes of thousands of dollars of tools off of roofs.
Just because a lot of people are retiring and not as many people are joining the trade, that doesn’t mean it’s a “dying” industry. The demand will just be higher. A dying industry would be if automation or AI were taking over the jobs.
As a service plumber, this setup does not work. There's relatively zero stock of material. As a jobbing plumber, this works. Van for tool transport and materials delivered to the site. It's a very nice setup. I just believe it's solely for a jobber. These packouts cannot be brought into a home or apartment for a simple shower body replacement or minor service.
You got a small fortune on parts that you might use parts are beat up and if they fail where did you purchase it for replacement I’m not a charity i run a business if you can’t afford the price of the repairs for your special parts don’t buy them get regular plumbing fixtures
😮Its not good , you need shelves where you can grab stuff and move fast, it takes a lot of time to open the boxes move boxes around and search inside the boxes for parts its a disaster waste of time . Its just looks good organized but its not better then the shelves sry
One of my favorite videos. I’m a Milwaukee fan myself. It’s really nice when you tour tradesmen tools. Doing their work trucks is the cherry on top.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Master plumber here, awesome to see a service van tour like this 🔥💯
Appreciate you stopping by! 👍
Love toolbox tours where every single tool looks like it's being used. Huge respect for this guy and his trade. Great episode!
Cool to see other trades. As a weekend warrior, it's cool to see things i can add to my box for home stuff.
Thanks for the tour, Shadoe, very cool rig! Mad respect for your dad keeping you in line and teaching you the trade. Please honor him by passing on your knowledge and skills to someone coming up in the trades!
Work van tours! Keep them coming.

Huge investment, yes if you purchase overpriced fanbay Milwaukee tools

Looks like the MIlwaukee aisle in Home Depot!! 😅
Really awesome tour, such an awesome and professional setup, speaks to the quality of the work and a testament to the tools themselves Keep up the great work man!
I'm a automotive tool guy, but this fellow really made this interesting and informative!! Well done!
Love to see all these other trades toured aswell
DUDE!!!

Packout envy 😂 I’ve got a glut of Milwaukee tool organizers but this guys got the pro set-up.
Incredible setup, this why Milwaukee is the best system available. Other systems might offer a cool feature or two, especially the new ones. But Milwaukee set out to offer this type of organization for the professional tradesmen.

Thanks for watching and for the kind words! 👍
Love seeing other trades, tool setups! Keep up these videos for sure!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the van tour!
As a plumber this rocks !
This is an amazing tour. I'm a plumber myself and half only a quarter of the stuff this guy has. Wow!!!
Very nice set up and video. I am not a pro anythingbut, those Milwaukee Twin grips are awesome. Bought the 8" when they came out to keep in my detached garage/shop. You mean Knipex twin grip?
I love those, they really are great.
that's crazy I see him day to day glad to see his van tour lol
awesome setup & hardworking, cool ass guy! love the variety of these!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice brother.. Are you doing service work?
What’s the money like?

Being an electrician I’m not a fan of plumbers but I love this guys setup and pride he takes in his trade.
😂😂😂hey, we aren't fans of you either. But we'll respect your rig if it looks as clean as this 😜😜😜
@@jtplumbing6592he's an electrician. His van will always look like a bomb went off.
Your just jealous. I get it I mean Klein couldn’t do this. 😂
Highly impressive friend.I wish you all success in the profession❤
The key is to take that 2-3 minutes after EVERY single job and put all your tools and stock back in proper place and NEVER skip doing that once, Trust Me , I do it every time and truck stays proper, I have seen the horrors of guys just throwing everything back onto truck lol 🤦♂️
Yeah I bet it would be really easy to have a huge mess on your hands if you didn’t straighten up often.
Sweet set up 😮.
I wear two hats. Handyman/mechanic. You can imagine how much equipment I have accumulated over the years.
The pack out system is cool but a lot of work! Look how much he has to fight with the lock system to move them. this is a cool branch off it would be cool to see electricians as well
His shoe covers are awesome just ordered a set I hate the felt pull over throw away ones
Lol definitely a conversation starter.
Very nice van and setup. He should get a bulkhead for safety in case of an accident.
Nice to see something a little different from the channel, would love to see more construction setups in the future !
Thanks, I'll see what I can do!
I feel you man. It’s almost better to work for a great company with benefits than deal with the stress of running your own business.
Totally agree, there's definitely peace of mind with a good job.
Better working for yourself but it’s not easy and it not for everyone unless you have that hustle mentality and know how to communicate and perform repairs and install equipment. Again not for everyone.
That Milwaukee bag being that heavy should be a roller bag with a pullout handle. So you don’t have to pick it up
I do systainers because I’m a trim carpenter.

Nice set up
Plumbers love Milwaukee. Builders and remodeling use dewalt flexvolt.
So good learned heaps thanks!
Hope it helps you on your next job!
Looks cool 🔥
This mobile man’s office is $125,000-$150,000. May the Plumbing Gods always bless you
👍👍‼️more please
More to come!
Just because a lot of people are retiring and not as many people are joining the trade, that doesn’t mean it’s a “dying” industry. The demand will just be higher. A dying industry would be if automation or AI were taking over the jobs.
I think he just meant it a different way. But I get what you’re saying.
Incredible man❤
He seems like the fun uncle
True professional
Couldn’t agree more! Thanks for watching Floyd.
I got the pack out bug too
It’s addicting!
Sick 🔥
Im so jealous lol. Damn thats nice.
3:33 bro said “yeah forget that”
I hope Milwaukee is paying this guy wow what a setup.
I prefer shelves notice how he has to lift the boxes to open the ones below them.
I’m curious - what do you do when you need to transfer tools from the truck to inside the home?
As a service plumber, this setup does not work. There's relatively zero stock of material. As a jobbing plumber, this works. Van for tool transport and materials delivered to the site.
It's a very nice setup. I just believe it's solely for a jobber. These packouts cannot be brought into a home or apartment for a simple shower body replacement or minor service.
looks sweet. How come you you passed on doing a safety partition?
Let’s do a video! I have my own plumbing van in Cornelius Oregon. How do we get something going!
Hit me up on instagram! @toolboxtours
Can you do a “pool service technician van”?
Super nice setup
I have one suggestion for his med kit...add a cat tourniquet just in case
Ah that’s a good tip. Hopefully to never use.
That’s the homie Shadow from the barrio
cool guy
I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't prefer music on the job site
10:51 Phone charger team yellow come to the rescue, the only charger I use to charge my phone
I'm in automotive but all my buddies are plumbers
You ever think about switching over?
Wait has anyone totaled up the cost of equipment in this setup?!?!
Pretty sure they took gas out of the plumbing code where I live
How does one get their toolbox featured? lol 😅
Just send me a message on instagram @toolboxtours or an email at toolboxtour@gmail.com 👍
Dude, he doesnt use everflux? 😨
I prefer working alone too and if nobody else has used my tools I know they’re ready to go and where they are. Give me a job and go away please.
I’m the same. It’s tough letting others use your investment.
Coolio
I hope people will finally appreciate those carrying society on their back while being demonized...
You got a small fortune on parts that you might use parts are beat up and if they fail where did you purchase it for replacement I’m not a charity i run a business if you can’t afford the price of the repairs for your special parts don’t buy them get regular plumbing fixtures
Its a scamming paradise in the plumbing industry
you only need 1/4 of those tools so u can cut your prices down if we wasn’t in a inflated world of prices and ego
😮Its not good , you need shelves where you can grab stuff and move fast, it takes a lot of time to open the boxes move boxes around and search inside the boxes for parts its a disaster waste of time . Its just looks good organized but its not better then the shelves sry
