    Can I use a serial connection for shutdown when I have a Network Management Card installed ?

    Does this apply for all SmartUPS models or just the SUA models? I have an SMC model.

    i was using a sua1000i, then the batteries died, and i kept using it without batteries....after 2 weeks it apparently died too. i'm not sure it actually dead there is a way to cold start it without batteries? it doesnt make any sound at all.

    I have a APC 2200XL
    (manual referred:48vdc) smart ups
    Which i bought second hand
    And if i connect a input cable
    All of the Indicator LEDs are blinking every 3-4 seconds With beeping sound and i really need to resolve this problem as soon as possible
    Pls help me with this !!

      Thank you for reaching out. All leds flashing simultaneously indicates an internal fault with the unit.

      This is not a recoverable fault unfortunately and the unit will need to be replaced.

    how could i adjust the input power sensitivity to this ups ? cause sometimes i have from wall 180 or 170v and the ups refuses to change output power from battery to normal ac . thats why i need to adjust input sensitivity ? how could i do it pls

    Once I reboot it, will I have to re-do all my initial settings?

      Thank you for reaching out. A UPS cold start will not clear any previously configured settings. It will test whether the unit can start up from battery power. Hope this helps!
