  • I share how I needle felted this owl so that it looks feathery without making any feathers and talk you through all the steps so that you can needle felt this cute owl and show you the techniques I came up with to felt the feathers around the eyes, belly and back.
    In this tutorial I’ll also explain in detail how I applied the face details.
    Hope you like it, good luck.

    You enlightened me on this one; it never occurred to me the usefulness of a strip of paper to measure the position of the eyes...I'm sounding like a dunce here but I'm on a steep learning curve and I appreciate the detailed tips on your channel. I love the fluffy eyes and the feather patterning, cheers for the how-to for these as well! 🥰

    So adorable. Thanks for the tips. I have to make couple Owls in different colors. This video is a big help as I just started yesterday with a mini bichon that now I know wasn't tight enough. But ok for first try. Lol.

    are you able to utilize the trimmed off bit of cream tops from around the eyes? Or is not waste?

    • @juliesfeltedfriends
      @juliesfeltedfriends  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the question, yes you can use the trimmed off pieces if you want to, maybe you could add it to other wool to cover the core wool with that colour? Hope this helps, thanks for watching
