I was interested in this until I found out it's more than $20. The X3 is a fantastic mouse for $15. I'd pay an extra $5 more for 4grams lighter I guess?
There are several factors why it's more expensive, the main reason being: magnesium alloy and the fact that it does not have any technical advantages over a regular mouse so they are going to sell fewer of them which makes them even more expensive to produce. :)
How can you think a magnesium mice with paw 3950 8khz omron opticals and coiled cable can be under 20$? It's cheap even at 80$ compared to the market 😂
Hi👋 Very thankful for your review! Im a little bit confused with the R2 issue that you have experienced and it got me doubting about buying the R2. Right now im trying to choose between ATK F1 Pro Max and AttackShark R2. They cost pretty much the same in my country (~60$) and I can’t decide which one to buy. Could you please tell me if you’ve found the solution for your issue with the R2. And could you please tell me which one of these mice is better as well, please 🙏 🙏🙏 Im going to be very thankful to you for your help ❤️
I've just got my hands on a full retail version of this mouse and will be doing some tests to see if the bug is still there from this pre-release mouse. Stay tuned for the new content.
Have you tried lowering the polling rate? Affordable mice often have stability issues with wireless polling rates of 4000 hz and above. Try to lower it to 2000 or even 1000 hz. My guess is that once you connect the mouse via cable you are limited to 1000 hz and the issue does not persist. EDIT: 8k polling also does put a lot of strain on your CPU. This can also feel like movements are slowing down because your framerate drops significantly.
@@kornar Funny you should mention this. We've just published a UA-cam Short looking into the mouse. The mouse from the full review was a pre-release model. We've just been sent a retail version and the same issue. Lowering the polling rate to 1000Hz for me anyway sorted out the issues I was experiencing. Thank you for your comment and checking out the content!
Are you using the mouse on 8K? because I have experience that same problem as well but on a different mouse when using 8K polling. Maybe that's why you are not noticing it when using via cable.
Yes, when on wireless I was using the 8k polling rate, assuming it was the fastest to send a receive polls from the usb port to the mouse itself to detect movement. Which mouse have you experienced this on? Thanks for the comment and affirming my experience. Good to know it's not just me experiencing this.
Some games cannot handle 8K polling. Hence why it's giving you dropped frames feeling. Go to 2k and it will probably go away or even back to 1k. Sure 8k is nice to have but really is over the top. The improvements past 2k are so marginal. It's just min/maxing at that point for a 1 percent difference.
thanks for the review, pitting this against the Pulsar Xlite V3 Medium. If I put the similar add ons for the pulsar its identical prices on amazon. the magnesium has me interested.
@@TechNuovo if the pulsar holds the sale by the time paycheck goes through, the pulsar, still have an Xlite V2 OG working. Just that the battery is lasting less and less now. So kind of tempted to stick to what I know will work, fingers crossed of course.

@@MrHara1984 Okay curious. I'm going to have to source some scales I think to give this a test because Attack Shark claim 45g. They can't be that far out.
Are you upgrading to the new Attack Shark R2 gaming mouse?
@@TechNuovo Iam looking for. Sell my superlight. Bought r3, and it is too small for my 19.5 cm hand
@@sochifrost The R2 is smaller than the R3 but not by much at all. If you're looking for a bigger mouse then you might have to look elsewhere.

@@sochifrost unfortunately not. Although one could guess it's bigger than the r3.
@@TechNuovothe r2 is definitely not smaller than the r3 lol
just to note that, 8k polling rate has a minimum pc specs requirement, and also interference can be a problem with any kind of wireless device.
Thanks for the note. Unsure on what could interfere in a standard gaming setup but that could be the case. Can't see it though myself.
ahh i see, anyways have you tried connecting the attack shark r2 to a charging dock? @@TechNuovo
i had it on 8k polling rate and my valorant was dropping frames lol
@@defaultpfpwithafly7504 this is crazy! What did you do change it back down?
@@TechNuovo I downloaded the attack shark software and it let me change my polling rate from 500 to 8k whenever I want
My ATK F1 did the same thing, I found out on the internet that it was the USB cable, there was a coiled keyboard here and the failures ended.
Ahh nice one! I'm going to try this!
@@TechNuovodid it fix it?
@@rawr6796 nope. It's something to do with compatibility I think. Going down to 2,000Hz polling helped.

just use raw accel so u dont have to change ur dpi while gaming

Any video coming out on the Attack Shark X3 Max?
No plans yet, but I will check it out.
For demensions it is like r3 right?
R2 - 117.6*61.8*38.9mm
R3 - 119*61*36mm
